I made a hotel reservation for the Days Inn in Wagoner, Oklahoma on July 27th via Expedia. Upon arrival, the hotel clerk said their system was down and charged $79.64 to my Capital One credit card, despite my prior payment through Expedia. He mentioned canceling my reservation with Expedia and charged more than the original booking. Currently, I've paid for the room twice using different credit cards and would like a refund.

I am currently in the United States and have a confirmed booking to return to New Zealand on August 18th from Seattle to San Francisco and then onwards to Auckland on NZ 7. Recently, I received an email from you notifying me that Air New Zealand has canceled the flight to Auckland. I am unsure of the reason behind the cancellation and would appreciate guidance on how to proceed.
Previously, I missed my initial Air New Zealand flight from Auckland to Vancouver on Wednesday as I forgot to arrange the Canadian eTA. I managed to catch a flight the next day with Air Tahiti Nui to Seattle via Los Angeles. Could the recent flight cancellation be related to this incident? Thank you for your assistance.

Hello, my name is Rexx DeClay. I am contacting you today regarding a refund issue. I had a reservation at Metro PHX Apartments on North Black Canyon Highway back in January. Despite paying in full, including insurance, I encountered an issue upon arrival. After checking in online via Expedia and briefly leaving to retrieve my belongings, I returned to find a stranger assisting me. However, the security team asked me to vacate the apartment without providing a valid explanation or reason. Video footage from the location can corroborate my version of events. Metro PHX Apartments advised me to contact Expedia for a refund due to my online check-in when the main office was inaccessible. I am concerned about the refund status as I never stayed overnight in the studio apartment and believe it unjust to be asked to leave without cause. I possess documentation such as booking confirmations and payment receipts to support my claim. My payment was made over the phone using a card.

I made a booking at Accra Beach Hotel with my wife in either January or February using my credit card. We called to cancel the initial reservation as we found a family rate and my wife booked it on her credit card instead. However, we were charged on August 5 for a no-show by my credit card. Last night, I attempted to buy airline tickets for three individuals from Kalamazoo to Seattle for August 25-31, [redacted]. A message appeared at checkout stating the ticket prices had changed, so I didn't proceed. However, I found out this morning that my bank account was charged random amounts by Expedia and American Airlines, totaling over $[redacted]. This has left me unable to buy the desired tickets now due to insufficient funds. I need to contact a representative urgently as the automated system requests a booking/confirmation number that I never received. Unfortunately, this delay might result in me missing the chance to see my brother and his family after three years.

My daughter is upset about a hotel booking in NYC at the 110th Boutique Hotel. She used her credit card for the dates 8/19-9/1, spending over $[redacted]. It turns out the area is unsafe. The hotel is not answering calls and has a strict cancellation policy. Expedia mentioned they are unable to help with a cancellation if the hotel doesn't agree. The dates are more than two weeks away. Expedia should reimburse this fraudulent hotel booking. It's unfair to list a place on their site if there's no option to cancel. The hotel outright declined to cancel. Please reach out to my daughter.

I'm currently at the Ritz Carlton in Maui, and we're facing a power outage. The road out of the resort is closed due to a fire. When we inquired at the front desk about extending our stay, they mentioned they couldn't offer a good rate or compensation as we booked through Expedia. They advised us to reach out to Expedia for a discounted or complimentary extension.

I made a reservation at the Holiday Inn Express in Davis, California for August 4th and 5th. The room I reserved online appeared to have 3 beds, one in a separate room. However, upon arrival, I was given a King room with a pull-out sofa instead. The front desk staff claimed they did not offer the room style I booked. I was attending soccer camps with my kids at UC Davis and needed comfortable sleeping arrangements. Despite requesting a room change, none were available, so I asked to cancel my reservation. The hotel staff directed me to Expedia for the cancellation process. After contacting Expedia, they told me the hotel was responsible for the cancellation. I haven't heard back from you since I provided my information for the flight tickets or itinerary. Without receiving any confirmation from you, I have decided to cancel the flight without any penalties. Despite my multiple attempts to contact you through different channels, I have not received a response. I have tried reaching out to customer service but have not gotten a satisfactory answer. The lack of professionalism and communication from your end is disappointing. Treating customers in this manner is not acceptable, which is why I have chosen to cancel the flight. The new 6-digit security code login process is not functioning correctly with my Expedia account. I am not receiving the codes at my Expedia email address. I suspect the issue might be related to my email domain name "q". Lately, some internet security servers appear to deem the single letter "q" domain name as invalid. I have an alternative email address that will function properly, however, I am unable to access Expedia to update my email. My current Expedia email is: den61begone@q,com. I wish to change it to [redacted]

In July [redacted], I booked a flight from LAX to Tokyo. Unfortunately, in August [redacted], my partner and I were in a hit-and-run accident which has left me in need of continuous physical therapy. Despite submitting all necessary documents, Expedia has refused to provide a refund. I have been in contact with the airline, who has escalated the matter with Expedia multiple times, but after over a month of trying, I am still unable to obtain a full refund.

I bought a round-trip ticket to Los Angeles using AFTERPAY for payment. I still haven't received the tickets, but I did get a confirmation email with an Itinerary #. I've been trying to reach out to Expedia, but they claim I have no upcoming travel plans, even though I have an itinerary number. Additionally, one of the bookings is incorrect, showing me leaving from Burbank twice instead of having a round trip from IND to Burbank. Everything is a complete mess, and I'm starting to panic because my trip is just next month.

On July 30, I attempted to book a trip including airfare and hotel through EXPEDIA. However, I encountered an issue with my credit card. We booked a flight with record locator QKAUXA, reservation reference PX6ZB3 through EXPEDIA from Paris CDG to Fort Lauderdale via Philadelphia on August 1st, [redacted]. EXPEDIA handled the booking but only informed us after payment that we needed to allow for a 3-hour layover in Philadelphia. We had less than 2 hours (flight times were not chosen by us) and missed our connection due to slow administrative processes: going through police checks twice, complete customs checks three times, and changing terminals. Our luggage was checked through to Fort Lauderdale, but we had to claim and recheck it in Philadelphia. We had to stay overnight at Philadelphia airport, costing us $[redacted].86 plus meals and taxi. We are very disappointed and are hoping for compensation or a refund. The staff member requested a debit or credit card with a minimum of $[redacted] available as a security deposit. Unfortunately, I do not possess a card with that amount of money. I am currently not in a financial situation where I have that kind of money available. The situation was particularly disheartening as I had to request a refund, contrary to the no refund policy stated in the advertisement. To make matters worse, my evening was completely ruined, especially following the loss of my residence in the Maui fire. I am profoundly upset by the experience, and the least that could be done is to refund my money.

We made a flight booking through Expedia from Providence, RI to Chicago for 8/11, returning on 8/14/23. After discovering an issue with our dog sitter, we needed to change our return date to 8/13. Despite having trip insurance, Expedia couldn't help with the change. Thankfully, American Airlines was able to assist us, but unfortunately, we were charged a change fee and extra flight costs. Hello, I am looking to reserve a Jacuzzi room for my wife's birthday due to her severe back problems.
