I recently left my job at Acme and had an uncomfortable encounter with the store manager, Wayne. Despite being a former employee, I was asked to leave the break room, which had never been an issue before. Another worker informed me that I could not be there as I was no longer employed there, which was fine, but the tone was condescending. While shopping, I saw Wayne multiple times, leading me to feel uncomfortable and followed. This made my shopping experience upsetting, and I refrained from purchasing certain items due to the situation. As a loyal customer, I have always engaged with the staff but this time felt unwelcome and unsure if I can return for shopping. Leaving my job was a difficult decision to take care of my sick daughter, and the treatment I received was unexpected and disappointing.

I used to buy Sheepherder bread at Von's in Menifee regularly. Recently, the bread has changed - it's smaller but the price remains the same. The bread is now covered in flour and doesn't have the same appearance or taste as before. I have always trusted Von's for this item, but with the changes, I will need to find another place to buy it. I hope other companies partnering with Von's can maintain the quality they once had instead of producing an inferior product. Additionally, the Boston strawberry cake now contains custard instead of cream in the middle, which is disappointing compared to Von's original recipe. It's important for the public to be aware of these changes. To uphold your reputation, it's crucial to offer good quality products rather than just releasing anything into the market assuming customer satisfaction.

On April 11, [redacted], at 7:30 PM, my husband and I had an unfortunate experience at Albertsons Store [redacted] in Gardena, CA. We encountered a manager named Nick Casas, who we had issues with. During an inquiry about our Monopoly tickets, Nick disregarded our concerns and treated us disrespectfully and rudely. When we decided to return our items, he continued to be disrespectful and refused to provide a cash refund, insisting on a gift card instead. Despite our objections, Nick delayed the process and made us wait nearly an hour and a half. His unprofessional behavior and treatment of customers left us deeply disappointed. We left the store at 9:00 PM with only a gift card and without groceries for dinner. I will not be returning to this store due to Nick Casas's handling of the situation. A complaint has been made, and we have video evidence of the encounter from start to finish.

Hello, I recently won three different "10 Bonus Ticket" Monopoly prizes. When I attempted to redeem them at a store, there was an issue during the transaction despite spending over $[redacted] on Monopoly items to acquire extra tickets. Unfortunately, I am missing the 302BA piece, which I really need. The manager removed the bonus ticket markers, suggesting it might resolve the problem but it did not work, and now the tickets are missing. I was not refunded for my 30 tickets, which is disappointing since I have spent a significant amount at your store to collect them. I would greatly appreciate if you could manually add the coupons back to my account or send them to me by mail to avoid further inconvenience.

I am experiencing a frustrating issue with my Albertsons and Safeway accounts. Both accounts are associated with the same phone number. While I can successfully log in to my Safeway account, I encounter problems when trying to access the "just for U" feature in the Albertsons app using the same password. Moreover, when attempting to create a new account on Albertsons using my phone number, I receive a message indicating that the number is already registered across their stores. The instructions to sign in with my email and password do not resolve the issue.
I find this situation incredibly bothersome.

On May 4th around 6 p.m., I bought chicken breast at Albertsons #[redacted] in Las Vegas, NV, but it was spoiled. I returned to the store on May 5th at 2:02 p.m. to address the issue. I spoke to a helpful bagger named KenDriay who tried to assist me by calling for the store manager. Despite KenDriay's efforts, when Nicole, the cashier, was asked to call the manager, she seemed uninterested and unhelpful, continuing to scan products. Eventually, a man who was not the manager offered to help after some initial confusion. When I mentioned the spoiled chicken, he requested me to wait in the customer service line. I am disappointed with the lack of customer service I experienced from Nicole, Steven the shift manager, and how KenDriay's request was handled. Despite the inconvenience of returning to the store and the area's challenges, it's unacceptable to be treated this way.

I recently waited in line at the grocery store for around 20-25 minutes while Judy, the customer service representative, assisted the customers ahead of me. I just needed a rain check for an item on sale, but the delay was due to customers playing Monopoly and asking multiple questions. Despite the delay, I appreciate the helpful butchers in the meat department who have always been responsive to my inquiries. The store's checkout wait times can be excessive, and today's experience led me to call but resulted in a long hold time. I live nearby and have even opened a credit card account at another store due to the service issues. I hope the store can operate more efficiently and update their systems to focus on better service rather than "stupid games." Thank you for addressing this concern. - Mike E. On Friday, May 10th, [redacted], I had an exceptionally unpleasant encounter with a very disrespectful "Check Out Clerk" at the Albertsons store on [redacted] Crenshaw Blvd in Los Angeles around 6 or 7 pm. Even though I don't know his name, he is of African descent. Gracie, the supervisor, advised me to contact the manager, but unfortunately, they never answer the phone at this location. Gracie is aware of who the clerk is and insisted that I should call because she knows this lack of customer service happens frequently. It seems that the male clerks believe they can speak inappropriately due to the demographic of the store's customers. The clerk interrupted my conversation with another lady by disrespecting me in front of her, implying I was trying to steal a bag. This behavior is unacceptable, and action should be taken. If this issue is not resolved, I am considering pursuing legal action for harassment. My name is Isaac Clay, and you can reach me at [redacted]. Thank you. Isaac Clay.

O Organics sells a 32 oz shelf-stable soy milk that recently changed its carton shape from a rectangle to a cube. However, along with the new shape, the company also altered the ingredient list. The original carton had no carrageenan, which was the reason for my purchase. The new packaging lists carrageenan as an ingredient, prompting me to stop buying it. I am concerned that others may not have noticed the change in ingredients and assumed only the carton shape had been updated, potentially misleading customers. Fortunately, the 64 oz refrigerated soy milk from O Organics still remains carrageenan free. From now on, I plan to carefully check the ingredient list every time I purchase any O Organics products.

I recently visited my local Albertsons store #[redacted] with the assistance of two boys as I'm currently on crutches. We attempted to take advantage of the soda sale, but the cashier refused, assuming we lived in the same household. Despite my attempts to clarify the situation with the manager, I was told we couldn't make separate purchases. I felt frustrated by the assumption made by the staff. Can Albertsons clarify their policy on household purchases and ensure it's clearly communicated in the ads? I was disappointed as I planned to compensate the boys with the sodas. My transaction number is [redacted] 4 [redacted].

I have had ongoing issues with being overcharged at my local Albertsons on Imperial Hwy in Brea, CA. Recently, I started reviewing my receipts and have found discrepancies every time. I have brought this to the attention of Manager Jim Gonzales and while they refund the overcharged amount, I find it frustrating to constantly have to return to the store. The overcharges range from $0.50 to $4.00 per item, with the most recent being $2.25 on creamer. I have provided evidence with pictures or my Just for You account, but the problem persists. I feel like my time is being wasted, and if they are overcharging every customer by a small amount, this could add up to a significant sum. I hope for a resolution to this ongoing issue. Thank you. - JS

I have a gluten intolerance, so finding tasty food I can enjoy is rare for me. I visited my local Albertsons to buy Ballpark frozen hamburger patties, only to discover they have been removed. The staff informed me it was a corporate decision and nothing could be done. I expressed my frustration because it now pushes me to shop elsewhere. I am not a fan of the signature select frozen patties as they cannot guarantee no cross-contamination. I believe it's vital for corporate decisions to consider the needs of individuals with food allergies like mine.

During my recent visits, I encountered multiple incidents involving untrained dogs at the store. My psychiatric service dog plays a crucial role in my well-being by assisting me with tasks related to my mental health. Unfortunately, on three occasions, a young German Shepherd puppy has caused distress to my service dog. The first encounter involved the puppy getting too close to my service dog, startling her. In another instance, the uncontrolled puppy was off-leash, disrupting the environment and frightening my service dog. The owner claimed the puppy was a service dog, yet the behavior and lack of training suggested otherwise. Additionally, there was a concerning incident where a large black dog aggressively approached my service dog, prompting a defensive reaction. I have observed an influx of pets in this store, raising safety concerns for service dogs like mine. I urge the store to educate its staff on service dog etiquette and awareness of their role. As a reminder, it is within your rights to inquire about a dog's service status and training. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

On September 19th, at the Vons store located on Harbor Blvd and Adams, I bought 4 Signature Cafe Salads, 2 BLT with Chicken for 7.99 each, and 2 Caesar Chicken Salads for the same price.
The next day, my husband ate one of the BLT with Chicken and Bacon salads as his only meal. Unfortunately, he experienced severe stomach discomfort, heartburn, wheezing, and gastrointestinal issues for over an hour. Due to his existing health conditions (scleroderma, emphysema, COPD, and Acute Chronic Asthma), this incident was extremely challenging for him as he is homebound and needs medical assistance at home.
I contacted the Vons Service Desk about the situation, and despite their initial promise to refund all uneaten salads, I faced resistance upon returning to the store. The employee I spoke with argued that the expiration date was before the incident date, but I know that foodborne illnesses like salmonella can occur despite expiration dates.
The store only refunded me for 3 of the salads, refusing to acknowledge the one that caused my husband's illness. This treatment was unacceptable, and lacking an apology or full reimbursement, I decided we will no longer shop at Vons.
Sincerely, Joette A.

I visited Albertson this morning at 7:30 am to purchase Carnival grapes. The price displayed was $3.99, but the manager, Luis, argued with me. Despite explaining the retail practices I am familiar with from my work experience, he refused to honor the displayed price. Luis questioned the placement of the price tag, suggesting it could have been misplaced by another customer. I insisted that the price was there when I arrived and I wanted to pay that amount. He continued to insist on $5.00 for the grapes, but I decided to leave the store. This has not been my only negative experience at this particular Albertsons on Chester and Brundage Lane in Bakersfield, CA. My past encounter left me unsatisfied and frustrated.

I suspect that an HR assistant at the SLC DC altered my husband's time cards to conceal absences. Upon receiving copies of the time cards, it was evident that some entries had been modified, indicating he punched in and out within a few minutes. Despite the HR assistant claiming a department change, the hours recorded did not align with his pay stubs. Uncertain of the policy on retroactively altering time cards, I urge an investigation and clarification on the matter. Although uncertain about privacy issues, my husband did authorize the HR assistant to communicate with me. Despite multiple attempts, reaching the HR manager has been unsuccessful, leading me to believe that calls are being filtered by the assistant.

Yesterday, I, Jerry Witch, was at the Albertsons on 14th St. and Market in San Diego. I purchased Kitty Kat Hertz stew for $1.50 and jelly on sale for $3.99. At self-checkout, the total came to $7.73, but I noticed the jelly was priced incorrectly. The lady at the checkout laughed and let me take the jelly back.
Later, another lady was adding red sales stickers without informing customers, increasing prices. I contacted a district manager with area code [redacted], who seemed shocked. I suggested a small gift card as compensation. When I returned to the store, they denied everything, prompting me to share my experience with you via text message.
Thank you, JLY. Jerry wishes to create [redacted] flyers to inform the public about this incident. Do you have any questions?

While I was waiting in line at the store, a man abruptly cut in front of me, tossed a bag of cheese onto the conveyor belt, and then disappeared. When it was my turn to check out, he returned and tried to claim his spot by the register, insisting that he had left to fetch something and it was now his turn. I stood my ground, explaining to him and the cashier that he had walked away without saying anything, forfeiting his place in line. Despite my explanations, the man and I got into a heated argument, with him even involving the manager to resolve the dispute. I was shocked by the lack of intervention from the staff and how they seemed to tolerate such rude behavior. The whole incident left me feeling frustrated and disrespected by both the man and the store's response.

Dear Albertsons Management,
I am a long-time neighbor living near the Albertsons on 83rd Avenue and Deer Valley Road in Peoria, AZ. Having witnessed the recent store remodel, I must commend the beautiful results. However, my shopping experiences at the store have consistently been disappointing due to poor management and untrained employees. Instances such as extended waiting times at the pharmacy, lack of attention during checkout, and unhelpful behavior have left me frustrated. These issues suggest a need for improved staff training to match the quality of the store renovations. Despite the store's appeal, my loyalty now lies with a different retailer due to the consistent service shortcomings at Albertsons.
Sincerely,
Larry Wakefield

Hello, my name is Leslie M. and I reside at [redacted] Highway 90 E, Lake Charles, LA. I can be reached at [redacted]. Today, on October 8, [redacted], I visited Albertsons located at [redacted] Ryan Street in South Lake Charles, Louisiana, to fill a prescription after leaving the ER feeling very sick. Despite being 55 years old without insurance, I had a coupon from the ER doctor for one of the three prescribed medications. The staff member informed me that they couldn't accept the coupon code provided but found another price, slightly higher, citing I had to get the medication. When I requested to check the prices of the other meds due to financial constraints, I was given a price of $17 for one. Emotionally overwhelmed, I asked if only two could be filled, but was told they couldn't due to the prescription format. Ultimately, the total cost of the three medications was $33.71, causing significant financial strain. Although I acknowledge that this isn't the fault of Albertsons, the staff member's demeanor made me feel disrespected and insignificant. This negative experience has led me to decide against obtaining medications from Albertsons in the future. Kindness and empathy can greatly impact customer interactions, and I urge them to consider this going forward. Thank you for your time.
