In February [redacted], after having an eye examination at Boots in Loughton, I bought two pairs of glasses. One was for long distances, which had pricey frames with a special coating to reduce glare from oncoming traffic. I stored these glasses in my car and used them only occasionally for short local trips. Recently, I was told during another eye check-up to wear the distance glasses while driving, and I noticed the lenses were damaged. When I visited the store in Loughton, I was informed that the glasses had been damaged from being "cooked" in the car due to the heat. I was never warned about the risk of leaving them in the car during hot weather. I'm reaching out to see if there is a way to address this issue.

I am experiencing issues with Boots Opticians in the Ipswich branch. I bought my glasses there in April [redacted], and despite visiting the store five or six times since then due to various problems such as the lens falling out, ill-fitting nose piece, screws coming loose, and arms falling off, I've recently had to return because my glasses keep falling off. Although they offered to replace my frames with the same type, I'd prefer a different style after all the problems I've had. However, I've been told the lenses only fit that specific frame, which I find hard to believe. I'm disappointed as my glasses cost me £[redacted], and I expected better service from Boots.

I recently bought a product from the N7 new range and found one of the creams was unsealed and looked like it had been touched by other customers. When I asked for an exchange, the customer service at the till argued with me claiming it was fine. I had to insist on getting a new one and when I went to find another cream, the shop assistant shook the apparently fine cream to prove its quality. This made me concerned that the other products I purchased might have been tampered with as well. I don't believe the N7 team at Boots would encourage such practices.

My husband purchased hearing aids from Boots for over £3,[redacted]. The points were added to my old Boots card number [redacted]93 on December 22nd. When I tried to use the points recently, I was informed that they were not on the card. I now have a new card number [redacted][redacted]64 in the name S. Johnson since getting married. If the points cannot be located on the old card, can I bring the bill to Boots and have them transferred to the new card to ensure I don't lose them? Thank you for any assistance with this matter.

Regarding Advantage Card Issue
I have accumulated around £60 in points on my Advantage card over the years. At the start of July, I checked my balance on the Boots app only to find out that it was showing zero points. I contacted Boots via email on July 5, [redacted], to inquire about this issue, but I am yet to receive a response. When I called customer service, I was informed through a recorded message that unused points may have been cleared from cards. Due to my ongoing health issues, my daughter has been using her own Advantage card for shopping on my behalf. Is there any way for me to recover the lost points?

This morning at a chemist in Richmond, Surrey, there was only one employee, Sarah, dealing with a line of over 12 customers. Sarah handled the situation incredibly well, being efficient, courteous, and conscientious with each person. It is concerning that she was left alone to manage such a high volume of customers. According to other staff at Boots Richmond, this is not the first time this has occurred. It would be beneficial for the store to have a backup system in place for instances when a chemist is unable to work.

I visited Boots in Barking just 10 minutes ago to purchase some products. At the perfume cashier, I was offered a paper bag that I paid for. The first one didn't have handles, and the second one was slightly torn, so I asked politely for an exchange to prevent further damage. Unfortunately, the cashier's response shocked me. She rudely mentioned that she wouldn't exchange it and commented that it would end up getting wet in the rain and torn anyway. Despite the small cost of the bag, her behavior was unacceptable, especially considering I am a loyal customer of Boots. I left the store feeling surprised by her reaction.
