I made a reservation at Tru by Hilton Hotel in South Portland, Maine for May 31 to June 1, [redacted]. Upon arrival around 6 pm for check-in, I was informed that their booking system was down nationwide, and we couldn't receive a room key. After returning two hours later, the issue persisted, and the clerk suggested we find alternative accommodation as there was no certainty of room availability that night. She promised to cancel our reservation. I eventually booked another hotel through Expedia. When I contacted the hotel the next morning, I was instructed to seek a full refund from Expedia.

I participated in a school program in England in January [redacted]. Due to the escalating Covid situation, I had to change my flights with British Airways and West Jet through Expedia. After much trouble canceling and rebooking, I received an email from Expedia confirming a flight credit of $[redacted] valid until [redacted]. However, when I tried to use it recently, the credit was missing. Expedia informed me that as I hadn't flown recently, my original ticket number expired, transferring the credit to British Airways. British Airways claims I paid Expedia and they should reinstate the credit. I am frustrated by this situation and will escalate it to the media if my issue is not resolved promptly.

I am planning to book a round-trip flight from Toronto to Istanbul. On the return journey, there is a layover in Madrid for 2 hours. I am curious if I need to claim my luggage in Madrid before checking in for the Toronto flight. Turkish Airlines operates the Istanbul to Madrid flight, and Air Canada operates the Madrid to Toronto flight.
Similarly, I have a question about the departure flight from Toronto to Istanbul with layovers in Munich, then continuing to Istanbul with Turkish Airlines operated by Lufthansa.

Despite correcting my address with an Expedia representative due to a previous issue, my booking is still not appearing on the app or website, causing some concern. I was not informed of the hotel undergoing renovation before my stay. Upon arrival, I discovered a burnt microwave and broken areas in the room which I reported to the staff. Despite their chance to make things right, breakfast included an insufficient 1/2 sandwich, mini donut, and generic juice, none of which I could eat. I had to provide my room number for this disappointing meal handed over the counter by the attendant. The lack of proper food safety measures is concerning. Overall, the experience has left me feeling uncomfortable, and I believe it might have contributed to my current skin irritation. I plan to visit a clinic for evaluation. The hotel shows potential but is currently not meeting expectations. I am requesting a full refund for my stay.

With a friend, we had booked a room for the evening of June 17 following a fundraising activity (Defis Kilimanjaro in Quebec) for the benefit of the CHU. This activity was canceled by the CHU this morning due to the rain forecasted for tomorrow. I booked a flight from Warsaw, Poland to Edmonton for June 10 due to family issues in Ukraine. I contacted Expedia to reschedule the return flight, but they said my card's travel insurance wouldn’t cover it. They wrongly advised me to cancel the return flight and contact my insurance, which led to more confusion. When I called Expedia on June 19 to reschedule my flight for July 10, I was given incorrect advice. I was told to cancel the flight and contact my insurance, which turned out to be unhelpful. Today, another agent informed me that my flight had been canceled, not by me but by the previous agent’s misguided instructions. I have encountered multiple issues in the past few days with Expedia misguiding me. I only wanted to change my flight date and receive a credit for future use. Dealing with Expedia and insurance has left me frustrated with no resolution. Additionally, last year, a flight I booked was canceled by the airline resulting in added expenses and inconvenience. Despite reaching out to both Expedia and the airline, I have not received sufficient compensation. I accidentally booked a room at the Rex Hotel in Toronto for July 20th to 21st instead of June 20th to 21st. Upon arrival, they had the wrong booking and I couldn't stay there, so I had to book a room at another hotel for the night. I'm now back home in Nova Scotia and won't need the room on July 20th. I need to cancel the reservation and get a refund. Thank you.

I recently booked a one night stay at the Rex Hotel in Toronto for July 28 to July 21 instead of June 20 to June 21 due to a simple mistake made without my glasses. I recently made a booking for a non-refundable hotel room through Expedia. Unfortunately, I cancelled within what I thought was a 24-hour window, only to realize I would lose all the money. I booked four round-trip tickets from Montego Bay to Philadelphia for myself and my children on Wednesday, June 21, [redacted]. I recently made my first booking on Expedia and reserved a room at Hotel Senator through your website around 11:30 pm last night. Despite receiving a confirmation email promptly after payment, I couldn't reach anyone at Hotel Senator when I called to check if I could still check in at that late hour. Concerned, I contacted Super Travel, and asked to cancel the reservation. The representative assured me that someone would call within 20 minutes to assist with the cancellation. Meanwhile, I had to seek accommodation elsewhere and ended up at Super 8 at midnight. I missed a supervisor's call around 1:51 am but received an email stating they were working on the issue and had finally reached Hotel Senator around 4:00 am. Hotel Senator confirmed they couldn't refund me without your authorization. I've been trying to resolve this, as it's unfair that I paid for two rooms due to this confusion. Please assist me in getting a refund for the hotel reservation I couldn't use.

I recently booked a flight from Vienna to Athens, Greece through Expedia for June 17th, with a layover in Belgrade, Serbia. The total route time was 4 hours and 55 minutes. Although we checked in an hour before the scheduled departure time of 9:45 am from Vienna to Belgrade, there was a delay notification around 9:45-9:57 am. Unfortunately, we only found out that the flight was delayed after everyone had checked in. This resulted in missing our connecting flight in Belgrade to Athens and being stuck at the airport for nearly 24 hours. I am requesting compensation for the multiple delays, time lost, expenses incurred for the hotel stay, and money spent on food and water at the Belgrade airport.

I was informed by ReservationDesk.com that I wouldn't need a credit card for check-in. However, upon arrival at Anavada Inn & Suites Grande Prairie, I was asked for one. The front desk mentioned that the reservation came through as an Expedia booking. They advised me to reach out to Expedia for assistance since they required a credit card for the reservation. Upon arrival at the hotel, I was confused about where to check in since the hotel shares a building with a car rental company. The parking was tight, making it difficult to maneuver, and we had to wait over 20 minutes for a receptionist to assist us after phoning the front desk. Unfortunately, the receptionist was not very welcoming.
The elevator was cramped and seemed unsafe, and upon entering our room, it did not match the images on Expedia. The room was tiny, had a faulty AC, and there were hairs on the bathroom floor and sink. The toilet was not securely attached to the floor, and there was no toilet paper holder.
The broken privacy lock added to our discomfort, and the room cleanliness was subpar. Additionally, despite the promise of a continental breakfast, it was nonexistent. The presence of a messy microwave area further added to our disappointment. I do not plan on staying at this hotel in the future.

I made a vacation package reservation with Expedia, but Flair Airlines changed the flight dates, causing a mismatch with the hotel booking. Hello,
I am reaching out to inform Expedia about incorrect information regarding a listing. Unfortunately, I do not have a reservation number as I discovered the error before making a booking. This lack of reservation is making it difficult for me to contact customer service regarding this issue.
There is an apartment in Nice that is misleading customers with its location on the map. The listing is advertised as "Beautiful T2 downtown sea view - Nice Quiet clim. sun and sea." However, the map shows the apartment in the Jean Médecin district (close to old Nice and the beach) when it is actually situated in the Valrose district north of the train station (far from the beach).
I feel it is important for Expedia to correct this misinformation to prevent customers from being misled.
