Hello, I am the owner of the properties at 46 Hoonani Street, Kihei, HI [redacted]. Recently, tenants in unit 48-C & D have been causing disturbances by slamming doors and damaging the water waste pipe, leading to a urine smell entering my unit. I have contacted the Maui Police Department and provided evidence of the issue. The owner, Mr. Christopher Wu of Wu LLC, promptly sent plumbers to resolve the problem after a phone call from the officer. Despite sending messages, photos, and registered letters, the situation persists, impacting my health as a disabled individual in my sixties who requires adequate rest. The presence of diabetic individuals among these tenants exacerbates the urine odor issue. It is concerning to see such disregard for others' well-being, especially when veterans and Americans are struggling. I urge Wu Properties LLC to address this matter immediately. Thank you.

Hello, I received a notice about a concerning issue regarding urine at my address on Hoonani Street in Kihei, Hawaii. New tenants caused severe plumbing problems, leading to a strong urine odor in the property. I contacted the Maui Police Department, who witnessed the issue and requested the owner's contact information. The owner sent plumbers, but the problem persists. Despite sending multiple letters to the owner about the ongoing urine odor, the response was insensitive, suggesting I move out. The situation escalated to a court case due to language barriers with the tenants. The tenants seem to be harassing me, attempting to drive me out of the unit. There were further complications with leaks and disturbance from other tenants, including a confrontation about a malfunctioning motion detector. I am feeling scared and overwhelmed by the entire situation and am unsure of what steps to take next. Thank you.

While cleaning, I used a disinfectant with hot water and a scrub buddies scouring sponge. I realized the scouring side of the sponge is made up of tiny metal particles that may have been absorbed through my skin, causing pain, infections, and health issues. I am concerned about potential metal poisoning from this exposure. I am unsure which doctor to consult or what tests to get for this situation. I find it challenging to make others believe this has happened to me. It is distressing not knowing where to seek assistance or find data on similar incidents. My health is deteriorating, and I urgently need help with this matter.

While cleaning with Lysol Disinfectant Cleaner and a scrubber sponge, metal particles from the scrubbing side got embedded in my hands, causing a severe infection. The metal bits have not come out despite being on antibiotics for three months. Now, I have an allergic reaction all over my body with red sores, inflammation, itching, and white patches. Medical professionals have not been able to help me, and I am experiencing various symptoms and feel unwell. I am struggling to get others to believe what happened to me. Has anyone else experienced something similar?

There has been an increase in the number of patients admitted to St. Mary's & St. Elizabeth Hospital - AMITA Health in Chicago diagnosed with Candida Auris. Many of these patients are from a few specific nursing homes. The source of this rare infection is unclear. Should the CDC look into this matter further due to the severity of the disease?

I recently picked up 5 packages from the post office and just realized they are from China, with some items sent from Wuhan. They arrived on 02-20-[redacted] at my post office in Mallie, KY, [redacted]. I also received other packages around the time of the coronavirus news for my child's birthday. I need guidance, especially considering the origin in Wuhan, China, as I have 3 daughters. I unknowingly brought the packages into my home after stopping at my child's school. Please advise me on what steps I should take as I didn't pay attention to the origin earlier due to being in a rush. My name is Jessica L., and my phone number is [redacted]. Thank you.

I am with a healthcare provider serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disorders who struggle with hygiene. Despite not finding N95 masks, I was able to obtain R95 [redacted] masks. According to 3M, the R95 offers the same protection as an N95, with the key difference lying in the following numbers after the letter. The "R" designation caters specifically to oil industries and includes a carbon filter along with all features of an N95. My large company across the US is procuring [redacted] of these masks. We are advised not to use them unless they are on the CDC's approved list. Requesting CDC's guidance to recognize the effectiveness of the "R" design due to the critical N95 shortage. Situated in PA, surrounded by COVID-19 cases, we urgently need suitable masks for our work.

During a recent meeting at my workplace, alarming information regarding potential Coronavirus exposure was shared. An employee disclosed that his wife, who works at a nursing home with a Coronavirus patient, exhibited symptoms after being exposed. Another coworker, who recently returned from Thailand and fell ill, was present at work for three days before calling out sick, leading to concerns of exposure. Shockingly, the company's refusal to implement a 14-day quarantine for these individuals, citing concerns about misuse, is deeply concerning. Despite clear risks, the Terminal Manager dismissed the need for quarantine, leaving employees exposed and at risk of spreading the virus unknowingly. This negligent approach to employee safety is alarming and could endanger not only the staff but also their families and the public at large. The lack of transparency and potential repercussions for taking necessary precautions, such as quarantine, adds to the distressing situation. Urgent action is required to protect everyone involved.

Subject: Proposal to Utilize School Cafeterias for Food Distribution I recently reached out to CDC with the following suggestion: I would like to express my gratitude for the tireless efforts put forth to protect our communities. Drawing on my experience as a former School Food Service Director in North Carolina, I believe that schools could efficiently cater to a large number of people while maintaining social distancing protocols amid the current crisis. School cafeterias, with their ample storage capacities, are well-equipped to provide meals for students and staff. The cafeteria managers possess valuable insights into the students' meal programs and can identify those in need of assistance. By leveraging the school bus system, meals could be prepared and distributed directly to the homes of students and their families. Utilizing food supplies from closed restaurants and government relief funds, school cafeteria staff could prepare meal packages for each household. These meals could be delivered by bus drivers, who are familiar with the students and their communities, ensuring that even remote families receive support. Additionally, by accommodating staff on school premises and enforcing social distancing measures, we can ensure the safety and well-being of all involved. I hope this proposal can serve as a practical solution to support those most vulnerable in our communities with minimal disruption. Sincerely, Jody Bennett T. [redacted]

I waited on hold for over an hour tonight trying to contact the CDC. At my doctor's office, there was a concerning incident involving a patient who had recently traveled to Brazil and had a possible COVID-19 exposure. The patient was allowed to wait in the lobby with other patients before being advised to self-quarantine. The situation caused panic among patients and staff members. I am particularly worried about my own health as I have preexisting conditions. The office manager's behavior was unprofessional, and I believe the practice should be investigated. I have contacted local news agencies and will be getting tested. It is crucial to address these issues to protect the community during this national emergency.

The Trump administration dismisses CDC guidance on reopening the US amidst the coronavirus situation. As a citizen, I implore you not to be influenced by the White House! We, the public, deserve the unvarnished truth, not some politically motivated PR statement endorsed by the White House. We need your guidance in these troubled times. You should feel empowered to divulge any report, no matter how grim. Lives depend on you being honest with us! No holds barred - we rely on you as our only hope to navigate through COVID-19. Please shield us from a White House that continuously makes empty promises while countless individuals perish. Thank you for your efforts so far - keep going. We stand by you and trust you to assist us. You are not a political entity! - PL Turner

Why aren't there any Public Service Announcements about Covid-19? In my small town of Canon City, CO, many businesses and individuals are not following the mask and social distancing guidelines. As someone in a higher-risk category, this situation causes me anxiety and frustration. There is a prevalent belief here that Covid-19 is a hoax, no worse than the flu, and that masks are ineffective. I believe that saturating the media with PSA's could effectively reach most residents. These ads might influence parents to comply, especially if their children advocate for safety measures after seeing them. I remember how impactful seatbelt usage ads were in the '70s when my daughter cried until I made wearing seatbelts a habit. Covid-19 PSA's could have a similar positive impact.

In October [redacted], I went to court for an eviction, and I signed a CDC form that stopped the process. However, I am now facing harassment from the landlord. During two recent Zoom court hearings, the landlord entered my home for an inspection but only showed the judge damages not caused by us, which are actually maintenance issues. The judge granted possession of judgment to the landlord for nearly $13k. My husband and I have been struggling with medical issues since COVID hit last year, and we lost our cleaning business job in March [redacted]. The landlord has been harassing us, cutting off power multiple times despite health issues in the household. He even removed the electric meter from our wall. I feel unfairly treated, especially when the landlord interrupted me during court and the judge suggested I get a gas station job. The landlord has made threats, taken photos of my car, and is planning to bring people to the house without our consent. I am worried for my family's safety amid this COVID crisis and the landlord's actions. I'm not sure what to do next, as the landlord claims the judge is on his side. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

My spouse and I got our initial Covid vaccine on 12/29/[redacted] in Florida. Back then, it was for those 65 and older on a first-come, first-serve basis. We were able to schedule our second dose for 1/27/[redacted]. Unfortunately, I had to fly to Ohio on 1/23/[redacted] due to a family emergency. I missed my second dose as I couldn't make it back in time. Despite trying to reach out to the Lee County Department of Health, I haven't been able to reschedule yet. My husband did get his second dose, but I am facing delays due to possible exposure to the virus. I attended a funeral with family members who tested positive for Covid-19, but I tested negative upon my return. I am wondering about the timeframe for getting vaccinated after exposure.

I am concerned about my daughter, who is 50, caring for my wife and me as we are 78 and 80. Phase 1b covers essential workers, but it does not mention older children living at home looking after elderly parents. It seems overlooked that unmarried adult children caring for their elderly parents were not included. I believe there is no distinction between a certified nursing assistant caring for a 60-year-old in a nursing home and a son or daughter caring for their 78 and 80-year-old parents. I hope this aspect can be considered for inclusion in Phase 1b. Regards, C.P. Jr. from California

My 50-year-old daughter resides with my wife and me, providing us with care. At 80 and 78 years old, we qualify for Phase 1b criteria, which currently includes sons and daughters assisting seniors in convalescent homes alongside CNA's. It seems that the oversight of older children caring for their elderly parents was not initially considered when the criteria were established. I believe it could be a simple adjustment to include them in the guidelines. Drawing from my experience with the United States Parole Commission, U.S. Department of Justice, I know that such errors can be rectified promptly. Earlier today at 1:14 p.m. PST, during a call with Brittiny, the conversation ended abruptly. It is crucial to maintain professionalism, especially when serving individuals who rely on these services. Sincerely, Charles Pineda, Jr.

I have concerns about the CDC's mandate for 2-year-olds to wear face masks. It seems unreasonable to expect such young children to understand the purpose of wearing a mask. If there is a need for children to wear masks, it should start at age 5 when they may comprehend the reasons behind it better. The ever-changing rules and mandates related to COVID-19 are puzzling. It feels like these regulations are driven by fear and potentially amplified by social media and news sources like CNN. It's worrying to see the government enforcing these mandates, including the CDC. The approach seems more about instilling fear and control rather than ensuring genuine safety.

My apartment is infested with a stinging parasite. It spread to my clothes, carpet, furniture, refrigerator, and freezer damaging my food. The exterminator couldn't identify it, but online research suggests it might be a specific type of pest. Even my pet ferrets are getting stung. Despite reaching out to management for help and expecting reimbursement for my losses, they haven't taken any action. I used to receive assistance from SNAP for food, but that's been impacted. I estimate around $[redacted] worth of food has been ruined, not including the damaged clothes and furniture. I've taken steps to address the issue, including using lice treatments. I've incurred costs, including a $70 prescription for my inflamed scalp. Due to the ongoing infestation and health concerns, I've decided to move out by August 1st. The situation has taken a toll on my well-being, causing me to lose weight as I've had to discard contaminated food. I have documentation, including photos of the pests and affected items.
