I was recently denied check-in for my flight to Amsterdam from Heathrow due to my British passport not meeting the 3-month validity requirement. British Airways did not inform me of this requirement prior to booking. The airport staff incorrectly stated that my passport had expired, when in reality, it expires in December [redacted]. I was disappointed with the service and requested to see the requirements, but was informed I should contact customer support for any compensation. I would like this matter to be investigated. My Booking No: UY8B2S.

I was denied boarding for my flight to Malaga from LCY on September 15, [redacted], due to overloading. They promised compensation of [redacted] euros per person, but despite multiple messages to the claims department, I have not received it. At one point, BA claimed to have sent compensation, but it was not deposited into the bank account I provided. Since then, my repeated messages to BA have gone unanswered. It has been over a year now, and there is still no resolution in sight for this issue.

Hello, I am reaching out regarding two bookings, OFT8HC and RMNAS3, scheduled for travel on 27/10/[redacted]. The initial booking was for myself, John Buckley, and my wife, Noemia Buckley, to travel from London Heathrow to Bermuda. Due to the passing of my wife's father in Rhode Island, US, she needed to attend the funeral and found it more convenient to fly directly from LHR to Boston. We encountered challenges changing the booking, so we arranged a new flight to Boston, which worked out smoothly and with minimal added stress. As my wife did not use her portion of the OFT8HC booking, I am seeking a refund for it. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Best regards, John Buckley (initials J.M.B) Phone: +1-[redacted] (work) | +1-[redacted] (cell) Email: [redacted] or [redacted]

Subject: Flight Reservation Inquiry Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to address an issue with my flight reservation under the reference O9U2N8. The trip is from Bologna, Italy to Auckland, New Zealand with connecting flights in London with British Airways, and then Dallas before reaching Auckland with American Airlines. A work obligation has arisen requiring me to be in London a day early, making it necessary to skip the initial flight from Bologna. I am inquiring if it is possible to board the second flight in London without jeopardizing the rest of my itinerary. I understand this may be a complex request, and I greatly appreciate any assistance your team can provide. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Giovanni Succi

I have not yet received the confirmation email for my booking reference UB85PU, which I made yesterday for myself and my daughter to travel from Milan to London Heathrow on flight BA591 on June 15, [redacted]. I have checked my bank account and the payment has already been deducted. The email address I provided during booking, [redacted], is correct, as it was displayed in the final booking details with our names, flight numbers, and booking reference. I still need the email confirmation as it will have our ticket numbers on it. The passengers' names are Sandra Walden and Lara Walden.

I upgraded to business class for my flight from SAN to LHR (TXVYW). Unfortunately, the experience was a disaster due to a faulty entertainment system and upsetting food. I would like to request an upgrade to first class for the return journey as compensation.

I had a flight booked with BA on January 15th. On the morning of my travel, I noticed that they had my old passport number on the booking instead of my updated one. I contacted customer service to rectify this and was charged £[redacted]. Upon arrival at LGW, BA staff informed me that the change could have been made for free at the airport and suggested I file a complaint. I reached out to BA with my concerns and was given case number [redacted]2. Despite multiple follow-ups, I have not received a response in 46 days. This should have been a straightforward matter as there should not have been a fee for updating my passport number. The agent, Alex Hayes, who assisted me did not seem very experienced. I am still awaiting resolution. Thank you, Sandra Wild.

My son's suitcase went missing at Heathrow Airport on a flight from Marseille on Friday, March **th. Inside, his essential medicines are kept, and he is alone in England. The flight was with BA, and the suitcase label is BA ******. It is a large blue Samsonite wheeled suitcase. I checked the airport's lost and found section on Missingx.com and found several suitcases that could be his, but I have not received any updates. I am deeply concerned for my son's situation. Please help in arranging for him to retrieve his suitcase if it has been found and stored somewhere. Thank you.

I had a booking with American Airlines for flight [redacted] on July 3, which was operated by British Airways, with the record locator #LQTXXI. Due to a schedule change, I had to switch my route to AA #81 from LHR to DFW. This change also impacted my flight from ABZ to LHR on July 3, making me switch to flight #[redacted] to catch my connecting flight in LHR. I had prebooked seats on February 10 with confirmation code T413F8. I am looking to change my seat assignments for the ABZ flight to the earlier one and seek a refund for the seats on the LHR to PHX segment that I had to cancel. Thank you, Lindsay and Holmes.

Hello, I am inquiring about passport restrictions. I have a flight scheduled from Glasgow to the Cayman Islands. While I am a resident of the Cayman Islands and hold a permit, I had to return to the UK due to a family emergency. Unfortunately, my passport expired on the 5th of June, and my attempts to renew it have been hampered by the ongoing strike. I need to return to the Cayman Islands urgently as I have already extended my stay by 5 weeks and have important matters to attend to there before coming back to the UK where my mother requires palliative care. I am planning to apply for a fast-track appointment as soon as possible. Can I still use my passport in this situation? The website suggests that I can, but I want to confirm this. Thank you, Tracy S.

Six weeks ago, I reached out to BA customer service regarding traveling to Nigeria with a passport that has less than 6 months validity. Initially, I was informed by a representative that they might accommodate passengers with expired passports and suggested I double-check with my embassy. After verifying with my embassy that my passport was valid for travel, I proceeded to book my flight. Upon calling BA again to confirm, a different agent informed me that I need 6 months validity post my travel date. Subsequently, another agent mentioned I required a no objection letter from the embassy, which the embassy does not issue, leaving me confused about BA's exact requirements for boarding on May 7th. Despite receiving confirmation from IATA that my documentation was adequate, BA still expressed uncertainty about boarding me. I sought a refund for peace of mind but was advised of a minimal reimbursement. The lack of clarity from BA has caused distress as my travel date approaches. As a Nigerian citizen, I am disappointed by the inconsistent information provided by BA and seek assurance for my upcoming journey home. I hope BA can resolve these issues promptly.

I, S.N. Singh, accompanied by my wife, M. Singh, flew from Delhi to London on BA flight [redacted] in seats 40A & 40C on 01/06/23. We then connected to BA flight [redacted] to Pittsburgh in seats 24A & 24B. Our luggage, consisting of four bags with tag numbers BA326663, BA326664, BA326682, BA326683, did not arrive in Pittsburgh, causing inconvenience. After receiving a QR code to lodge a complaint, we faced errors while submitting details online, leading to frustration. Despite efforts to contact British Airways customer service and visiting the airport office, we encountered challenges and lack of assistance. We are awaiting prompt actions for the swift return of our belongings, essential for our daily needs. S.N. Singh, Reference: SSR8YQ.

Hello, my mum, Helen Mcalinden, was supposed to be on your flight from Las Vegas to London last night. However, she lost her passport. Her companions applied for an emergency travel document for her to be sent to terminal 3 BA desk. They recently informed us that they cannot deliver documents to the airport. I have been trying to reach my mum to let her know about this, but her phone is not responding, and she may struggle to connect to Wi-Fi as she is a pensioner. I am deeply concerned as we haven't had any contact since 6 am. I believe she might return to terminal 3 at Las Vegas airport, expecting to collect the documentation. I kindly request your assistance to check if she has returned to the airport and help her with connecting to Wi-Fi so I can contact her. Thank you for any help you can provide. Correen Mcalinden

This is an urgent matter. During our journey on 6/14 from Belfast to Bologna, our two suitcases did not arrive. We promptly filed the necessary reports online, which are identified with the numbers BLQBA16150 and [redacted]. On 6/15 at around 12:30 p.m. while en route to Urbino for a meeting, we received a call from a woman claiming to be from Bologna Airport. She informed us that we needed to complete a customs form to facilitate the release of our bags. She mentioned emailing and texting us said form. Unfortunately, we did not receive any communication. Despite multiple calls to the baggage phone number since 1:30 p.m. on 6/15, the automated message indicates that the bags are out for delivery, which has not occurred. I am left without clothing, essential documents, and necessary tech equipment crucial for my business trip. As a result, I may be compelled to undertake a 5-hour round trip to the airport in Bologna in search of my belongings, risking missing important meetings. Therefore, I urgently request a prompt response. Please contact me at +1 [redacted].

My wife is an extremely nervous flyer due to an emergency landing in Jamaica thirty years ago. We are traveling from London Heathrow to Corfu with British Airways on 10/9/23 flight BA838 with Booking Reference KUP8TY, and returning on 24/9/23 on BA601. I am attempting to select seats, but struggling to reach a representative over the phone. My wife trembles during takeoff and landing, and is anxious about not sitting beside me. Can British Airways assist with seating arrangements? Best regards, M. L.

Hello, I took a flight from Berlin to London yesterday at 9 p.m. I needed to stay overnight from 10 p.m. to 10 a.m. to catch my flight to the Cayman Islands. The staff member stopped me and said I needed a transit visa. I'm Moroccan, and the UK embassy informed me I can stay for 48 hours without leaving the airport. He marked me as a no-show for the flight, and I can't change it. I managed to find a flight from Frankfurt to London on July 1st at 7 a.m. and then from London to the Cayman Islands at 10:20 a.m. I urgently need to switch my flight to that one as my European visa is expiring soon. The manager from Swissport said she would send an email to explain that I was there on time, but the staff member marked me as a no-show.

Hello, my name is Moses Emmanuel Chukwudi from no. 24 Akoko South West, Ondo State, Nigeria. I recently encountered a woman who identified herself as Nilza Loura on Facebook. Unfortunately, she scammed me of #[redacted],[redacted], pretending to be a staff member of British Airways Company. I have substantial evidence on WhatsApp, including her contact information, photos, and details of how she tricked me. She worked alongside a local man in Nigeria, and she provided an account number in the UK for me to transfer the funds. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I took Flight BA0212 from Logan International to Heathrow (London) in Club World heading to Berlin on Flight BA [redacted]. Unfortunately, my luggage did not arrive on the same flight and I had to return to the airport to collect it when it arrived on the next flight. Instead of waiting for British Airways to deliver it in 3 days, I had to spend $77.30 on a taxi back to the airport and $84.64 for a return taxi to my hotel in Berlin, Abion. Can you please advise if I am eligible for reimbursement for these taxi expenses?

I have made reservations with British Airways using booking reference number WAFIPR. However, I am unable to locate seats for our return flight BA [redacted] from Heathrow to IAD Washington Dulles. As two elderly individuals requiring wheelchair assistance, it is essential that we are seated together. My British Airways frequent flyer number is [redacted]2, and I believe I have more than [redacted],[redacted] Avios. I kindly request British Airways to assist in securing two adjacent seats with one aisle seat for the mentioned flight. I am willing to use Avios or cash to upgrade to a business class if necessary. Your help in this matter is greatly appreciated.
