Hello,
I encountered a major issue when trying to open an account yesterday (Friday, August 30). As I began the process for the first time, the system notified me that there was already an account associated with an email address I have never used before. I am perplexed as to whose email it could be linked to. The email address mentioned in the alert was [redacted] I kindly request for this matter to be investigated promptly and a response provided at your earliest convenience.
Thank you,
Darla F.

Hello, I'm a Credit Karma customer and I'm concerned about my recent credit score drop from [redacted] to [redacted]. Despite paying my auto loan and two credit cards on time and more than the minimum amount, my score has decreased unexpectedly. I have never had any late payments on these accounts. I'm seeking assistance from someone at Credit Karma to clarify the reasons behind this significant drop in my credit score. I believe there must be an error as I have been diligent in managing my finances. I would appreciate any help in understanding this situation and restoring my credit score to its prior level. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Best,
Michael M.

I recently received an email regarding my credit score, and to my surprise, it had dropped by 45 points. This came as a shock as I have been diligently working to improve my scores. Upon further investigation, I discovered that a $48 charge from Sam's Club was the reason for the decrease. I had received an unexpected bill on my Sam's Club credit card with a balance of $48, which I had not authorized as I hadn't used the card. After contacting Sam's Club, I found out that my yearly membership fee had been charged to my card by mistake and was promptly removed. This was due to an employee tactic to earn extra points for signing customers up for automatic renewal, despite my refusal to do so. While the issue was resolved with Sam's Club, my concern is restoring the 45 points to my Equifax score. I believe it is unfair for me to suffer the consequences of a mistake I didn't make. Despite discussions with Equifax, they maintained that their scoring system is independent. I seek assistance in rectifying this situation. Thank you, Lori Siracuse Argentieri.

I recently lost my phone with all my important information, including my Credit Karma account password linked to the email [redacted] Since I no longer have access to the email due to the lost phone, I'm unable to reset the password. I've been trying to log in to my Credit Karma account without success. I can't remember the old email password, so I can't receive a password reset. Could you please assist me in retrieving my Password as my Credit Karma account is linked to the old email address? Feel free to contact me at [redacted] for further assistance.

My Equifax credit score decreased from [redacted] to [redacted] and my Transunion score decreased from [redacted] to [redacted]. I was informed that my Capital One credit card limits were reduced by $[redacted] each, but after checking with the bank, they confirmed that the limits remain the same. Your records indicated a credit limit decrease between August 19, [redacted], and February 24, [redacted], for both cards, but this information is inaccurate. Please review and correct this misinformation with Equifax and Transunion as soon as possible. There have been no negative changes, and my scores should be at least [redacted] or higher for Transunion and [redacted] or higher for Equifax.

My credit score dropped by 1 point on Transunion and 4 points on Equifax. This decrease is due to my mortgage balance allegedly increasing by $[redacted], which is inaccurate. I made my mortgage payment on 8-31-19, and it was processed on 9-03-19, including an extra $50 towards the principal. I confirmed this with the bank on 9-09-[redacted] at 10 am. My payment is due on the 1st of each month, with a 10-day grace period at State Bank of the Lakes, which I followed. Please restore my credit scores to their previous levels before this error.

I checked my credit karma score this morning and noticed a hard inquiry on September 4th from Verizon Wireless. I contacted Verizon, and they denied making the request. I spoke with the fraud department and the landline department to investigate this matter further. I did not request any services or upgrades, so I am baffled by this unauthorized inquiry that negatively impacted my credit score. I need to understand how this happened and who is responsible for this inquiry since Verizon denies any involvement. I am frustrated by this situation and keen to resolve it promptly.

I'm having trouble logging in. The link provided is not working for me. The site doesn't accept my birth year or the last 4 digits of my social security number. I have been attempting to log in since around 1:30 PM with no success. It seems like the support team might be unavailable as none of the options provided are working. I have had three people with me for the past hour, and I am confident that I am entering the correct information. How can I get assistance with logging in?

I have a student loan forbearance due to my income, which means I am not being charged. My account has been up to date for 6 months. However, I noticed that I am still being charged interest, which is impacting my credit score. After speaking to the student loan service, they confirmed that accounts in forbearance should not have interest reported. This discrepancy has caused my credit score to drop by 43 to 46 points. It seems like Credit Karma is inaccurately reporting this information. I kindly request for this to be resolved as it has significantly affected my credit score, which was almost at 6. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I am reaching out for assistance on behalf of my daughter to access her account. We followed Credit Karma's procedure to retrieve the forgotten email linked to the account, but upon attempting to log in with the provided email, we encountered an error message stating it was incorrect. Additionally, we tried to reset the password without success as the one on file is unknown. Despite my daughter's email explaining the situation, the response received was not very helpful. We are seeking guidance on the necessary steps to rectify this issue and regain access to the account for viewing. How can the email address discrepancy be addressed, and could someone verify or correct the email associated with the account? Your prompt assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. I have included her email address for communication purposes to facilitate the resolution process. Thank you.

I received notifications of missed payments on my Care Credit account. I have been battling with them for three years and even had to involve the Better Business Bureau. Care Credit is an exploitative card company that preys on individuals in need. I was compelled to apply for credit through them by the University of Pennsylvania's Dental College when I sought dental treatment due to financial constraints from being on Social Security Disability. Despite making payments on time, the amount owed constantly increased due to hidden fees and penalties. My lawyer confirmed that Care Credit is predatory, continuously increasing the debt even with regular payments. Other credit cards would have been mostly paid off by now, unlike my Care Credit account that kept accumulating fees. I have decided to stop paying them as suggested by my lawyer. If you have any advice on how to remove this negative mark from my credit report, I would greatly appreciate your assistance. I refuse to give any more money to Care Credit and hope others in similar situations can avoid their tactics.

There seems to be an error with the birthday on my account. When I logged in, it showed my mother's birthday instead of mine. I believe this might be due to past instances where my mother used my social security number. My name is Alexis Giblin, born on April 3rd, [redacted], making me 19 years old. Could you please correct this by updating my birth date on the account to match my social security number? Thank you for your assistance.

Credit Karma offers a tool that suggests suitable credit card options based on your credit score. It provides a range of options and a meter to gauge approval likelihood. Despite applying, I received a rejection without a clear reason. A Capital One representative stated that Credit Karma does not process Capital One card applications. I am unsure about disputing the recent inquiry to remove it from my credit report. I am seeking guidance on the necessary steps to dispute the inquiry or clarification on why I was declined for a credit card approval.

I am feeling very frustrated and upset. I am 76 years old and not very good with computers. I used to enjoy checking my credit scores when you emailed them to me. However, after installing iOS 13 last night, everything has gone wrong. The app now tells me that my email and password are incorrect even though I haven't changed them. Furthermore, I am receiving information that I didn't ask for, and I can't access the information that I used to. This situation is so complicated and frustrating that I am considering deleting your app and ignoring your emails in the future. It used to be simple, but now it seems overly complicated.

I initially had a 5** credit score until a collection agency claimed I owed $***.**. Credit Karma suggested paying it off in full could increase my score by 25+. Wanting to boost my score, I paid it. Two weeks later, I received an email to check my new score, only to discover it was now N/A. I suspect Credit Karma may not be trustworthy, potentially benefiting from consumers paying collection agencies. When I reached out about my score to secured credit card companies, they only sent offers without addressing my concern. It's disheartening as before Credit Karma, Experian indicated my score was [redacted], yet they asked for my driver's license to verify my identity. In my view, these companies seem more focused on profiting than genuinely helping consumers.

I recently logged into my credit report and noticed that I can view everything except my accounts. I was shocked to see a message stating, "Your accounts don't report to this credit bureau." I am puzzled as to why my accounts have suddenly disappeared. Strangely, when I checked my husband's account, his information was still intact. Can anyone clarify what this means and why this has occurred? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help.

I recently applied for a loan on your website. During the application process, I was asked about my income before taxes. As a sole proprietor, my gross income is higher due to reinvesting in my business. The loan was pre-approved, but after submitting all required information, I learned that it was based on my net income, not gross as initially suggested. This miscommunication led me to feel frustrated and disappointed. I have requested to cancel my application. I want to bring this to your attention as I discovered LendingClub through your website. I am unsure if this practice is common with companies you recommend. I appreciate your assistance and hope for guidance in the future. Thank you for your time.

On September 19, [redacted], someone - not me - applied for a loan with Marcus by Goldman Sachs through CreditKarma.com. After contacting Goldman Sachs and informing them of the breach, they stated that they are unable to take any action since the application was done through Credit Karma. I emphasized the seriousness of the situation, mentioning that if a loan is approved using my personal information without my consent, I will pursue legal action against all involved parties. I urge immediate action to prevent further unauthorized activities. It is crucial to put my information on red alert and verify with me before processing any loan applications originating from Credit Karma. Rest assured, I will escalate this matter on social media and consider involving the news media if necessary. I request proactive measures to ensure my identity is protected from any unauthorized loan applications or communications.
