I am in the process of reporting my lost EBT card in South Carolina. Despite not knowing my PIN number, I've attempted to contact customer service to request a new card. However, the automated system disconnects me when I cannot provide my PIN. I've tried entering a random 4-digit number hoping to speak with a representative, but it has been unsuccessful. I urgently need guidance on how to proceed with getting a replacement card and reporting the lost one. How can I resolve this issue?

My Ohio EBT card is repeatedly being declined at the register at Walmart in Grove City, Ohio. I know there are benefits on the card. When I tried calling the customer service telephone number, it rang once and then stated the call could not be completed as dialed. I know the number is correct because it is the same number I’ve had stored in my phone and been calling for several years now. Just to be sure, I double-checked the back of the card and online to confirm I am using the correct number. I tried dialing the number out by hand with the same result. I am able to place calls to other contacts in my list without any issues. I then called the Direction card from a different phone and encountered the same result. I am just trying to figure out what is going on. Is the system down?

I am currently in the process of obtaining my EBT card. I completed all the necessary paperwork, and I even put it in their mailbox to expedite the process. I have been patiently waiting at home for a response. After waiting for a week, I decided to follow up, only to find out that the mailroom is down and the copy machine is not functioning. It has been almost four weeks now, and I am still waiting with no reply. I already had my phone interview where I was told that I qualified, and all that was needed was a printout of my last EDD payment, which is stuck somewhere in the mailroom. Despite offering to provide another copy, I was informed that the mailroom should be operational. I have visited the EBT office three times about this same issue. During my last visit, I expressed my urgent need for funds as I am currently facing financial hardship and struggling to afford food. Unfortunately, the representative was unable to help me further. I am frustrated with the lack of communication and efficiency, as every visit to the office requires me to arrange transportation just to reach the bus stop, and then I have to borrow money for the bus fare. This entire process is time-consuming and could easily be avoided if the mailroom was functioning correctly. I am at a loss as to what steps to take next.

I, Michelle G., need assistance with my status change. Despite my efforts to contact the Platte City Department of Services after my unemployment ended on October 30, I have not received a response. I tried faxing the necessary documents from the Parkville Library weeks ago and visited the Platte City food stamp office four times, but no one has been able to help me. The department appears to be closed whenever I go, and the online submission did not work for me. I feel frustrated by the lack of communication and support in obtaining the assistance I need.

I have been informed by the Human Resources Center that I was approved for emergency SNAP EBT benefits since December 13th. However, I still have not received them. Last year, a similar situation occurred, and I ended up losing my benefits altogether. I am reaching out for assistance as I need these benefits urgently, especially during the pandemic. I kindly request that SNAP EBT Food Stamps resolve this issue by loading both this year's and last year's benefits onto my card today. Thank you for your help.

I need to update the mailing address on my Gateway account. My kids and I reside at one physical address, but we use a different mailing address due to issues with missing mail. The mailing address was previously my parents' home, but since they have sold the property and relocated, I need to switch the mailing address on file. Additionally, I have reported my lost EBT card, which is now deactivated, and the replacement card will be sent to the incorrect address. I am unsure if I should call customer service during specific hours to speak with a live representative.

I recently lost my Louisiana Medicaid coverage on November 30, [redacted], and noticed that additional benefits were still loading onto my Food Stamps card despite not using it currently. I was initially informed that I had one year to use the remaining balance, but after contacting my case worker with no response, the issue persists. My balance now exceeds $[redacted].00, which is causing financial strain due to losses from Hurricane Ida. My name is Mary B., and I can be reached at +[redacted]7. I reside in Valrico, FL, after being displaced by the hurricane. Urgent resolution of this matter is greatly appreciated as it affects my ability to calculate my remaining EBT funds accurately. Thank you for your prompt assistance.

I recently discovered that my card was reported stolen. My name is E. Dunn, my card number is [redacted]. I urgently need to have my card replaced as I've only bought food for 4 days. I have to pay $[redacted] in land taxes and deal with individuals who have moved onto my property and tampered with my electricity, leading to a $[redacted] bill increase in just one month. With a monthly income of $[redacted] and certain food expenses not covered by food stamps, I am grateful for the assistance provided by the state of Florida. Despite being 50 years old and dealing with various medical conditions since I was 30, I graduated with honors in Technical Engineering from C.F.C.C. in [redacted]. Now, I am considering furthering my education in religious studies, focusing on biblical studies, ministering, and leadership, as it was my great-grandma Grant's dream for me to preach at the 7th Avenue Church. I want to make her proud and uphold the strong legacy of my family.

Hello. We recently experienced a power outage lasting over 24 hours. I am looking for assistance in reporting this incident. I located a form to print on Gateway which instructs me to mail it, but no address was provided. I am trying to submit this report so we can potentially replace the food that was lost. If you have any alternative methods for submitting the form, such as faxing, downloading, or emailing it, please share those details. Thank you for your time and support.
Best regards,
Mary

I am currently 31 years old and have multiple health conditions, including autoperosthis and liver damage. I have been on Disability for two years. Every month, I have to pay $[redacted] out of pocket for my medical back shots. Despite my situation, my insurance is only providing me with $20 a month from my Florida EBT benefits, when the average individual usually receives much more. I feel this is unfair, especially considering I have additional medical expenses due to potassium deficiency. With a monthly income of $[redacted], it's challenging to make ends meet. I have reached out to representatives multiple times, but no one is responding. I even had to contact the State of California to understand the situation better. The lack of support and inadequate benefits are causing me significant financial strain.

On March 16th, [redacted], I attempted to order groceries through the Walmart app online. However, after entering my EBT Pin and hitting enter, I received an error message stating, "I’m sorry we’re having technical difficulties try again later." Upon retrying, I discovered that $[redacted] had been deducted from my EBT card, leaving only $8 remaining. After contacting Social Services for guidance, I was provided with a phone number to call for assistance. Despite attempts to reach a live person through the 1-[redacted] number, I was unable to resolve the issue. Walmart.com assured me that the funds would be reimbursed within 3 business days and advised returning with the transaction number if needed. Without a solution or transaction number, I am unable to purchase groceries with the missing $[redacted] on my EBT card.

I have been using EBT for over a year and I am grateful for the assistance. However, I recently encountered a problem with Amazon. Despite being careful with my orders, Amazon canceled my order twice erroneously claiming I used the wrong card, specifically the Amazon store card. I did not use that card. Despite my attempts to reorder, the issue persisted and now my Amazon account is suspended. I have tried to seek help from Amazon customer service, but with no success. The situation has left me frustrated and seeking assistance. If Amazon cannot resolve this, I am considering switching to another vendor like Walmart. Amazon's service has deteriorated in the last few months, with billing issues and unhelpful customer service. I would appreciate any advice or guidance on how to address this matter. Thank you. - Grace P. (6-28-[redacted])

After writing, I expect the verification of my account being solely accessed through my sign-in code to ensure my EBT card is accurately utilized. The correct amount should be deducted, yet Amazon claims I am using an Amazon store card, which is not the case. I exclusively use EBT for groceries, which is not supported by Amazon directly but by a company called Fresh through Amazon's site. This situation is concerning as I did not opt for the store card payment method. When I input my EBT code, it should indicate a valid transaction. However, Amazon later asserts a payment with a store card that I did not select or have the ability to use with an EBT PIN. It's frustrating how Amazon mishandles customer transactions.

I am having trouble with my EBT card and it is affecting my ability to provide for my children. I am a single parent on Social Security with a daughter who has a learning disorder. Due to changes in my benefits, I now receive significantly less for food stamps. I used to get $[redacted], but now it's only $80 for me and my daughter per month. Additionally, they reduced my cash assistance, leaving me with only $52 monthly. I am struggling to make ends meet and need assistance. I believe there might be an issue with my EBT card and would appreciate any help to resolve this situation. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Malissa W.

I have been trying to resolve my issue since August and believed it was fixed until I received conflicting information once again. Having not worked since July due to health reasons, I am frustrated by the inconsistencies in my benefits related to vendor payments. Despite submitting all required documents repeatedly, the problem persists. I recently received reassurances but then got a letter stating a different amount for future months. The system still shows income from previous jobs and vendor payments, which is incorrect. I've reached out to various agencies and faced accusations that I'm lying, which is untrue. Tomorrow, I plan to contact the ombudsman and seek legal help through my caseworkers at HUD and Indigent services. As a 60-year-old disabled individual with chronic illnesses, the ongoing confusion and multiple case outcomes since August are difficult to navigate.

I am concerned about possible fraud with my EBT card. Initially, I had $50 and some change, but now my balance shows as zero. I have my receipt from the last purchase, which indicates a discrepancy. Waiting until January 16th without food funds is not an option. I've called multiple numbers, and one had an $88.88 hold time, which is unclear to me. I have tried reaching out six times today, and it's frustrating to not have the option for live customer assistance. The automated system states my available balance is $[redacted], contradicting my recent transaction attempt. This discrepancy leads me to suspect fraudulent activity.

I need help accessing the EBT cardholder portal. My account got locked when I tried to log in. The website tells me to contact customer service, but when I call the number on the card, I can only reach automated services. I cannot find a way to speak to a human representative no matter what buttons I press. How can I actually talk to a real person for assistance with unlocking my account?

I am concerned about having a payee involved in my personal well-being. The situation has escalated beyond what I can handle, and it's causing me a lot of distress. The individual in question seems to have prior knowledge of issues that even involve potential harm. I want someone to handle my finances properly and responsibly, especially when it comes to me and Tracy. They claim to act on my behalf, but there have been attempts to manipulate the situation over a long period. I appreciate the support from a caring individual, but I need clarity and transparency moving forward. I want things to be resolved peacefully and fairly.
