On September 12, [redacted], around 7 p.m., I visited the Checkers drive-thru at store #[redacted]. I purchased 6 Checker Burgers with cheese, 4 large fries, and 4 medium sweet teas. Upon arriving home, which is 30 minutes away, I discovered that 2 Checker Burgers and a large fry were missing, and there was no receipt in the bag. Despite trying to contact the store multiple times, no one answered the phone. The next day, September 13, [redacted], at 11 a.m., I returned to the store and spoke with a manager named Liz. Unfortunately, she was disrespectful and refused to replace the missing items that I had paid for in cash. It is disappointing to have paid for items that were not received. I am requesting the missing burgers and fries to be replaced, and I would appreciate an apology from Liz for her unprofessional behavior. Thank you. - Marsha R.

I placed an order for $36 worth of food and specifically requested fresh items. The staff confirmed they would provide that. However, when I arrived at the window, I saw the manager using previously fried food to prepare my order. I informed the manager that it was not fresh as I had requested, but my concerns were not addressed. Instead, they proceeded to ask for payment. Although I considered leaving, I stayed. Overall, I feel this store requires new management and employees who can offer better customer service.

I recently experienced poor customer service at a Rally's Checkers store. The employees seemed uneducated and lacked basic communication skills while interacting with the public. Despite politely addressing my concerns about getting wet with my window down, I was met with a dismissive attitude. Coming from California where these stores are not common, I found the service at this location appalling. As someone who taught for 50 years and encountered various challenges, I believe everyone deserves respect, including in customer service. This experience was a stark reminder of the importance of professionalism when dealing with customers.

My wife and I, Jeffery Brown, visited the Checkers on Marine Blvd in Jacksonville, NC today. We arrived just after 11 am and used the drive-thru. Despite the posted opening hours being 11 am, we were informed that they were not yet open. When my wife inquired about their opening time, she was rudely told they would open when they were finished cooking. We were surprised that the food wasn't prepared before the official opening time, especially considering it was not for breakfast items.

I recently visited store #[redacted] and was disappointed with the service provided by the cashier, DS265. The person on the speaker was not attentive to our order, did not respond appropriately, and failed to answer our questions about the menu. When we reached the window, he took the money but ignored my attempts to adjust the order. Despite my efforts, he did not communicate well and even cursed at me. When I asked for a manager, I was told there wasn't one on-site. I reached out to the store later, and someone named Alan Bell answered, claiming the manager wasn't available and mentioning a Janine, which seemed confusing. Unfortunately, our order was never corrected, and due to time constraints, my friend and I had to leave without a resolution. The cashier's behavior was unprofessional, disrespectful, and not suitable for his role.

At Checkers around 6:40 PM on 02/13/22.
Just arrived home from the Checkers location at [redacted] East Joppa Drive, Baltimore, MD [redacted]. I ordered a 2 for $5.50 deal, which included a Checkers Burger and a Spicy Chicken Sandwich. Additionally, I picked up the 2/15 offer for Chicken Tenders through the App.
Initially, the employee at the counter did not scan my Rewards barcode, ensuring me with a "I got you."
Furthermore, I did not receive a receipt with my order. I checked the bag, but it was not included.
Regarding the Spicy Chicken Sandwich, it was my first time trying it, and I was not impressed. The patty seemed unnaturally flat and dry.
Overall, the service experience gave off a vibe more akin to buying a subway token in New York City - lacking in warmth, clarity, and friendliness.

We were not provided with a receipt, only an order sheet, despite requesting it. This is the third time we've encountered issues at this location. On our first visit, we waited 45 minutes due to a large order before ours. Today, we waited 30 minutes as they had run out of cooked burgers. Additionally, my husband requested unsweetened tea, but they were out of it.
It appears that the store is understaffed and struggling to keep up with orders. Today, there were 7 cars in front of us, waiting over 20 minutes to receive their food. While we love the food and want to return, it seems like the management team could benefit from suggestions or additional staff to improve the service. While waiting in the drive-thru at the Rallys in Middlesboro, KY, I experienced a concerning incident involving the manager, Tanya McDonald. As she handed my food out, she allegedly threatened me, insinuating harm if I didn't stop interacting with someone she knows. This behavior is unacceptable, especially for a manager. I plan to take legal action against Rallys for allowing such conduct. Two other witnesses heard her threats, which I find highly unprofessional. My lawyer will be in touch with Rallys to address this issue promptly.

Hello, I visited Checkers at Cape Gate on Friday, 16-12-22 after work. I had a negative experience at the money market. The lady assisting me was very rude. I gave her a piece of paper with the C-number for cash send, and she told me to read out the number saying she didn't know it. When I asked for R20 MTN data, she asked which data I wanted, and I specified that I needed data for Facebook and WhatsApp. After a bit of back and forth, she eventually gave me the correct data package.
I found her rudeness and unprofessionalism quite shocking. When I told her she was rude as a customer, she responded that she was not there to cater to people's feelings. I believe this is unacceptable behavior towards a customer. I wish for this matter to be taken seriously regarding the behavior of the Checkers staff.
If I do not receive a response from the Checkers head office, I will escalate this issue on Hello Peter. The lady, Busisiwe Galeni, who helped me did not have a name badge on, but I found her name on my till slip. I hope to hear back from you.

Hello! I wanted to share my recent experience at Checkers on [redacted] Mt. Moriah Road. While placing my order at the speaker, I had to repeat it multiple times as there were loud voices in the background. When I received my order at the window, the sandwich was made incorrectly and the fries were hard. After sending them back, the staff re-dropped some fries, which were still hard. This location seems to lack proper management, with young employees serving old and cold food and showing attitude when asked for a remake. Just wanted to share my disappointments!

I am writing to file a complaint regarding the service I received on the 7th at approximately 3:00 am. The black male cashier at the Dasher side was unhelpful and made me wait unnecessarily. Despite moving to the other side, I still experienced poor service, leading to the cancellation of two orders for customers Miracle and George.
Subsequently, I received another order at 3:10 am for Williiam C. amounting to $9.00. Unfortunately, the cashier continued to ignore me, resulting in a 40-minute wait and receiving cold food.
In light of this experience, I wanted to bring this matter to your attention for necessary improvements.

I had a disappointing experience at a specific Checkers restaurant, located at [redacted] NW 7 Ave in Miami. After ordering at the drive-thru, I handed the lady my debit card. I observed her handling fries without using a scoop, just using her gloved hand. When I asked for a different batch of fries due to this, she refused. Instead, she got hostile, called me names, and delayed returning my debit card. She even tried to keep my card by distracting me. The staff should use scoops for food handling, provide better customer service, and not hold onto cards for so long. The whole situation felt intentional to make me forget my card, which is unacceptable treatment of a customer.

Hello. I bought two half lambs on January 25, [redacted], at the Gateway store in KZN. The meat was pre-cut and packed, then stored in the fridges. Upon arriving home, I noticed the meat had an odd residue, off-color, slimy texture, and not a fresh scent. Concerned, I contacted Gateway's butcher manager, who explained the meat's shelf life is five days, with a sell-by date of January 28, [redacted]. Considering the recent heatwave in Durban, I found the storage conditions inadequate. Though the manager was willing to assist, I couldn't return to Gateway due to nightshift commitments. As a result, I still have the meat, causing inconvenience as I can't use it for meals for my kids. Now, I'll need to arrange transport to return it. This experience has made me doubt the quality assurance at Checkers, where I usually purchase meat. Very disappointing.

I visited store #[redacted] on 8/13/[redacted] at 11 p.m. I placed an order and was charged two different prices three times. The atmosphere inside seemed like a party, with the staff appearing to enjoy themselves. However, the cashier was rude and made mistakes with my order, insisting on additional payment when we had already paid. Upon checking my bank account, I discovered three incorrect charges totaling over $60. The shift manager apologized for the error and promised the district manager would contact me for a resolution. However, after waiting for hours, I received no call back. When I returned to the store, a different manager informed me that the district manager was unavailable. I left my contact details again but have yet to receive a solution. The lack of professionalism and the cashier's behavior have left me frustrated, and I expect a prompt resolution to this issue.

I attempted to resolve the issue, but unfortunately, my experience with Checkers has not been positive for several reasons. As a 71-year-old individual who uses a wheelchair and currently staying at a motel due to being homeless while trying to secure permanent housing, I recently encountered a problem with a delivery order that was mistakenly treated as a pickup order. This meal was supposed to be a special treat for me, yet the situation remains unresolved by Checkers. I kindly request assistance in receiving the correct meal promptly.

I used to work at Checkers and was let go due to my background. Despite passing a background check when I first started as a crewmember, I moved up to shift supervisor and then assistant manager without any issues related to my past. I raised concerns with my district manager, Maldi Rivera, about possible time theft by employees overlapping shifts, food not being cooked properly, questionable ServeSafe certifications, alarms left off overnight, and discrepancies in the cash register amounting to $[redacted]. Recently, the store downsized to two registers with a $[redacted] shortage. Additionally, we frequently ran out of products and faced various other challenges during my three months there.
