I recently visited BAM and decided to sign up for a membership while checking out. As a teacher, I inquired about an educator discount before finalizing the purchase. The cashier informed me that the educator discount had the same $25 annual fee as the regular membership, and I proceeded with the purchase. However, I was later informed by the manager that the educator discount is actually free and offers a 20% discount, in contrast to the 10% discount of the regular membership I had just purchased. I asked for a refund and to switch to the educator discount, but they said they were unable to process the change on the spot and provided me with a customer service number. This miscommunication left me feeling frustrated, and I hope the situation can be resolved promptly.
