I had booked a flight for my husband and child, but due to Covid, their flight was canceled and Etihad Airways opted to refund the money through Etihad Bank. When I made another booking for myself with that money, I had to cancel it a second time due to a medical issue. The refunded amount went back to the travel bank, deducting charges. The statement confirmed the refund on May 17, [redacted]. Now, while trying to book for February [redacted], I encountered issues with the payment section showing "insufficient funds" every time I tried. Upon contacting customer service, they informed me that my Etihad Bank balance was zero. After investigating with the bank, I found out that the refund expiry date was May 22, [redacted], just five days after the refund was processed. I am frustrated with the lack of communication and assistance from Etihad Airways.

This sudden change has put me in a difficult situation as a Spanish citizen in South Africa. Despite making multiple calls to Etihad over the past two months, I have not received any resolution. During our recent flight, my daughter left her phone on the seat. A kind lady informed me she had found it and handed it to a flight attendant. Despite our immediate request, the staff did not assist in returning the phone.
It has been over two weeks without the phone, and we have not been updated. We are puzzled by the staff's reluctance to return the phone promptly.
I fear that my daughter may not retrieve her phone as it seems the staff did not prioritize returning it. The lady who found it had informed a flight attendant of the specific seat where she found the phone upon our disembarkation.

I flew from Manchester to Abu Dhabi on flight EY16 on January 4th, [redacted], and was seated in 16A. I had pre-reserved the seat for extra legroom, but the actual seating configuration on the plane did not match what I had selected during booking. The cabin crew explained the flight was full and could not make any changes. On my return flight as well, I encountered the same issue with seat 16A. Passengers in seats 16B and 16C had also paid for extra legroom like me. I moved to accommodate them. I want to highlight the excellent service of stewardess Riya Dash, who was attentive and tried to help.
I paid a total of $[redacted] for the extra legroom left-side window seat, which I did not receive, and I am requesting a refund. My seat on the return flight, EY15 from Abu Dhabi to Manchester, was 29A. Though it had extra legroom, it was cramped and uncomfortable.
I am looking forward to your response. It seems there might be issues with your website.

My initial flight from Chennai to Abu Dhabi on Feb 28 at 20:30 was delayed by 8 hours, causing inconvenience. Despite the lack of official information, a handwritten note at an Air Arabia counter notified me of the delay until 04:00 on March 1. Attempts to seek clarity through Etihad and Air Arabia's toll-free numbers proved futile, with misinformation and a lack of assistance.
During the wait, passengers were not provided resting accommodations and were left outside the airport, enduring poor treatment without updates. Subsequent flight changes disrupted my schedule, causing me to incur additional expenses and miss important commitments. Etihad's inadequate communication further exacerbated the situation, heightening stress levels.
This experience was distressing, and I kindly request appropriate compensation from Etihad Airlines.

I am experiencing issues with missing baggage. I traveled from Delhi to Hurghada on February 28, 23, with a layover in Visakhapatnam, Delhi, Abu Dhabi, Cairo, to Hurghada. Upon arrival in Hurghada, my baggage was missing. I was informed that I was supposed to collect it in Cairo, but this information was not communicated to me. Despite inquiring at every airport, I was told my baggage would arrive in Hurghada as indicated on the baggage tag. After several days, I received confirmation that my baggage was located in Cairo airport, but it was not given to me. Instead, I was informed that it was back loaded to Abu Dhabi.

I made a flight booking (Booking number - BEBQZW) from Hyderabad to Charlotte. Unfortunately, I had to cancel the ticket two months ago, but I have not yet received the refund for the cancelled ticket. I kindly request urgent assistance in processing the refund at the earliest. I am seeking assistance regarding my booking reference mentioned above. Yesterday, I spoke with Italian customer service, and I tried calling again about half an hour ago. I received a message informing me that the office is only open between 9 am and 5 pm.
I need to request putting the reservation on standby for a later date, possibly next week. The traveler is unwell and cannot fly today, awaiting medical clearance to travel. We are also waiting for visa collection at the embassy, which is ready for pickup.

I had a disappointing experience with Etihad. On April 5th, I traveled from Mumbai to London on flight EY [redacted]. Upon reaching Abu Dhabi, I was informed that my UK visa was not valid until May 15, preventing me from boarding the flight to London. Despite being issued boarding passes in Mumbai, I was unable to continue my journey. I believe there was a mistake on Etihad's end, and I am seeking compensation for the financial loss and inconvenience caused. My PNR is 5G8QQX. I kindly request Etihad to provide me with new tickets at their expense to make up for this error.

I experienced a ticketing issue with Etihad for my Delhi-London flight. Regarding my Booking Reference: NGZH56 for El Heysam El Semman and Roula Atasse, I have a few issues to address:
1. I made a typo in my email address during booking, so I didn't receive our air tickets. Please correct the email to [redacted] and resend the tickets.
2. Our trip will commence from Köln Train station on May 9th at 08:54. Could you clarify if luggage check-in is at the train or Frankfurt Terminal 2?
3. I require assistance from Frankfurt Train station to the flight gate, at Abu Dhabi during the stopover, and upon arrival in Bangkok. Assistance is also needed for transferring from Abu Dhabi airport to the Dubai bus on May 24th, returning to Abu Dhabi on May 29th, and transferring in Frankfurt from the plane to the train station.
4. On our return flight from Bangkok to Abu Dhabi on May 24th, we need a reservation for the Abu Dhabi-Dubai bus at 01:05 on May 25th and the return journey on May 29th from Dubai to Abu Dhabi airport at 06:05.

I am attempting to book a flight for May 9 from Atlanta Hartsfield to LaGuardia. I want to take Sky Blue Flight [redacted] connecting at JFK to Etihad Flight EY102, then onto Flight EY474. I have attempted several times to pay using First and Etihad credit from the travel bank, followed by a Visa, but I keep receiving error codes and cannot complete the transaction. I recently booked four tickets for my family, including two adult tickets, one child ticket (3 years old), and one infant ticket (6 months old), from Gondal Travel in Vitry Sur Seine, France. I was scheduled on EY15 to Abu Dhabi with Etihad, checking in at Manchester airport around 07:00 on Sunday, March 26, [redacted], at the Business Class counter. The agent weighed our bags, issued boarding passes, adjusted the ID tags on our luggage, and handed over the documents along with case ID numbers. Upon reaching Abu Dhabi, my husband got his bag, but mine was missing. After reporting it to the baggage desk, a case number was generated, and my email was taken for contact. They confirmed my bag was at the airport and would be located. Despite assurances of contact, I had to wait 44 hours for my bag, during which I had to buy essentials. The mix-up was traced back to Manchester where the tags were swapped. After numerous attempts on the Etihad website to lodge a complaint and provide receipts for expenses, there has been no resolution. I seek compensation for the inconvenience, time wasted, and extra costs incurred.
