Dear Team, I am writing to seek assistance with a booking issue. On March 7th, I purchased tickets for a journey from Frankfurt to Mumbai via Abu Dhabi for May 16th to May 21st, totaling [redacted],44EUR. Despite making a direct online bank transfer to Global collect BV, my booking with Etihad Airways (reference no. OXDIKH) remains unconfirmed due to the airline claiming it is a soft charge. Despite explaining the situation both to Etihad Airways and my bank, the issue persists. I attempted to reverse the charge, incurring additional costs, but to no avail. As a result, I have not been refunded and did not travel on the specified dates. As an international student looking forward to attending my sister's wedding, this situation has placed a financial strain on me. I kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter with Global collect and facilitating the return of my funds. Hello, I wanted to share my experience regarding a recent booking issue with Etihad Airways. On 6th June [redacted], I made a reservation for two tickets on flights EY239 and EY399 from Bangalore to Doha for a passenger named Sunitha Jagannathachary. The booking payment was processed via net banking with IndusInd Bank, India. However, while the money was deducted, the tickets were not issued by Etihad. After reaching out multiple times via Etihad chat, I was informed that there was no transaction record and that the amount would be refunded within 15 to 30 days due to a soft charge. Despite more than 30 days passing and receiving a reference number from the bank indicating the transfer to Etihad, chat agents continue to deny receiving the payment. My bank requires official communication from Etihad Airways regarding this issue, but I am unable to obtain one as the chat agents deny the transaction. As there is no Etihad office in Qatar, my country of residence, and no official email provided by Etihad for communication, I am seeking assistance in reaching out to resolve this matter. Thank you.

My boyfriend and I have flights booked for a trip to Bali on July 22 in the morning. His ticket is one way with a date change option, and mine is round trip with no option to change dates. The issue is that I currently only have a temporary passport. I am wondering if it is feasible for my boyfriend to transfer his flight ticket to me so that I can have the flexibility to change the date and potentially fly at a later time, allowing my friend to take my outbound flight on July 22. We are flying with Etihad Airways and Malindoair.

Hello, I am requesting assistance with changing my return flight from Bangkok to Munich. I am attempting to make this change through Etihad's official website. When selecting my new return flight, I encounter a pop-up message stating "The selected fare benefit is not the same as your previous booking. Click confirm to proceed with the selected fare benefits." Upon confirming, I receive an error message (E/[redacted]) stating "An unexpected error occurred while processing your request, please try again later or contact us." I flew with Etihad Airways for a trip to the Maldives. Before the flight, I preselected and paid for specific seats, as well as priority boarding. However, when returning from the Maldives to Abu Dhabi, we were given different seats than what we had booked, despite having proof of our seat selection. The airline staff suggested we had not paid for the seats we selected initially. Additionally, we encountered issues with priority boarding at the Abu Dhabi airport, where staff were not accommodating despite us having proof of purchase. The communication and treatment by the staff were disappointing and left a negative impression on what was supposed to be a special trip. I hope to receive a response to address these concerns. It would have been helpful if this information about the absence of television on the flights was disclosed when booking, as it could have influenced my choice of airline. Les vols du 15 janvier [redacted] d'ABU DHABI vers COLOMBO et du 29 janvier [redacted] de COLOMBO vers ABU DHABI, totalisant plus de 8h de vol, ne disposaient pas de télévision. C'est un inconvénient pour un vol aussi long. Comparativement, j'ai récemment voyagé avec EMIRATES de COLOMBO vers les MALDIVES, un vol de 1h30, et ils offraient des divertissements à bord.
