Hello, I recently spoke with Cathay Pacific regarding the option of changing mine and my friends' flights to an earlier departure from Manila to Hong Kong on Thursday. They mentioned that since the ticket stock is under British Airways, they would need to handle the process of arranging an earlier flight for us. Our current flight is scheduled for 17:45, but we would like to request a seat on the 8:05 am flight if possible, as seats are still open on that flight. Your assistance in helping us with this change would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Flight BA0370 to Marseille on Friday, April 12, [redacted], at 17:15.
I sadly experienced a loss in my family yesterday and needed to urgently book a flight to France for a funeral. Upon realizing that my original booking for April 19th was incorrect, I had to make a last-minute change to April 12th. This was a mistake made during a difficult time, and it has resulted in significant additional costs for me.
The initial ticket price was £[redacted], but due to the change, I had to pay an extra £[redacted]. This financial burden is quite heavy given the circumstances. I am hoping that there may be a possibility for a refund considering the short time frame in which the correction was made.
I appreciate any assistance you can provide in resolving this issue promptly. Thank you.

Good morning, I am seeking assistance. I have saved up for months to take my husband to San Francisco for his 50th birthday. He is a full-time caregiver for his parents and rarely has the chance to travel. Our flight with your airline is on 3rd May (Booking ref VR657E). I am eager to upgrade our outbound U.S. flight for him, but the online quote is beyond my budget. Is there a lower amount you would consider to upgrade our London to San Francisco flight? I apologize for the bold request, as my husband rarely vacations, and I want this trip to be truly special for him. I hope this will be a memorable holiday for him. Best regards, A. McCoy

I am extremely disappointed with the service provided today for my mother's 70th Birthday trip to Dublin. She was supposed to be on BA0830 at 14:10, but sadly she was forgotten in the holding area and now has been rebooked on the 17:35 flight. This was a very inhumane mistake considering her health condition and the effort she made to arrive early for her flight. I am upset and seeking urgent answers. I am not sure what kind of compensation can rectify this situation. Her booking reference is V39NGG. She was given a food voucher and later escorted to the 1st class lounge. I am eager to know how this unfortunate incident will be resolved for my Mother. Helen Adams

I have noticed that you allow service animals on your flights. My partner is considering upgrading my seat to business class from Tokyo to London to make the journey more comfortable for me during the early stages of my pregnancy. However, I am concerned about how my service cat will be accommodated for the flight. I suffer from anxiety and fear of flying, often experiencing panic attacks, and my cat provides me with much-needed comfort. While I understand that she may not be able to sit with me in business class, I was wondering if there is a possibility for her to travel in the cabin where I could check on her periodically during the flight, such as when I need to use the restroom. This would greatly ease my worries and help me manage my anxiety and potential panic attacks, especially since breathing becomes difficult for me during such episodes. I am prepared to provide all necessary documentation for her, including her microchip details, recent rabies vaccination, and being securely harnessed inside her carrier. She is well-behaved and follows commands as a trained service animal should. Thank you in advance for your assistance; it would mean a lot to us.

Hello,
My wife and I are loyal customers of BA, with my wife currently being on the bronze executive club. I am requesting a favor regarding our canceled flight from Manchester to Toronto in February due to my wife breaking her arm. Despite previous health issues, we have recovered, but I will now be traveling alone. Our booking reference is LIK7LS. I would have booked through my wife's silver membership for lounge access, but as I am traveling alone, I have paid for premium economy outbound and First Class return. I would appreciate access to the lounges at Manchester and T5 on the outbound journey if possible. Thank you for considering this request.

I attempted to cancel my upcoming flight with Booking Reference Q859VL earlier today. I was contacted by Dana, who represents British Airways and emailed me at [redacted] Initially, she mentioned the airline's policy of no cancellations but later allowed a complimentary cancellation with some fees, requesting the credit card details. She mentioned needing until tomorrow morning to confirm the hotel cancellation. I am worried we might be falling for a scam after providing this information. I have an American Airlines Frequent Flyer ticket with Fiji Airways as the partner airline, connecting with a British Airways flight. Unsure if I can select a seat for the BA leg of the journey (Sydney to Singapore). The flight confirmation number with FJ is NHG83E, and your flight number is BA16. I prefer an aisle seat towards the front of the plane if possible. My name is Jon Piepkorn, and the flight is scheduled for September 25, [redacted]. Appreciate any assistance you can provide. Thank you. Best regards, Jon.

Passengers rushed onto the delayed flight to Malaga with urgency. After boarding, the pilot announced a 3 1/2-hour delay on the tarmac before takeoff. Currently, the new estimated time of arrival is 11:30 pm, which is over 5 hours later than scheduled. Passengers are effectively stuck on the plane, unable to disembark. It's disappointing that there was no option to stay off the plane given the delay. While the aircrew might not have been aware, British Airways should have been more transparent with its customers about the situation.

Today, my family and I traveled from Manchester to Osaka via London Heathrow with the booking reference R4KBD9. Upon our arrival in Osaka after a long journey, we were informed that our luggage did not make it on the flight and is still in London. We were disappointed to hear that we would have to wait until the 16th to receive our luggage. We were told we could either pick it up at the airport on the 16th or have it delivered to our hotel on the 17th. It's frustrating not to have our belongings with us, especially as we had further travel plans to Kyoto. We hoped for a smoother experience, as stated on the BA website.
Unfortunately, the airport staff did not provide us with a tracking number for our luggage, making it difficult for us to monitor its whereabouts. This experience has dampened our 22nd wedding anniversary celebration trip. We kindly request BA to address this issue promptly by providing us with the tracking number and ensuring our luggage is forwarded to our hotel without further delay once it arrives in Osaka on the 16th.
Best regards,
C. Costello

I experienced multiple issues with my luggage during a recent flight transfer to BA. My luggage was lost, arrived damaged and several days late. I was informed to purchase clothing and necessities due to weather conditions, resulting in exceeded baggage weight for the return journey. I am seeking compensation for the delay, the damaged suitcase, the purchased items, and the additional costs for my return baggage or mailing the excess items separately. Furthermore, I lost a thermos and earphones during the journey, the latter due to a manual search because of being handicapped. How can I locate or replace these items? With my return trip approaching in less than 2 weeks, it is crucial to resolve these matters promptly to avoid additional fees on connecting flights, especially those on other airlines. Thank you for your assistance. Maria Teresa Suárez

On May 16th, I booked two flights with British Airways. The first is from London to St. Lucia departing from London Gatwick on May 22nd and returning on June 12th (Booking Reference: PYQSLI). The second flight is from London to Moscow leaving on June 15th (Booking Reference: Q48CBL). I just checked my flight details and noticed an error on the ticket showing my return to London on June 19th, which is not correct as I should be leaving for Moscow on June 15th. I believe there might have been a system glitch. Please adjust my return flight from St. Lucia to June 12th as originally planned. You can reach me at [redacted] or +[redacted]2. Thank you. - Edward M.

I urgently need help with my flight today as I am very anxious about being denied boarding again. The situation feels like a nightmare at British Airways in Prague. When I asked how to resolve the issue and board the plane, I received no response and was simply denied without any explanation. This experience is incredibly frustrating and feels like a personal attack. The staff seems disinterested in assisting me. The flight information is as follows: Cathay Pacific Flight [redacted] on an Airbus A320 with [redacted]-[redacted] standard seats operated by British Airways.

Hello. I need assistance with my 11-year-old son's travel arrangements. He will be flying alone from Doha to Glasgow with a layover in London. I'm arranging for a non-parent guardian to accompany him but I have a concern. I tried contacting the Qatar Airways office in Doha but they are closed on Fridays. His flight leaves at 7:50 am tomorrow. I wonder if the authorization from Qatar Airways would suffice for the entire journey, including the British Airways leg from London to Glasgow. The child's name is Fares Zavier Sands Khatib, and the adult accompanying him is Diana Larrea. I appreciate any guidance on how to proceed. Thank you.

I made a booking with British Airways via yatra.com for a multi-city trip. The first leg is from Bangalore to Atlanta on May 28, [redacted], followed by Atlanta to Seattle, then Seattle to Juneau on June 13, [redacted], and lastly Juneau to Bangalore on July 4. However, upon arriving at the check-in counter in Bangalore, I was informed that due to my green card's expired status until renewed today, I couldn’t pass through London as stated on the card. Consequently, I had to take a flight via Dubai, leading to the cancellation of my entire ticket. I now need to travel from Atlanta to Juneau on June 13 and from Juneau to Bangalore on July 4. I hope to find a solution to this issue soon. Thank you.

Hello, I recently traveled solo from Perth, Australia to Newcastle, UK. I will be flying back next Friday, 07/06/19, departing from Newcastle at 11:30 a.m. on flight BA1327, with connections in London Heathrow to Doha and then to Perth, Australia.
During my recent travels, I encountered an issue with seat selection. Despite not being able to choose my seat online before departure, when I reached the airport, only middle seats were available. Due to being on Qatar Airways, they mentioned that seats were automatically allocated for all flights, and I was unable to change it. This was quite a distressing experience, especially since I am currently 6 months pregnant, facing a 23-hour journey in a middle seat.
I would appreciate if you could advise me on how to select and book my seats in advance, as I am unable to endure another long-haul flight in a middle seat for all my flights.
Thank you,
Charlotte D.

My husband is currently in Romania for a mission trip. His flight from London was delayed, causing him to miss his connection to Timisoara from Bucharest and his bag was lost in the process.
The reservation number is ME9M4M, and the claim/file number is OTPBA27753.
Although we were informed that the bag had been found and would be delivered today, it hasn't arrived yet. I've checked the ticket online and noticed that the delivery address was incorrect, and our home address and phone number were inaccurate. I have updated the information with the correct details.
I've contacted customer service twice. The first representative, Gundjen, mentioned that she couldn't provide information as my name wasn't on the ticket but confirmed the details I gave her. The second representative, Rashi, was less helpful and eventually hung up on me after providing an [redacted] number for assistance. I am frustrated by the lack of support we have received.
My husband, Larry J., relies on the items in the lost bag for his musical performances during the mission trip. It's crucial that this issue is resolved promptly.

I booked the trip for all of us with booking references P1717T and PJRP73. I received an email confirming the price with private transfers for my family, including my daughter who is totally disabled. Despite requesting a private mini bus, we were left without a transfer upon arrival and had to take a taxi. The total cost was over 12k as assured by the booking agent. Now, I am concerned as the local company said no transfer back to the airport has been arranged. I have emails of the quotes and payment confirmation where it was guaranteed that transfers were included. Unable to make expensive calls, I kindly request confirmation of the transportation provider for our return. I am willing to share the emails with all the details. Thank you, Diane Burgess
