Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Customer Service Issues

I recently became eligible for Medicaid, and now I must select a health insurance plan. I have a long-standing prescription that isn't commonly covered, so it's crucial that the plan I choose covers it. Also, I am in need of comprehensive dental coverage, which can be complex to navigate due to various costs and limitations. I reside in New York county.

My son's Medicaid expired in January. He is not eligible for Medicare until June 1, [redacted]. He requires medical procedures and doctor's care but cannot afford to pay out of pocket. This is a critical situation. He had to cancel a scheduled medical procedure for March 10th and now needs pain medication but cannot afford the doctor's fee. Is there any assistance available for him as he currently has no coverage?

After experiencing a fall resulting in injuries to my chest, hips, knees, and ankles, I have not been admitted to Lakeview Medical Center in Rice Lake, WI. The medical team is recommending inpatient rehabilitation, but I lack the required 3-day hospital stay. Luckily, I am covered by The Medica Prime Solutions Enhanced with a Wisconsin rider that includes 30 days in a skilled nursing facility without the need for a 3-day hospital stay. Unfortunately, the social workers and nursing home staff are unfamiliar with this coverage. Despite being in-network with Medica, they have not encountered this situation before. After reaching out to Medica, I finally spoke to someone who confirmed my coverage. At 89 years old, I am unsure of the next steps to take in this situation.
