I visited Argos at Liverpool St. John's today and purchased a single BT landline phone for £20. However, upon opening the box at home, I discovered that there was no phone inside, which has left me extremely upset and frustrated. Not having a landline phone is causing me stress and anxiety as I urgently need it for my home. I made the purchase today at 18:22:29 on 28/06/[redacted] with order number A[redacted][redacted]. I paid by card. I would like a refund to be issued to my bank account and some form of voucher or apology sent to my email for the inconvenience. Yesterday, I had a distressing experience at your Kidderminster store, which left me in tears. The encounter with the manager named Simon was upsetting and humiliating. I tried to return a steamer I had purchased the day before, but he rudely refused the return citing various reasons like a missing black tie for the plug, a missing plug cover, and a ripped plastic bag holding a container. Simon's aggressive behavior towards me as a 73-year-old disabled lady was unacceptable. Despite my offer to bring back the missing items, he threatened that other stores wouldn't accept the return. Another customer witnessed the incident and comforted me. I hope this message reaches the appropriate department to address the situation and obtain a refund. It's important to hear both sides of the story from the Kidderminster store.

I bought the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro phone in May [redacted]. Unfortunately, in April [redacted], the screen suddenly stopped working and became unreadable. The screen had briefly blanked out before but would come back on. I have not dropped the phone or mistreated it in any way that would cause such a problem. Due to health issues at the time of purchase, I forgot that I bought the phone from Argos, instead thinking it was from Amazon. After unsuccessfully trying to locate the seller through Amazon, I now realize it was from Argos.
I consulted a professional mobile phone repairer who could not find a genuine replacement screen for this model. They suggested I reach out to the seller for assistance. Since the issue occurred within the warranty period of 12 months, I kindly request a replacement or refund for the non-functioning phone.

I purchased a mobile phone from my nearby Argos in High Wycombe. The next day, I attempted to return the phone as I was dissatisfied with its functionality. Argos staff refused the return citing a policy that exempts products from return within 30 days if the security seal is broken. I explained that I needed to open the box to use the phone. I have reached out via email to the customer service contact provided by Argos over the phone. I am currently awaiting a response. The packaging and the phone itself are in good condition.

I purchased a Winslow Grey single headboard, Divan, and mattress from Argos totaling £[redacted].95. The delivery was scheduled for July 4, [redacted]. When it arrived, the bed had 6 legs but only 5 were delivered. After contacting Argos, a new delivery date was set for July 8, [redacted]. However, the delivery only contained another headboard instead of the missing leg.
Another delivery is scheduled for July 10, [redacted], in hopes that the missing leg will be included, but I am not very confident that it will be resolved.

Subject: Complaint Regarding Samsung Tablet Purchased from Argos

I recently bought a Samsung tablet from Argos and paid £[redacted].00 at the time of purchase. Unfortunately, I encountered an issue with the tablet being bent. I brought it back to Argos a month later due to personal circumstances. Argos informed me that the tablet needed to be sent off for repair, which they estimated would take 21 days. After three weeks had passed, Argos contacted me to inform that there would be a charge of £[redacted] for repair, citing accidental damage, which I disputed as I believed it to be a manufacturing fault. I requested the tablet be returned to me, which took an additional week, making the entire process last for over 6 weeks. Despite contacting Samsung, Argos, and Argos head office, I have not received a satisfactory resolution to this issue. The tablet remains bent, and I am disappointed with the lack of assistance from the store.

I am in need of a big favor if possible. Upon moving into my new home, I discovered a Habbit dining table (HAB ASPER DINING TABLE WHITE [redacted] PK1/2) left behind by the previous owners. Unfortunately, the table has been taken apart, and all of the screws are missing. Despite my efforts, I have been unable to locate the specific screws required for this table through various channels, including the unhelpful Argos helpline spare parts.

Avoid purchasing rings from Argos. The ring received is significantly smaller than advertised, making it impossible to return after customization. I purchased an air fryer on sale for £79 for my dad, who has Parkinson's and dementia. Unfortunately, the item hasn't arrived at the store for pickup as expected. After contacting Argos multiple times, I was informed that due to an error, the air fryer was not dispatched or got lost in transit. Now, I am being asked to wait for a refund and then reorder the same item at the increased price of £[redacted] since it's no longer on sale. It seems unjust to raise the price from £79 to £[redacted] after already taking the payment. I have alerted the local newspaper and national newspapers about this issue. I would like to address an issue I have encountered with a recent purchase. I ordered a bed which was delivered to a different address two weeks ago. Unfortunately, upon arrival, the bed had noticeable marks on it and, to my dismay, it does not fit the intended room. Despite working long hours every day, I am eager to have this matter resolved. My daughter, who received the delivery, has been unable to have it removed from her house for two weeks as it is now an obstruction. It is imperative that the bed is collected and returned promptly as it does not serve its purpose in the intended room. I picked up my Acer Aspire laptop on September 18th, but I was not happy with the keyboard. I went back on the same day to see if I could exchange it, but the staff refused. After contacting customer service for advice, they recommended going to a different branch. Trying to speak to the manager was unsuccessful as I was informed they were unavailable. Despite mentioning Argos' return policy posted online, the employees were impolite and insisted they couldn't provide a replacement due to the item's high value.

I recently ordered an Apple Watch Ultra (order number [redacted]), but unfortunately, the box arrived dirty and in less than perfect condition. I bought a Bush chiller from Argos for £[redacted]. After a year, the chiller started freezing up inside repeatedly, despite following all care instructions. Support stated it was out of warranty and referred me back to Argos. Argos advised getting an expensive independent report on the product.
