I am wondering if I can rent from your outlets with my Chinese driver's license, accompanied by its translation and my passport. While on vacation in Tampa FL, I rented a car and unfortunately, the air conditioning stopped working. After contacting customer service, I was instructed to drive the car back to the Jacksonville airport location, which was inconveniently an hour from my current location. Despite being given a case number over the phone, the staff at the airport were unhelpful and rude, with the lady at the counter refusing to acknowledge the provided number. Despite being promised an upgrade by the phone representative, the onsite staff denied this request, insisting we take a car from their limited selection even though the parking garage was full of vehicles.

I recently made a car reservation for July 1-9 via Expedia, prepaying for it. Sadly, I lost my driver's license when a friend mistakenly threw it away, making it impossible to cancel the booking. I attempted to use a photo of my license stored on my phone, but it was not accepted when I tried to pick up the car. I then tried to add my friend as a driver, but was directed to contact Expedia by the rental attendant. I recently experienced an issue trying to rent a car despite having a reservation in place. The situation escalated when the agent incorrectly accused me of being racist, and the supervisor ultimately canceled my booking. I had initially requested the reservation cancellation due to a 1.5 to 2-hour wait time. However, I am now being charged for the cancellation. I can provide evidence that I attempted to rent a car from Budget during the same time frame. I am disappointed by this turn of events, and if the matter is not resolved, I will seek legal assistance. I have concerns about being billed for a service I did not receive, especially after the supervisor, Morton, took responsibility for canceling my reservation. I am eager to be refunded for the cancellation fee.

We made a car reservation in April with Dollar Rent a Car, which we picked up on 06/24 at the Los Angeles airport office, and returned on 07/01.
We opted for the highest insurance coverage, but we are puzzled by a charge of [redacted] euros that appeared recently. Additionally, we do not understand why there is a $98 gasoline charge since we had full insurance coverage.

I rented a car in scorching Las Vegas for two days. At the pickup, they pushed me to upgrade from the "manager special" I booked to a mystery car. Upon waiting for 25 minutes, two guys in a smoky car arrived, and the stench was overwhelming during my 20-mile journey. I reserved a rental car from Dollar through the Ryanair website to pick up at Shannon Airport. Upon arrival, I was denied the car because I didn't have my credit card. Despite offering to pay the increased insurance with my debit card, the staff refused. This was upsetting as I was late for a funeral. I was assured a refund of £57.62, but I haven't received it yet. I am eager to get my money back promptly.

I was very disappointed with the process and wait time at Dollar Rental. It took me 2.5 hours to receive my car. The service was extremely disorganized, and the outside pick-up of the car took an additional 45 minutes. In total, it took over 3 hours to get the car. The reservation numbers for my experience on 9/9 at Dollar Car Rental at Lihue Airport were K[redacted] and K[redacted]1f9. On top of the wait time, I had no choice but to take a larger car as it would have taken longer to get the original car I had reserved, resulting in additional costs.

On September 20th, [redacted], my husband and I arrived at Tampa International Airport and picked up our midsize SUV rental. To our surprise, the stereo was blasting a Christian station at full volume, and we couldn't figure out how to turn it off in the unfamiliar car. As a [redacted]% Service Connected Disabled Veteran who served with the 82nd Airborne Division, this was distressing for my husband. We sought help from an employee named Gabriel, who was unhelpful and even sarcastic. Despite our request to change the language settings from Spanish to English, Gabriel was dismissive and made jokes at our expense. We eventually requested a different car, which Gabriel begrudgingly arranged, showing a lack of professionalism and disrespect throughout the whole ordeal. Our rental number is #[redacted] for verification. We are extremely disappointed with the treatment we received from Gabriel and will likely not choose Dollar for rentals in the future. We hope for compensation for the distress caused by this unfortunate experience.

On the 15th, I returned the rental car at Orlando International Airport and noticed a charge of $[redacted].86 for premium emergency roadside services that I did not authorize when I rented the car. I brought this to the attention of the representative at the Dollar desk, who assured me it would be refunded to my account. It has been two weeks, and the refund has not been processed. Additionally, I was not informed that toll charges were per day rather than only when used. I would appreciate an update on when the refund will be issued.

I was informed no cars were available and was told it would take an hour and a half to get one. When I inquired about a different car, they offered one immediately for an additional $90. I am requesting a refund for this charge. Additionally, I was informed I needed to pay $15 a day, totaling $45, for a transponder. Upon hesitating due to uncertain toll expenses, they pressured me into it. I am seeking a refund for the $45. They also insisted I buy gasoline from Dollar rental outside the airport at over $6 a gallon, despite my refusal twice. I want this charge removed. As a senior over 70, I waited over an hour in a crowded area without enough agents and no social distancing. I am requesting a full refund for the entire rental.
