I reside in a 3 bedroom apartment close to MSU's campus. A former roommate moved out last December, and our utility bill surged unexpectedly over the past 3 months. Despite maintaining the thermostat at 65 degrees and being mindful of unnecessary lighting, we recently had maintenance inspect our apartment. They discovered the closet light in the departed roommate's room was inadvertently left on by the cleaning service and had been illuminated for 3 consecutive months. Unfortunately, we were unaware of this situation due to lack of access to the room. When we brought this to the attention of the leasing office to request an adjustment for the increased bill caused by the cleaning staff leaving the light on, they mentioned that a fluorescent light consumes minimal energy and should not significantly impact our expenses. However, I am curious to know if leaving a fluorescent light on continuously for 3 months could indeed lead to a notable increase in our energy costs.

Tonight at 5:45 pm, I called regarding my bill query but got disconnected while waiting. Despite being transferred to a Manager and then another department, once I reached the correct department, they claimed it was past 6:00 pm and couldn't assist with billing. Even though I called before the cutoff time, they were unhelpful and suggested calling back the next day before 6:00 pm. Instead of resolving my issue, they abruptly ended the call. This experience highlights poor customer service.

Last Friday, I had an unfortunate incident with two of your boom trucks getting buried in my driveway. Despite explaining the urgency of the situation due to my husband's limited mobility and the bad weather, there were complications with getting the trucks unstuck. This resulted in significant damage to the driveway and made it impassable for my Volvo. After much waiting and difficulty, one kind gentleman finally assisted in getting my husband to safety, highlighting his vulnerability. The promise of notifying the necessary authorities about our predicament was made, with an expectation of assistance by Monday or Tuesday. However, a week has passed without any resolution, leaving us stranded and facing numerous challenges. This prolonged delay is causing immense inconvenience, forcing us to postpone essential appointments and incur additional expenses. The state of our driveway and the potential damage to my car require immediate attention, along with addressing the impact on my husband's health and our safety. Subject: Report of Street Light Malfunction and Overhanging Tree Branches Hello, I observed the street light near [redacted] Dorey Drive in Bay City, Michigan, intermittently turning off for about 10 seconds before coming back on last night around 11 pm. This has happened a few times and may indicate a need for a bulb replacement or repair of the light sensor. I urge you to inspect this street light for any issues. Additionally, there are tree branches encroaching on and crossing over the street light wire. Approximately three years ago, we noticed sparks falling from the wire onto our driveway due to windy conditions causing the branches to press against it.
