Hello, I am Mr. Ragnar Delahunt. Yesterday, I was expecting a washing machine delivery from Argos that was ordered for me by the job centre in Stafford for a white goods grant. I waited all day but the delivery did not arrive. My address is 9 St Michaels Close, Adbaston, Stafford ST20 0QF. I hope someone can assist me in finding out what happened as the delivery driver did not provide any updates. With four children, the laundry is piling up including the school uniforms. Yesterday, I had a sofa delivered, and when the two delivery men arrived, I asked them to place the packages against the wall where the old sofa stood. However, they left quickly without assembling the sofa. I was let down because when my mother had her sofa delivered, the delivery men had assembled it for her. This experience with Argos has left me disappointed. My daughter, who contributed half the money for the sofa, has been upset about the situation all night.

I had a disappointing experience with Argos. I purchased a Samsung S6 Lite during a university promotion on August 19th, [redacted], in-store. I was promised details on how to access the £[redacted] Sainsbury's vouchers included in the promotion. After claiming online and not receiving the voucher code, I emailed Argos and submitted my receipt as requested. Now, they are saying the receipt is not recognized. I was communicating with a representative named Vickie, but she has ceased responding to my emails. I initially saw this promotion online, then visited Argos to confirm it before making a purchase in-store based on this offer.

I have purchased and paid for 8 items, but only received 3 at the store. Despite multiple calls and visits, I am still waiting for the remaining items. This caused me to disappoint my grandson on his birthday. After requesting to speak to the management and promised a callback within 24 hours, I received no response. I feel that I have been misled and poorly treated by Argos. I am extremely frustrated with this experience and will be taking my future business to Amazon instead.

Hello, I recently purchased an item from Argos for a baby shower gift, but I encountered delivery delays. The order confirmation number is [redacted]. The package, slated for Saturday delivery, did not arrive until Monday, causing me to buy an additional gift last minute and borrow money to do so. Argos states I will only receive a refund for the late delivery after 30 days, which is an inconvenience. I am seeking compensation for half of the additional expenses I incurred due to this situation.

I sent a parcel to your Alloa store via Royal Mail for a signature. The tracking information shows it was accepted and signed for on the 12th of October. However, when the buyer went to collect it, it was not there. It was signed for by someone named Scott, but the store claims no one by that name works there. I am concerned and seeking guidance on how to recover my parcel or seek compensation. Thank you, Stephen J.

I recently had a parcel delivered to Argos Alloa via Royal Mail for signature. Unfortunately, when the buyer went to collect it, it was not there. The parcel was signed for by an Argos employee, and it seems like the parcel may have been stolen. I am currently trying to reclaim my money from Argos, and I've been on hold on their helpline for over an hour. This situation is completely unacceptable. The parcel was supposed to be delivered to Argos Unit 2, Thistle Brewery, Alloa FK10 1JY.

I received my Argos Harry 3-seat sofa on 04/10/23 without legs. I contacted Argos, and they assured me that the legs would be sent separately. However, it's been three weeks, and I have yet to receive them. I require the legs by 1/11/23, or else I will return the sofa within the 30-day return window. Unfortunately, I did not keep the damaged packaging, but I will proceed with the return on the mentioned date as the sofa is currently unusable due to its low height. I believe this issue will be resolved once the legs arrive.

Hello, I purchased a vacuum cleaner from Hoover at the Argos store in Perry Bar, Birmingham on September 24th, [redacted], along with monthly insurance cover. Unfortunately, I noticed some damage to the small plastic lid of the dustbin. Upon reporting the issue to Argos on October 21st, [redacted], they refused to replace or repair the item and directed me to contact the manufacturer. After reaching out to the manufacturer and obtaining an uplift number from them, I faced further difficulties as Argos denied the replacement and behaved rudely towards me. Despite being a loyal customer, I was met with ill-mannered and unsupportive staff at Argos during my multiple visits to address the problem. Frustrated with their service, I left my product at the store on their request for further resolution. Now, the manufacturer has agreed to send me a new dustbin for my vacuum, and upon revisiting Argos, they claimed to have misplaced the item. At this point, I am requesting Argos to deliver my vacuum cleaner to my address directly.

Dear Argos Customer Service, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent order experience. On October 25th, I placed an order for a Samsung washing machine (order number: [redacted]83) at the Heaton Park store. I was informed by Gail that the order included installation, which I paid an additional £19.99 for old appliance recycling. I took a day off work for the delivery, only to find out the delivery men were unable to install the machine due to a lack of information and tools. I am extremely disappointed with this experience and frustrated by the inconvenience caused. I purchased a Samsung washing machine from Argos and it was delivered on the 24th of October. However, they refused to install it as I didn't have a single plug socket, citing it as their policy. When I requested the bolts be removed from the back, they left a spanner in the machine and departed. After three days, the machine developed a fault where the drum banged against the side, and the spin cycle wouldn't finish. I contacted Argos, and they will collect the machine on the 9th of November and replace it with a different model. The new purchase incurred a £6.95 delivery fee, and I will have to wait 30 days for the £[redacted] refund.

I purchased a Bosch tumble dryer on November 23rd, [redacted]. On October 4th, it was repaired with a new panel for error 90, but now there is a continuous banging noise during operation. I have scheduled another service call for November 14th with the same contact provided for the first issue. They mentioned sending repair details to Bosch instead of me, which has been confusing. I am eager to resolve this as my warranty is only valid for 2 weeks. The job number for October 4th repair is [redacted]. One of the team members, Ruby, mentioned yesterday that an exchange could be considered with proper documentation of the faults. I recently attempted to recycle a small electrical appliance at an Argos store but was informed they could only accept the item if I had originally purchased it from them and had the receipt as proof. I was under the impression that any electrical appliance could be recycled when purchasing a new one, regardless of where the old appliance was bought. Unfortunately, I do not have the receipt for the 8-year-old item and cannot remember where it was originally purchased.
