Hello,
I traded in a vehicle with a remaining loan balance on March 24, [redacted]. The dealership sent the payoff check on March 27, [redacted], which was endorsed and deposited by Chase. However, the payment was not applied to my account until June 11, [redacted], causing my FICO score to drop by 97 points from [redacted]. This impacted my credit card interest rates and hindered my ability to shop for a condo due to the mortgage rate implications. Despite resolving the account, my FICO score only improved by 30 points. I maintained timely payments throughout the loan term and feel unfairly penalized for someone else's oversight.
Regards,
Ray D.

Hello,
I'm contacting you on behalf of Advanced Remarketing Services, a company that assists in vehicle donations for Habitat for Humanity. One of our donors provided a Lien Release from your company, previously associated with Washington Mutual. To proceed with the sale of this vehicle at auction, we require a One and The Same form from Chase Auto Finance, following the acquisition of Washington Mutual. The donor has been unsuccessful in obtaining this document despite multiple attempts. Your prompt assistance in providing this paperwork is greatly appreciated, as each day the donated car remains unsold at our auction facility results in a loss of funds for Habitat for Humanity.
Thank you,
Cheryl R Glick

Hello, my name is Greggsherrill. I completed the final payment for my [redacted] Ford F-[redacted] in February [redacted]. Recently, when attempting to get a personal loan from my bank, they found that your records still show my account as open even though I have received the title. I need confirmation via email from your company to show that the account is closed, which is necessary for my bank to approve my loan request. Kindly send an email verifying the closure of my account so I can provide it to SECU. Thank you in advance. Greggsherrill.

Hello. I recently had an issue with my Bank while trying to pay for a car through RideSafely. The Bank mistakenly sent $[redacted] via Western Union to Chase Auto Finance Recovery in Florida for the auction. However, RideSafely informed me they couldn't accept the payment, and Western Union is unable to refund the money. It has been three weeks, and I still haven't received my funds back. I'm unsure how to proceed in this situation. I have all the necessary documentation. As I'm not fluent in English, I prefer written communication. Can you please confirm if you received the money? If so, could you advise me on the next steps to resolve this matter? The details are: Aleksei Klindukhov / Western Union 13.11.[redacted] / MTCN [redacted] / Organization code: VISIT FL / Account number: [redacted]27 / Chase Auto Finance Recovery.

I have had some missed payments on my account due to health issues. I was given an extension before for my surgery but had to undergo more treatment. I want to handle this without discussing my health concerns. My boyfriend is kindly paying off my car, and I have a cashier's check for $7,[redacted], while the balance remaining is around $[redacted]. However, when I confirmed the payment amount, I was told it was $8,[redacted].22. I need assistance to ensure the correct allocation of funds without revealing this situation to my boyfriend. I don't want him to know about the late payments. He is unaware of my health struggles, and it would be embarrassing for me. I rely on the car for medical appointments. I will be sending the check via certified mail on the 16th. Can someone please contact me at my work number to guide me through this process? Thank you.

Hello,
I've had a car lease with Chase Auto Finance for the past three and a half years. The lease ended on February 15, [redacted], and the car should have been returned by then. However, I still have the car with me and would like to purchase it for the following reasons:
1. The car has accumulated [redacted],[redacted] miles in excess. The odometer shows [redacted],[redacted] miles instead of 42,[redacted] miles.
2. I've been in two accidents since [redacted], with total repairs costing $17,[redacted].
Currently, the car's value is only around $3,[redacted], while I still owe Chase about $20,[redacted]. I work for food delivery services like DoorDash and BiteSquad to make a living. I am able to pay back the full balance within a year and propose a $1,[redacted] monthly settlement.
Losing the car would mean losing my job and income. I am willing to provide any necessary information about my employment and bank accounts. Communicating with Chase over the phone has been challenging as they cut me off before hearing me out. I want to pay what I owe, and I seek assistance in moving this request forward.
Thank you.

Title Information for [redacted]
We observe that your title is in electronic form, not printed yet. The lienholder released the lien without printing it. For a fee of $4.50, you can have it printed and mailed by visiting gorenew.com and paying with a credit or debit card. Normally, it takes 7-10 business days to receive the title. To expedite the process, you can pay $10 at your local tax collector's office for a fast title. If you are out-of-state, contact the local tax collector to have the title mailed after paying the $10 fee. Leaving the title electronic has advantages: you can avoid losing it and paying for a duplicate. Dealerships in Florida can access the title remotely if you trade in your car, while for individual sales, both parties can visit the tax collector's office. Lastly, keep in mind that purchasing a duplicate title from the tax collector’s office in case of loss incurs a fee of $75.25.

I purchased a Dodge Grand Caravan in [redacted] through Chase Manhattan Auto Finance Corp. Now, the car is not operational, and I need to get rid of it. Unfortunately, a junkyard requires a title for me to dispose of it. I seem to have misplaced the original lease, purchase agreements, and title. I attempted to obtain a replacement title from the Connecticut DMV, but they informed me that Chase still holds a lien on the vehicle. To proceed, I need a lien release letter from Chase. I am hopeful that Chase retains records from 21 years ago so that I can acquire the necessary lien release letter and move forward with disposing of the car. Here are the vehicle details:
Dodge Grand Caravan
VIN: 1B4GP54R7WB613971
Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Arta D.

I set up automatic payments for my car loan through my Chase account. However, the loan was transferred to another account for payments. I didn't remove the automatic payment thinking it would cancel itself. As a result, the payment wasn't deducted because there weren't enough funds. I would like to know if I can get a refund since the payment was already processed from the new account a few days ago.

I financed a car through this bank when I had three jobs, but due to sickness, I had to be out of work for three months. Despite my requests, Chase bank refused to repossess the car or work with me. For the past three years, I've tried to return the car or have the title released to me, but they haven't cooperated. I'm willing to pay $[redacted], more than the car's value, to resolve this situation. I believe if they had repossessed the car earlier, they could have recovered some money at auction. Instead, they've left me in a difficult position. I hope to settle this quickly without legal action. Chase's customer service has been unhelpful and transferring calls to different departments has not yielded a solution. I just want this resolved so I can move forward.

I have cleared my auto loan balance, leaving a small amount for remaining unpaid interest. Surprisingly, my automatic payment deducted $[redacted].39 from my account instead of the expected $5. Chase responded to my complaint by acknowledging the oversight and ensuring me that the issue will be addressed by the relevant department. They admitted that the autopay feature should have been disabled after the loan payoff. Despite mentioning that online payments usually reflect accurately on the account, they consider this an isolated incident. However, after numerous attempts to contact them, I have not received reimbursement. Chase's long hold times and inability to resolve the issue have been frustrating, with my calls to them being redirected due to the auto finance department's jurisdiction. I am troubled by the lack of response and the constant runaround. I urge them to reach out to me promptly, as I possess evidence of the excessive deduction.

I made my payment for March on 3/26 with a different bank account, but received a past due notice. I made another payment on 4/6 using the same account details and fear it may not process. I'm new to Chase auto finance and want to avoid late payments on my record. I am having trouble logging in as I can't recall my user details to reset. Is there a way to pay with a card instead of a bank account? How can I update my login information? Thank you for your assistance.

My spouse and I visited Enterprise auto sales in Denver, CO, to buy a new car. I mentioned that my previous account with them was paid in full. Upon contacting Chase Auto Finance, they confirmed it too. I requested a verification letter, but despite assurances, it wasn't faxed to the dealer's finance department on time. Numerous calls from my wife, even from the sales rep, were abruptly ended, causing frustration. We were stranded past 6:30 PM, inconveniencing us and our children waiting at the hotel. Ultimately, the manager allowed us to take the car, pending further contact with Chase the next day. The poor service made us reconsider using Chase again, with the dealership expressing similar dissatisfaction. The situation caused stress and disappointment, and I intend to share this experience online. The closed account number associated with the [redacted] Nissan Frontier was [redacted][redacted].

I am experiencing an issue where my credit has been checked in September without my authorization, as I had already purchased a truck back in June. Unfortunately, leading up to June and ongoing, my ID was stolen and my house was burglarized on July 24th, causing a great deal of distress. I am constantly reminded of these difficult events whenever I check my credit report. I want to emphasize that I did not approve this credit check and I am determined to have it rectified. To address this matter, please reach out to me at [redacted]. I am employed at Walmart in Richmond and reside in Wharton. Due to security concerns, I have obtained a P.O. Box since my personal information including emails and passwords were compromised. I have been a victim of identity theft and I will take the necessary steps to address this issue promptly. You can contact me through my phone number or reach me at my P.O. Box in Wharton, Texas. Thank you.

I have a [redacted] truck that has been fully paid for a few years now, but I haven't received the lien release letter yet. I need this document for the new owner to register the truck. I've tried several phone numbers, but they are all automated. When I did get through to a live person, they just gave me another number to call. Once, the automated system said it was transferring me to a live person, but then I got disconnected after waiting in silence. Can someone provide me with a phone number where I can speak to a real person? Thank you.

My vehicle was repossessed from 2/22/21 to 2/25/21, and I'm seeking details on how it was retrieved. I endured a difficult situation due to a domestic abuse incident and was unable to prevent the repossession as I was hospitalized. I suspect my abuser may have been involved due to the circumstances. Knowing where the vehicle was found would help me assess my safety as he remains in jail. I want to clarify if the repossession was a random retrieval or if he was driving the car. Any information on whether it was reported as delinquent would be helpful. I appreciate any assistance as I work to get my life back on track after this ordeal.

I recently leased a [redacted] Subaru from Schomp in Aurora, CO on June 24th. I am concerned because I have not received any information regarding lease payments, neither by mail nor online (my preferred method). I left a message for our salesperson on 7/2 but have not received a response. I need to set up my July online payments by Monday (7/5) and require information for future planning. Additionally, I need the lease details for my auto insurance to include the vehicle in my coverage. If anyone can assist me with this issue, I would greatly appreciate it. Otherwise, I may have to return to the dealer in search of a resolution.
Thank you,
R. L.

Despite leaving a message for our salesperson on July 2nd regarding this issue, I have not received a response. I need to set up my July online payments soon and require guidance on how to proceed with payments and plan for future ones. Additionally, I need my account number, which I believe should have been provided with the lease agreement, and the title holder information for my auto insurance. I hope to resolve these matters without having to return to the dealer, but if necessary, I will explore that option.
