I am experiencing a frustrating situation with Discord. My account, vRecluse#[redacted], was hacked on the night of April 1st to April 2nd, [redacted]. The hacker gained access by compromising my email address, [redacted], which is linked to my Discord account. They changed both my email address and password, leaving me locked out of my account. I have been in contact with Discord support for three months, but unfortunately, they have not been able to resolve the issue. I am feeling stuck in a cycle with their customer service and would greatly appreciate any assistance you can provide in helping me regain access to my Discord account.

A few weeks ago an account was created at MTSU Esports with the tag #[redacted] ([redacted]) for the college's Esports Club. This account was established for the club's technical needs and is not under my ownership. While setting up a Discord Bot unrelated to my personal account, the system prompted me to enable 2FA.
Upon enabling 2FA and linking my phone number, I later discovered a phone number can only be associated with one account, resulting in it being removed from my primary personal account. Despite my attempts to resolve this by removing the number from @MTSU Esports, it locked me out, displaying an error message "Something's Going on Here" and requesting phone verification - despite the phone number and 2FA being removed.
I have been corresponding with a Discord support representative for more than a week, seeking assistance with no success. With only one phone number available, I am unable to verify @MTSU Esports without removing my phone number from my main account.

I have been using Discord for three years, and I am familiar with the Terms of Service, but I do not know everything. On 8/11/[redacted], my Discord account was terminated for being "involved in activity related to malicious hacking, fraud, account or credit card cracking, and/or attempting to damage a computer network or machine." I joined a server unaware that it was used for hacking, assuming it was a friendly community chat due to its large number of members. I interacted in the chat once and never engaged with it again. I am confused about why my account was terminated since I was not involved in any hacking or damaging activities. I joined the server because a friend invited me, not to engage in hacking. I solely used Discord for communication through text and voice, maintaining my account for years, so being banned under these circumstances is very upsetting. I am requesting to have my account reinstated as I was wrongfully banned. If not, I may escalate this for further investigation. I am deeply puzzled by the ban and would appreciate a human response regarding this issue. Thank you.

When I accepted an invite to a new server, a new Discord account was created automatically for me. I didn't realize this and entered my phone number for verification. Now my real/main account and the new account are both flagged as suspicious. I'm struggling to regain control of my original account. I attempted to remove my phone number from the accidental account, but it's not allowing me to. The new account is also refusing to accept my phone number, stating it has been recently used elsewhere.

I need assistance from Discord to change my account back as I urgently need to use it. I was recently scammed in the "I accidentally reported your account" scheme, and unfortunately, I fell for it. There is valuable data on my account that I require access to. Although a staff member mentioned they would escalate the issue to their team, it has been two weeks since their response, and I have yet to receive any assistance. The scammer is actively using my account every day to target my friends on Discord. If they fail to scam someone, they are blocking them, all under my account.

I recently faced a ban on my Discord account due to a misunderstanding of the rules. As someone with ADHD, I struggled to comprehend the lengthy guidelines and overlooked the prohibition against spambotting. This mistake resulted in losing access to my account, which held sentimental value as my primary way of staying in touch with friends and managing a personal server I've maintained for three years. The thought of losing three years' worth of memories is distressing, especially since I have difficulty parting with things. I hope to regain access, even temporarily, to backup important information. Unfortunately, Discord's lack of direct human support makes resolving this issue challenging.

I received a program from a hacker posing as a friend, named "Camp_Project_SOLVED", under the guise of a game they were developing. Upon opening it, my Discord information was stolen, and my account credentials were changed, locking me out. I have taken steps to cancel payments to Boost and have had my friends report the account to prevent further problems. However, I am eager to regain access to my account as it holds sentimental value with all my friends being there.

I recently submitted a report about a discord server containing inappropriate content. I provided evidence to Discord, but to my surprise, my account was banned shortly after. I have been a longtime user of the app and have never violated any terms before. I value my contacts on the platform and am disappointed by the lack of explanation provided for the ban. Despite being thanked for the report, my account was disabled without a clear reason stated other than a generic message.
I want to emphasize that I reported the issue out of concern and acted before being banned. It is disheartening to be left in this situation after trying to do the right thing. A few days ago, I noticed that my Discord account was sending messages advertising a "Free Nitro Giveaway" to all my friends and servers without my knowledge. Despite deleting the messages, they kept reappearing. Concerned, I changed my password and logged out. Recently, I received an email from the Discord Team informing me my account was deactivated. Over the past five years, he has stored important data from high school, college, work, and internships, as well as personal entertainment content on his account. Recently, his account was hacked, potentially due to clicking on a suspicious link, leading to the account being blocked.

My friend is experiencing difficulties with their disabled Discord account after it was hijacked by a hacker who spammed a Discord server. Despite multiple attempts to reach out to Discord by opening tickets, they keep receiving automated messages indicating their account could be permanently deleted due to server spam. Repeated ticket submissions have only led to the same automated response, with no human contact to assist their case. This account, held for years with a paid Nitro subscription, faces potential loss without access to servers and friends. Losing participation points and benefits in these communities is also a concern. The paid Nitro subscription could go to waste, leaving my friend feeling quite frustrated. This morning, a few hours ago, while I was active on a Discord channel, someone sent me a link. After clicking on it, I got disconnected and received an email from Discord stating that my account has been disabled without any explanation. I am certain that I have not violated any rules as I have always been helpful and friendly in various communities.
I believe this occurred after I clicked on a direct message inviting me to join an NFT project channel from a user named "iwanttobeabillionaire." You can verify this by checking my DMs on Discord.

I am seeking assistance in recovering my Discord account (linked with the email [redacted]) as it got disabled following a hacking incident. About a day ago, I received an email alerting me that an unknown individual from Russia (a country I do not reside in) was trying to access my account. Despite this warning, I continued using Discord. I began noticing strange activities like being in unfamiliar servers and sending messages to unknown individuals. Realizing I might have been hacked, I planned to address it later due to being busy. However, the next day, I found my account disabled by Discord. An email claimed I violated TOS rules related to spam/platform misuse, though it was due to unauthorized access.

On the morning of Monday, October 18, my account was disabled unexpectedly. I discovered this after checking my phone and email. The reason for this was due to a hacker from Russia accessing my account. The hacker used my account to send fake Nitro links to various servers and friends, resulting in Discord disabling my account. Unfortunately, despite my efforts to contact support multiple times providing explanations and proof, I have received no assistance. On November 11, [redacted], my Discord account linked to [redacted] was unexpectedly disabled for allegedly posting underage material, which I strongly deny. I rarely share NSFW content and never underage material. If any inappropriate content was posted in a server I was part of, it's likely I wasn't actively involved as I haven't been active in most servers for months. I am willing to provide any necessary proof to resolve this issue. I believe a human review of my activities will show that I am innocent of these accusations. I deeply regret this situation and will be more cautious about the servers I engage with moving forward. My Discord account holds sentimental value as a means of staying connected with loved ones, particularly during the challenges of lockdowns and isolation. Hello Discord, I currently face an issue with my two accounts using one phone number. Upon attempting to log in, I received a message asking me to verify my account due to some unusual activity. I inputted my phone number which then prompted me to enter a six-digit code. Afterwards, I entered my password, only to be informed that the phone number was linked to another account. I tried removing the number from the other account on my phone but got locked out with the same problem. Both accounts now trigger the same message about unusual activity, and I am unable to proceed. I contacted support, and they said they won't restore my account even though I didn't break any rules. I really need my account back as it holds my life and all my friends.
