My mother was discharged from Riverside Medical Center on 5/11/[redacted] and transferred to Newport News Rehabilitation and Nursing Facility for 20 days of physical and occupational therapy. Patients were not properly cared for, left wet or soiled for prolonged periods, given incorrect medications, and neglected in terms of hygiene and basic care. Despite our daily visits and complaints, my mother suffered from lack of proper care, including being unbathed and left in pain. Attempts to transfer her to another facility were fruitless due to her condition being labeled high-risk and needing extensive assistance. Meetings with the facility's management, including the Director of Operations (V. Pope), Director of Nursing (P. Stevens), and Director of Rehab (Joann), did not result in any improvements. Things worsened as my mother developed a painful rash and a severe ulcer due to neglect and improper care. She eventually fell from her bed and suffered further injuries, leading to a hospital visit where she was diagnosed with septic shock. My pleas for better treatment were disregarded, illustrating the facility's lack of concern for its patients' well-being. The neglect and mistreatment at this facility must be addressed and investigated promptly.

Blitzer's exaggerated language appears biased, possibly due to personal ties he has in the south Florida area. I question the need for this excessive coverage, which, though tragic, overshadows major world events that surely have the same or even greater societal impact. CNN's credibility has been significantly diminished by these recent management choices.

I have tried seeking help from the FBI for over two years, but they have not assisted. Additionally, the federal attorney rejected my complaint filing. The programming seems to lack balance with predominantly right-wing guests criticizing President Biden, contrasting Fox News' "fair and balanced" claim. CNN could benefit from adopting a similar approach.
