I'm uncertain if this can be fixed, but I'll explain what happened. Today, I was exploring and decided to go for the trophy at the course's end just for fun. Without reading the pop-up warning, I earned the trophy. This action also unlocked trophies for each lesson and many stories. Now, when attempting the XP Ramp Up Challenge, I find most of the vocabulary too difficult, making it hard to understand. I acknowledge that I caused this, but is it possible to revert to the previous state before I unlocked the level one trophy?

I canceled my Duolingo Plus subscription on October 30, [redacted]. Shortly after accidentally renewing and canceling, I was charged $83.88 on November 7, [redacted]. I did not authorize this payment and would like a refund. I am a college student and cannot afford these unexpected charges. I am not interested in keeping the Duolingo Plus features. I am currently using the free trial of Duolingo Plus, which is set to expire on Nov 12, [redacted]. I proceeded to cancel it today, but the system indicates that the cancellation won't take effect until the 12th. I want to ensure that I will not be charged $12.99 on that date. I attempted to reach out via online chat but was directed to a service that charges $5 to speak with a live representative, which seems suspicious. I simply want confirmation that I will not incur the $12.99 charge and have canceled in due time to avoid it.

I have dedicated almost 4 1/2 years to using Duolingo. Despite understanding the necessity of daily hours for effective learning, I feel the program falls short regarding my level of commitment. I have eagerly anticipated new content but seem to only encounter enhanced animated visuals that focus more on cultural representation than language instruction. The repetitive nature of basic phrases like "the fly eats chocolate" persists even after reaching high levels across all topics with 80,[redacted] experience points amassed. Rather than meaningful stories, the latest app addition showcases narratives about animated characters unrelated to language learning. Perhaps these could be better suited for children, with a separate application tailored for adults aimed at language acquisition. Additionally, I urge a revision of the hearts system which penalizes users and hinders extended learning for those unwilling to watch ads. Despite sticking around, the Portuguese program seems stagnant with no advancements in idioms and flirting lessons in over three years. I am sharing my email in the hope of improvement, especially in introducing enriching content to retain learners genuinely focused on language acquisition.

I recently received an email informing me of a failed payment back on November 6. I then visited the website to log out of my account as I wasn't prepared to make that payment. Surprisingly, I was later billed $83.88.
I've been inactive on the platform for several months due to personal issues, and now, being on Disability, I am facing financial struggles because of this error.
I admit I'm not very skilled with technology, so the mishap in canceling my Duolingo subscription might have been on my end.
I kindly ask for a refund as this situation may impact my decision to return in the future. I truly hope to resolve this matter amicably.

I am currently learning both Spanish and French. I have encountered an issue where two specific stories, "The Stranger" in Spanish and "Le Passeport" in French, freeze mid-story, preventing me from progressing to the next set of stories. I am hoping to complete these stories and move on to the next set in each language. If this is something that can be fixed on your end, that would be greatly appreciated. I have been studying Spanish on this platform for over a month and have noticed that the stories have ceased. This online class was promoted as utilizing Duolingo effectively, yet the current content is lacking. I recently gave feedback rating a 1, but it seems like nobody is addressing the issues beyond taking payments. Despite providing feedback, there has been no response regarding the issues on the leaderboards. The lack of communication and improvement, along with the absence of new stories, has led me to seek alternatives. I am prepared to invest in an alternative course that is more committed to teaching a comprehensive curriculum. It is disappointing to see this level of unprofessionalism and content delivery.

ich habe vor Kurzem ein zweiwöchiges Probe-Abo für Duolingo Plus aktiviert. Zum Ende des Probezeitraums sollte ich die Option bekommen, ein reguläres Abo für Duolingo Plus abzuschließen. Jedoch stellte ich fest, dass ohne meine Bestätigung automatisch ein Abo für Duolingo Plus aktiviert wurde, da Google Play versucht hat, die Abogebühr abzubuchen. Vor diesem Zeitpunkt war Duolingo Plus auch nicht in meiner Aboliste bei Google Play aufgeführt, daher hatte ich keine Möglichkeit, das Abo zu kündigen. Ich habe kein Interesse an einem langfristigen Abo für Duolingo Plus und frage mich, warum ich keine Benachrichtigung vor Ablauf des Probezeitraums erhalten habe. Wie kann ich dieses Problem lösen?

As a student, unexpected payments of over [redacted] dollars are a burden for me. I initially signed up for a free one-month trial of Duolingo and unintentionally continued the subscription for a full year, which resulted in a substantial charge. I am requesting a refund for 10 to 11 months of the annual fee, considering that I have only used the service for a brief period after the trial ended. This would amount to approximately 70 dollars. I am currently studying English using Duolingo. I have noticed that there are some translation errors in the tasks. For example, the phrase "He had a ball, he have a box" is currently translated as "Он имел мяч, он имеет коробку" which in Russian has a vulgar meaning. The correct translation should be "У него был мяч, у него есть коробка." I have seen several comments pointing out this mistake, but unfortunately, the administrators have not addressed it. When I tried to bring it up, I received a rude response and my comments were rejected. It seems like many comments have been deleted too. I find this behavior discriminatory and disrespectful towards the Russian language.

My grandson, Joey L., used my credit card to enroll in the Italian language course. He mentioned the cost was around $10 monthly. However, I was surprised to see a charge of about $84 today. This is not acceptable. I have already reached out to my credit card company to dispute the charge and request a refund. They mentioned I have to wait for it to officially post, which may take a few days. I urge you to avoid this process altogether by canceling the charge and refunding the $84 promptly. I am currently studying Chinese and Hungarian. I believe it would greatly benefit the Hungarian modules to have more repetition similar to the Chinese modules. The pronunciation of Hungarian words should be spoken more slowly, especially in the more challenging lessons. I have noticed that some words only appear once in the lessons, and there are frames where no audio is provided. Having auditory and visual cues together is incredibly beneficial for learning. Therefore, I suggest making the Hungarian module more user-friendly by mirroring the structure of the Chinese module. Additionally, I encountered a skills test requiring me to write in Hungarian without prior practice in the lessons. Your attention to these matters is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I find your new system quite frustrating. I have previously raised this issue without any feedback. The 5 lives game mode is not to my liking. There's an issue where if I click on it with less than 5 lives, it doesn't acknowledge my previous activity, causing my streak freeze to be used up, requiring me to purchase again. This needs to be rectified as it seems unfair. I'm also stuck in the leagues because I run out of lives, and I refuse to make any purchases. This new system that forces us to upgrade is not something I am willing to do. If I don't receive a response this time, I will uninstall your app. Regardless of your concerns, I will rate it poorly.

I recently took the proficiency test on Saturday. Unfortunately, the test was not certified due to low volume. I will need to retake it. However, I realized that there was no option for me to input my university email address, which is required for the results to be valid. The test results need to be sent directly to the institution from Duolingo. Could you please advise me on where I should enter this information when I retake the test?
