I called to ask a simple question regarding certain candles. However, the lady at the Dollar Tree on Broadway in Tucson, Arizona, displayed a negative attitude before I could even finish speaking. I prefer using the speakerphone, and while explaining what I was looking for, she rudely asked me to speak up, claiming she couldn't hear me as she was busy checking out customers. I repeated my request twice, but she still didn't understand, responding with impoliteness each time. She misconstrued my description as something that cost $2.16, emphasizing it was a Dollar Tree. Her tone was completely unnecessary, and I felt compelled to respond in kind before disconnecting the call. As someone with customer service experience, I believe she could have handled the situation more professionally by asking for clarification politely, putting me on hold, or involving another staff member if needed. Her behavior was unacceptable, and I hope this feedback leads to better customer interactions in the future.

Good evening. My name is Victor. Unfortunately, when I went to the store to buy some products, I noticed that the pills I purchased were expired. I am thankful to God that I checked before taking them. I wanted to reach out to you first to suggest implementing stricter measures when it comes to expired products, especially if they can pose a risk to people's health if consumed.

While shopping at the Dollar Tree in Madera, CA, I had an unpleasant encounter with a Mexican-American employee. She had long black hair and possibly was pregnant. While I was browsing the makeup aisle, she was closely behind me with a basket, making it difficult for me to move freely due to my disability stemming from a past accident. I accidentally dropped a few items into my large purse, which was in the front child seat area. When the employee noticed, she insisted I remove them, implying I was trying to steal. I found her behavior rude, especially considering my physical challenges. I felt unjustly accused and taken aback by her lack of empathy. Despite needing some last-minute items on Christmas Eve, I am hesitant to return to this particular Dollar Tree branch because of this negative experience.

First and foremost, I want to express my appreciation for the Dollar Tree at [redacted] East Ashlan Fresno CA [redacted] for maintaining a clean store interior. It is one of the better Dollar Tree locations in the area. I also wish to bring to the attention of the appropriate individuals that I have raised concerns about the unsightly garbage area on the north side of the building. Despite informing multiple employees and two managers since July [redacted], the situation has not improved and continues to deteriorate. The response that "it is not the manager's responsibility to maintain the outer appearance" is unacceptable. The clutter not only mars the store's appearance but also obstructs parking spaces and poses a safety hazard due to trash, boxes, and other debris scattered around the area. This impediment affects the store's deliveries and hinders safe passage through the drive-thru lanes. I urge for swift action to rectify this situation and enhance the cleanliness of our neighborhood.

The behavior of the manager at the Dollar Tree in Arkansas City, Kansas, was unprofessional. Angelina, the manager, has been seen on multiple occasions talking on her cell phone during transactions. During my recent visit, I noticed a young child helping provide change at the register. When I inquired if it was "take your daughter to work day," the cashier responded that she didn't want to take her to daycare. Furthermore, the child instructed another employee to clean up a mess and then claimed to be the only boss there when asked who the boss was. This experience was unacceptable, and I choose not to return to this location. I have retail management experience and believe such behavior should not be tolerated.

Good morning! I visited the Dollar Tree on Oxon Hill Rd this morning. The cashier, Jasmine, asked me to return my shopping basket to the front. I'm curious if this is a new store or Dollar Tree policy as I noticed a basket area at the front already. I don't mind complying, but working at Giant Food, I haven't encountered this practice elsewhere. Thank you for your attention.

During my visit to the DT in Pascagoula, MS, I witnessed two young ladies entering the store using extremely offensive language loudly. Despite the store manager being in the office, they did not address the situation. I was with my elderly mother and grandchild, and we were all very embarrassed. The cashier line was long, and instead of assisting with checking out, the manager reprimanded a cashier publicly for a trivial matter. In my opinion, he handled the situation poorly by berating the staff member in front of customers. If this is the standard of management at DT, they should consider replacing him as he was extremely impolite and unprofessional.

The experience at the Venice, Florida location was disappointing on multiple occasions. During a visit just before closing, at 8:55, the staff initially refused entry despite the store still being open, causing unnecessary rudeness. On another instance, arriving at 6:57 before the 7:00 closing time, I encountered resistance from an employee who incorrectly claimed the store was closed. This may have resulted in missing items and a confrontational checkout process. Subsequent visits at 8:52 were met with unwelcoming remarks from the manager, emphasizing strict closing times over accommodating the last-minute customer needs. The encounter with Veronica, who was abrasive, contrasts with the more amiable Lana. The consistent poor service and disrespectful attitude towards customers, demonstrated by the manager's retort of "pick your battles," highlight evident management and customer service issues that need addressing. The situation calls for improvement to avoid alienating patrons like me who seek better treatment and efficiency.

I shopped at your store on Oakland Street in Indiana, PA, Unit #[redacted] today and was disappointed to find the shelves almost empty. I inquired about the situation and was told there was a lack of help and they were unable to restock. This has been an ongoing issue for several months, with shelves consistently bare. The cleaning shelves only had a few bottles of product, and the health section was also poorly stocked. This store's inventory is less than what I have seen in closed stores. I may need to drive 26 miles to another store in Punxsutwaney for my purchases if this situation persists. It seems urgent that this store receives immediate attention; it either needs to be restocked adequately or consider closure. I hope to see improvements soon, as I prefer shopping at your store. Thank you, Dr. J.

I am a 76-year-old who avoids driving and has been a loyal Dollar Tree customer. Recently, I visited the Inverness, Fl store and encountered an issue with missing items and a duplicate charge. When I brought this up with the manager, Shannon, she seemed dismissive and unhelpful. Shannon blamed me for the missing items and the double charge, insisting that it was too late to resolve the issue. Her lack of customer service and professionalism left me feeling disrespected and unappreciated. Despite the excellent service from other employees, Shannon's behavior has made me consider shopping elsewhere. I hope Dollar Tree can provide better training in customer service, especially for employees like Shannon, to ensure customers feel valued and respected.

I have been a loyal customer of Dollar Tree for many years and I appreciate the products and prices at your store. The employees at most locations are diligent, friendly, and efficient. However, I must mention a concerning experience at the Santa Ana store with a particular male employee on Wednesdays. It seems he leaves only one cashier to handle long lines while he wanders the aisles leisurely, creating a frustrating shopping experience. The overall workplace environment in Dollar Tree stores seems to be stressful and understaffed. As someone who works in a law firm and is a mystery shopper, I have noticed this issue across California locations. Comparatively, other stores like 99 treat their employees with more respect and kindness. I urge Dollar Tree management to address these concerns and create a better work environment for all employees.

I am reaching out to request a change back to the previous page layout for the pocket-sized [redacted] Planner for next year. The bar code numbers are: 6 39[redacted]8 2 and below that: [redacted]. The new design has reduced writing spaces on weekends and replaced the white space with small monthly calendars. The previous layout was more functional for noting activities on weekends. While the change to Notes pages at the back was appreciated, the current layout is not as effective for me. I value your consideration of this feedback. I encountered an issue with the customer service form on your website, where after over 10 minutes, the submission button continued to spin without completion. The functionality of the customer service page seems to be faulty.

I frequently visit your store at [redacted] Bridgeport Way W., University Place, WA, as I reside in the area. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. However, during my recent visit, an employee named Nakia, identified as management, wasn't as welcoming. She processed my purchase without much interaction, simply stating the total, showed no interest in providing a bag, and proceeded to the next customer without acknowledging them. This behavior is concerning, and if this is the new standard of customer service, I may have to reconsider shopping at your store. It's disheartening that a managerial staff member lacks basic customer service skills. I hope you address this issue promptly. Thank you.

During my recent visit to your store on Saticoy and San Pablo, I was subjected to racial profiling by the manager, Alex. I was asked to show the contents of my bag, which I found disrespectful. I chose not to leave my bag unattended due to concerns both for security and public health. While I understand the importance of preventing theft, I was troubled to see that Alex did not check the bag of a white customer who entered after me. As an African-American customer, I felt unfairly targeted. I question the impact of such practices on customer loyalty and wonder if I should shop elsewhere, like at 99.

I needed some last-minute items from Dollar Tree for an event at work. After checking the hours of the closest locations online, I saw that they would be open until 10:00 PM. Unfortunately, the first Dollar Tree I went to was closed. I looked up another location on the website, also showing a closing time of 10:00 PM, so I went there. I was greatly upset and disappointed when I arrived, only to find it closed as well. By the time I got home, I had spent 45 minutes to an hour running around trying to go to Dollar Tree based on the hours posted online. This experience was not only a waste of time and gas but also left me feeling frustrated and disappointed.

The Dollar Tree store in Vidalia, Georgia has drastically deteriorated in the past few months. The store is now in disarray, with empty shelves and merchandise blocking aisles. There are potential hazards for customers, such as items left in aisles. The store appears vandalized, and the manager seems uninvolved, merely talking to employees. The community takes pride in having a Dollar Tree but is disappointed in the current state of the store. It is important to investigate and address these issues promptly. If necessary, I can provide pictures I took during my recent visit to illustrate the situation better.

A visit from the corporate office is necessary at the Jefferson City, Missouri store. The place is dirty, with trash scattered in every aisle and many bare shelves. It seems like the supposed managers are unfit for their roles. During my shopping, there was only one register open with a cashier named 'Betty' who repeatedly called for assistance due to the long lines. Sadly, two young men, possibly the managers, mocked her openly in front of the customers, which was disrespectful. The overall state of the store is appalling, resembling a neglected gas station restroom. There is also a terrible smell at the back of the store that needs to be addressed.

During my recent visit to your Devine, TX store, I experienced extremely poor customer service from the Assistant Manager, Leticia. She closed the store 20 minutes early and selectively allowed entry to customers based on their ethnicity. When I confronted her, she dismissed me and even threatened to involve the police. After discussing the situation with her manager, Velma, it became evident that Leticia's behavior was unwarranted. I believe her actions were discriminatory, unprofessional, and lacked consistency. I urge you to read the Google reviews about this store where Leticia's management skills are frequently criticized. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

There is a relatively new Dollar Tree store in Farmingdale, New York, on Route [redacted], which opened last summer. However, in February, the state of the store was quite disappointing. Product boxes clutter the aisles, broken cardboard boxes are scattered, and overall, the store looks unsanitary. During my visit, with only two customers and two staff members at the registers, I spoke to the manager about the store's condition. Unfortunately, the manager seemed uninterested in addressing the mess or seeking a solution. It was disheartening that the manager showed no urgency in rectifying the situation after learning I wasn't from Dollar Tree. This lack of concern makes me question the competence of the manager. If Dollar Tree doesn't already have personnel overseeing store maintenance, I am willing to offer my services as I frequently travel and find the store's condition unacceptable.

Store # [redacted] in Union, NJ. I interacted with Sales Associate Shawe or Shawnell on 2/21/20 at 13:57. I believe the associate would benefit from more training. Despite my respectful behavior, I found the associate's attitude lacking. In particular, they instructed me to place an item on the ramp without using courteous language and failed to smile or express gratitude during checkout. I was disappointed by the lack of basic politeness such as saying "please" and "thank you." If all employees behaved similarly, I would consider shopping at another Dollar store or Walmart for better customer service.
