Hello,
I wanted to share the frustrating experience I had trying to retrieve my luggage (Lysamma Raju). After being directed to collect my bags by a sky handling staff member, I faced unresponsive phone lines and unhelpful personnel in the handling area. One employee even rudely refused to assist, mentioning they had advised my mother not to return as they claimed they couldn't assist.
Despite multiple attempts to contact them via telephone, I received no response and wasted an entire day dealing with this ordeal. It was a distressing ordeal.
I am requesting the safe delivery of my two bags to my home to avoid further inconvenience. The bags contain essential medication for my mother that she needs regularly, and her health is a significant concern.

Hello,
I want to share my recent ordeal in retrieving my baggage. After being called by a Sky Handling representative to collect my luggage, I faced unresponsive phone lines. Seeking help from a person in the Sky Handling area proved futile as she refused to assist or address any concerns about collecting my baggage. I was disheartened by her comment suggesting my mother should not return to the area as nothing could be done.
Despite my efforts to contact them through the phone, I received no response, wasting hours of my day on this distressing experience. I request that my two bags be delivered to my home to avoid any further inconvenience. The bags contain essential medications for my mother, and her health is my primary concern.
Thank you.

I'm flying from Heathrow to Nepal on the 12th of January at 19:45. I'm unsure whether to do my PCR test on Monday or Tuesday due to the 48 or 72-hour rule.
I'm traveling with my baby and wife, who have separate tickets but are on the same flight. We will check in together at Heathrow - can we request to sit together? Your help on this would be appreciated.

I had a flight booked for the 31st of January with the reference number IJOGLX. Unfortunately, I tested positive for covid and had to reschedule. My new flight is tomorrow at 12:40 p.m from Manchester to Islamabad, with a stopover in Abu Dhabi. I had purchased the dynamic seat blocker for £32 on my original flight. Can I transfer this service to my new flight to block the seat next to me? Thank you.

On October 19, I made a payment from my bank account in Germany via Ingenico to purchase a ticket. Unfortunately, I used an incorrect reference number for the first payment. Realizing my mistake, I made another payment with the correct reference number, which successfully allowed me to purchase the ticket. Now, I am trying to get the first payment with the wrong reference, which didn't trigger any action and is still with Etihad, back into my account. Can you provide assistance with this matter? - Georg G.

Dear Sir/Madam,
On January 5th, I booked a flight ticket for my family – myself, my husband, and our two little kids. The order number is LG2RXL with booking number WQ3ZJH. The airline booking reference is EKLJZL, and the flight numbers are EY42 and EY246. However, there was a mistake in my husband's name, listed as Susans Muthaiya instead of his correct name, Sunans Muthaiya. It would be greatly appreciated if you could issue an updated ticket with the correct name - Mr. Sunans Muthaiya. We are traveling from Dublin, Ireland to Kochi, India with our two young children, one being a toddler. I apologize for any inconvenience caused and would be thankful for your assistance in this matter.
Thank you in advance,
Sheena Treesa Joseph

I need assistance understanding the PCR test requirements for my upcoming flight to Abu Dhabi from Indonesia. According to Etihad's website, the test should be taken 48 hours before the flight. For my flight on January 18 at 22:05, does this mean I should test on January 16? Additionally, should the validation period start from the test date or the release of the test result? I am also confused about the suggested facilities for the PCR test. Although they are mainly in Jakarta, I am from Malang and will only be in Jakarta on the day before my flight to Abu Dhabi. This creates a timing issue as results are usually available the day after the test. Your clarification would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

To the Customer Service Manager at Etihad Airways,
I am writing about my recent booking with booking reference SKWUK-[redacted] and ticket number [redacted][redacted]. I work for Sheffield Live Radio/TV in the UK as a journalist/presenter and booked my flight for January 15, [redacted], through Skyscanner.
Upon receiving my E-ticket on the same day, I discovered that my flight with Etihad had been rescheduled from January 17, [redacted], to January 20, [redacted]. Despite hearing great reviews about Etihad from friends, this change was disappointing as it conflicted with my recording schedule.
I reached out to Skyscanner offering to travel on January 18th/19th or an earlier flight, but was only provided with the rescheduled date. I am hoping for any possibility of an earlier alternative.
Thank you,
Jawaid Anwar

Dear Manager,
I'm reaching out regarding our flight booking from Philadelphia to Hyderabad with locator ID: “QYBEWL” which included a transfer in Chicago and Abu Dhabi.
Unfortunately, we had to end our journey in Chicago on January 5th, [redacted], due to personal reasons. The segments from Chicago to Abu Dhabi and Abu Dhabi to Hyderabad were unused. After contacting Etihad's USA helpline, we were directed to get in touch with the booking agent, Priceline. Priceline, in turn, suggested contacting Etihad Airlines in Abu Dhabi, who mentioned they would be open to offering a travel credit or rebooking for a journey from Philadelphia to Hyderabad on different dates within a year. We would be grateful to receive a travel credit for these unutilized segments.
Best Regards,
M.K. and S.K.

Hi, my name is S. M. I travelled to the USA via Etihad and unfortunately lost my baggage in Abu Dhabi. It has been three days, and I have yet to receive it. As a first-time traveler, this situation has been quite challenging for me. Upon my arrival at Abu Dhabi airport, the travel desk assured me that my luggage would be transferred. However, during immigration, I was informed that my baggage had not arrived and that I needed to claim it at my final destination in Chicago. At Chicago airport, I provided my details and boarding pass for further assistance with locating my baggage. Thank you for your help in resolving this matter.

Hello, I apologize for insisting, but I haven't received any update regarding my transfer made on Wednesday, and I am starting to worry. Just as a reminder, I made a transfer of €[redacted].60 with payment reference [redacted]33 to Global Collect BV from my bank account Van Ooteghem Sylvie. However, I should have used reference number [redacted]33, so there's a small mistake, and I'm afraid they won't find the payment linked to my booking. The reference is under the number BMUCEL in the name of Leblond Fiona. In the meantime, I received a phone call from Etihad in England, but I don't speak English, so I didn't understand what they wanted. I haven't received an email or anything else. Our departure is in 15 days, and I would like for you to confirm that you have received my payment and reassure me that I will soon receive my tickets by email. Thank you.

Subject: Refund Request for Missed Flight Due to COVID-19
Dear Etihad Airways Customer Service,
I am reaching out to request a refund for my missed flight from Rome to Melbourne on 1/1/22 with the booking reference: DXXWXM. Unfortunately, I tested positive for COVID-19, which prevented me from traveling. Despite providing documentation to Etihad on 31/12/21 regarding my inability to fly, I am encountering difficulties with my travel agent, MyTrip, who requires a "waiver code" to process the refund without extra charges.
Even though Etihad has confirmed my eligibility for a full refund, MyTrip insists on the waiver code from the airline to move forward. This back-and-forth between Etihad and MyTrip has led to lengthy phone calls and delays. I kindly ask for your assistance in resolving this matter by either providing the required waiver code or communicating directly with MyTrip to facilitate the refund process.
I appreciate your attention to this issue and thank you in advance for your help.
Sincerely,
Nicholas Ngan Kee

Hello, my name is Silvia. I recently purchased two flight tickets through Skyscanner. I attempted to select seats and add extra luggage via the Etihad website but was instructed to use the Virgin Australia site for flights operated by Virgin Australia. Upon entering the booking number and surname on the Virgin Australia site, it was deemed invalid. Virgin Australia advised me to obtain the Virgin Australia booking reference from Etihad to successfully make these additions. I kindly request the Virgin Australia booking reference codes for flights EY6307 and EY6455 for myself, Spencer Donald Jack, and for Silvia Alessandrelli. The flights are as follows: Darwin to Rome on April 3, [redacted], with flight numbers EY6307, EY451, and EY85, as well as Rome to Darwin on April 27, [redacted], with flight numbers EY86, EY454, and EY6455. Your assistance is greatly appreciated. Best regards, Silvia.

Dear Etihad Airways, I encountered a problem with my trip scheduled on February 3, [redacted], from Dhaka, Bangladesh to Abu Dhabi Dubai with a connecting flight to Kuwait. Upon arrival at Dhaka International Airport, I discovered that while the first leg from Dhaka to Abu Dhabi was confirmed, the ticket for the Abu Dhabi to Kuwait flight was canceled. I had confirmed with Etihad Airways prior to my journey from Kuwait to Dhaka that my ticket was valid. Unfortunately, due to a network problem, I couldn't reach Etihad Airways immediately to address this issue, leading to me missing my flight. I am seeking assistance on how to resolve this matter. My name on the ticket is ALAMGIR/ISMAILMR, and the booking reference is FNCUTS.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am reaching out regarding my upcoming flight with the reference number WSZZBY. I have a medical condition that makes it difficult for me to walk due to multiple foot surgeries. I have requested wheelchair assistance, which I appreciate.
During my stopover in Abu Dhabi, I have a long layover of over 12 hours starting late in the evening at 23:35. Considering my condition, staying in a wheelchair for that duration will be challenging. While I understand that the airline cannot provide a hotel room for such a long layover, I kindly request assistance in the form of access to a lounge or similar facility where I can rest and stretch my legs.
I would greatly appreciate any help Etihad Airways can offer during my stopover.
Sincerely,
M.H. Patel

Hello, I am writing on behalf of my brother-in-law regarding an issue with his flight ticket purchased through EDreams Travel. The ticket was issued on September 9 for a flight from Zurich to Manila on September 11, [redacted]. Due to the pandemic, passengers from Switzerland were not allowed to enter the Philippines from September 12 to September 19. Etihad Airways in Zurich advised us to request a refund from EDreams. Despite Etihad sending a message confirming the ticket's refundability, EDreams has not processed the refund. We have contacted Etihad multiple times, and they claim to have sent the message to EDreams. We are now seeking confirmation that the ticket is indeed refundable for legal purposes. The passenger's name is Mr. Federico Tolentino, and the reference number is SMJYEG with ticket number [redacted][redacted]. Thank you for your assistance. Sincerely, Teddy Reyes.
