I am writing in regards to my ADR holdings in Gazprom. Residing in Canada, I possess 22,[redacted] shares and firmly believe in the company's future. However, I recently learned that BNY Mellon, the entity responsible for managing the ADRs, has halted the ADR program. Upon informing my online broker, Qtrade, of my desire to convert these ADRs into Russian shares, they stated that due to their American broker's affiliation with BNY Mellon, they are unable to proceed with the conversion.
I am concerned that BNY Mellon may liquidate my ADRs without my consent, which I wish to avoid at all costs. As I am optimistic about Gazprom's prospects once the geopolitical climate stabilizes, I am keen on retaining my shares. Could you confirm if my ADR rights are still held by BNY Mellon and provide guidance on how I can access them?
I am interested in converting my ADRs to Russian shares and would appreciate your advice on the necessary steps to facilitate this transition. Thank you for your assistance and consideration in this matter.
Best regards,
B. MacTaggart

I am a sailor in the merchant navy under a foreign flag company (I am a Russian citizen). My salary is sent to an international company and account under my name. This company is called Martrust. Until February, I have been sending my salary through you as an intermediary between Martrust (via swift transfer) and Bank Primorye in Vladivostok. However, on February 23, I made another transfer to Bank Primorye through you, but the money has been with you since. I checked that the transfer arrived on February 27, [redacted]. Since Bank Primorye is under USA sanctions, the money did not reach the bank. I kindly request you to return the funds to my account in Martrust. My company, where I work, has written to you, it's only [redacted] US dollars. My company is called Roxana. Thank you for your attention and best wishes to you. I hope you will understand my situation.
