American Electric Power Company, Inc. Customer Service Issues

I am writing on behalf of my elderly mother, a resident in a housing facility in Laredo, Texas. She previously had a contract with your provider, First Choice Power. Recently, an individual visited her claiming she would receive a discount as a reward. This person, who only provided a first name and a phone number, improperly persuaded her to switch companies. Now, she is facing early cancellation charges, and First Choice Power is not disclosing the identity of this individual who made the unauthorized change. I am seeking assistance in identifying the new company, locating the individual responsible, and filing a formal complaint. Additionally, we are requesting the dismissal of the early cancellation charges.
