Dear Gentle Customer Service,
I recently switched my mobile number ([redacted]) from Vodafone to Airtel at the Airtel Store located at E Gandhi Maidan Rd, beside Hotel Maurya, Danapur Nizamat, Mithapur, Patna, Bihar [redacted], India. The porting was successful; however, I am facing difficulties connecting to the network while in abroad (Saudi Arabia).
I tried reaching out to [redacted], but the response provided was unsatisfactory. The email I received requested to register my email, but I have not received the OTP on my number to complete the registration.
I kindly request a prompt resolution to this issue as this number is essential for all my accounts and services. I am unable to use the services without network connectivity in Saudi Arabia.
I appreciate your quick assistance in resolving this matter. For further information, please contact me at +[redacted]85.
Thank you,
Prabhakar

I recharged [redacted] naira, but the credit disappeared without making any calls or texts. This has happened before, but now it's frustrating me. I can't load credit or buy data peacefully. I searched online for Airtel customer service numbers, but none helped. I recently switched to Airtel and can't tolerate this issue. I demand a refund and I'm really upset. I still have 200naira credit left, waiting to be loaded, but I need a resolution before it vanishes. Also, stop sending me messages for music or jokes as I never subscribed to them. I would have blocked them if not for the credit alerts. Please, urgently resolve my problem.

My VIVO Y91 is currently displaying no signal with my Airtel SIM card. I am currently on national roaming, having had signal in my hometown before turning on 'Airplane mode' during my plane journey. Upon arrival in another state, where I currently find myself, I am unable to pick up any signal for three days now. I have attempted various troubleshooting methods such as rebooting, adjusting roaming settings, manually changing network carriers (resulting in a network registration failure notice), and removing and reinserting the SIM card multiple times with no success. Feeling frustrated, I am now searching online for alternative solutions. Your help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.

I recently purchased additional data from Airtel for specific reasons using the available options. I selected an option that indicated my browser should stop once the data is depleted, not to renew the subscription automatically. It has been frustrating to see my subscription renewed without my consent, causing annoyance and dissatisfaction. I feel it is unnecessary and I am considering blocking my line due to this disobedient practice, which feels like cheating to me.

Yesterday, I lost my mobile. I purchased a new SIM with the same number "[redacted]" in Koramangala, Bangalore. The store said it would be activated within 4 hours, but it's still not working. Today, I visited the store again, and they mentioned that the SIM was activated, but there might be a technical issue with the tower not showing correctly due to the number belonging to Tamil Nadu. They raised a ticket for this issue, and the ticket number is RITM[redacted]. I kindly request assistance in resolving this matter promptly.

I am an Airtel prepaid user with the number ending in [redacted] residing in Wayanad, Kerala. Since last night, my Airtel network has been unavailable. I am unable to use the internet or make calls as there is no network coverage indicated by zero range bars. When attempting to call, the prompt says the phone is switched off. In times of crisis like the current rain flood, access to internet and mobile services is crucial. People rely on their phones for safety and emergency communication. While I initially thought it was a temporary technical issue, it has been a full 24 hours without network. It's disappointing that Airtel hasn't resolved this while other providers like Idea, Vodafone, BSNL, and Jio have been operating smoothly here. It's disheartening that such a prominent company is neglecting its customers in this situation.

Activating iMessage on my iPhone costs Rs. 5 each time, even when I haven't removed the SIM card or restarted the device. I've learned that the activation involves sending an SMS to a UK number, which is why the charge is incurred.
I'm interested in finding the best recharge option, like a rate cutter, that specifically reduces the cost of sending international SMS to the UK. While there are rate cutters available for international roaming and ISD calls, I'm specifically looking for information on rate cutters for international SMS through Airtel.

I urgently require assistance.
I am currently outside the country in Australia since the end of May [redacted].
I have two concerns:
1. I am questioning why my bill is over [redacted] rupees when I have not used my phone since May 21st. Normally, my rental charges are around [redacted]-[redacted] rupees.
2. My phone has been disconnected, and I am unable to receive an OTP for a debit card transaction. This is hindering me from paying my Airtel bill.
I kindly ask for the following resolutions:
1. Recalculate and adjust my bill accordingly.
2. Reactivate my phone immediately without any limitations so I can receive an OTP.
3. I only require my phone for OTPs during online transactions. Please provide a plan with minimal or no rental charges for this specific purpose during my stay in Australia.
Upon my return to India in December, I plan to deactivate my current SIM or convert it to prepaid to avoid any further billing discrepancies.
Kindly confirm the resolutions via email or provide me with an India contact number I can reach from Australia.

Your outlets refuse to sell SIM cards to foreigners despite presenting an Australian passport and an OCI card. It seems they prefer easy money to working properly. Despite offering to provide proof as a father and all necessary documents, I was told to buy one and give it to my son. I doubt you will bother to respond, but this issue is very frustrating. My son's only mistake was not buying a SIM card at the airport. I visited your representative near Telibag Chauraha in Lucknow today, and the experience was painful. My name is Vinod Prakash; you can reach me at [redacted] or 0[redacted]. I hope you address this matter promptly, or I will have to take further steps, which will be regrettable.

My name is Mrs. Prema Angelo, and I reside in Natasha Golf View Apartments in Domlur, Bangalore. My fixed Airtel line number is [redacted]0, with the intercom number for my apartment being [redacted]. When I initially got the Airtel connection, I chose not to have the option for making outside calls since I already had a BSNL connection and a mobile phone. I solely wanted the Airtel connection for making intercom calls within the apartment complex, such as to the gate, manager's office, or other apartments in Natasha with intercom facilities. However, for the past month, I have been experiencing issues with both intercom and outside calls. I am unable to make contact with anyone within Natasha using the intercom, and no one inside the complex can reach me through it either. Despite not being able to make or receive calls for nearly a month, I cleared my last Airtel bill on September 13. I would appreciate it if this issue could be rectified. Thank you for your attention. Mrs. Prema Angelo

To the Airtel team,
I am experiencing issues with my Airtel Network. Everything was working fine until yesterday, but suddenly this morning, I lost the network. Upon checking, the Access Point Name (APN) for Airtel was deleted and empty. Even after attempting to add the APN settings following guides online, I have not been successful. Resetting the default APN did not resolve the problem. This is my primary contact number for work and other essential communications, and the inability to make calls or use the internet is causing significant inconvenience. I have attached a screenshot for reference. I kindly request your prompt assistance in resolving this matter as it is crucial to me. A quick response from your team would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

For the past 8 months, I have been reporting that I am not receiving any incoming calls or SMS. Despite multiple visits to the Airtel store in Bharuch, Gujarat, the issue remains unresolved. Last month, I did not receive any information regarding my bill amount and due date, causing me to miss the payment deadline due to Airtel's error. I pay a monthly rental of [redacted] RS plus additional taxes but do not receive the service I am paying for. I question why I should be charged a late fee under these circumstances. Despite purchasing a new SIM card for the same number, the problem persists with no incoming calls or SMS. If this matter is not addressed promptly, I may have no choice but to escalate it to the consumer forum.

I recently switched to Airtel from another network, but for the last 3 months, I have had issues with my phone number not being available. After the hairstyling issue was resolved, I was told I would receive a call in a month and later in 3 months, but my number is still not available. I have not had any luck getting the number if Airtel releases it. Please assist me in getting this number. I have already paid the full bill amount. My number is [redacted]. Any help in getting this number would be appreciated. Thank you.

I used to have a Tata Docomo number and was advised to switch to an Airtel SIM. Since the number was not under my name, I was advised to switch to a postpaid plan for 3 months and then switch to prepaid under my name. After agreeing to this, I paid Rs. [redacted] for the process. However, it's been 3 months now, and I haven't been contacted for address verification. Despite visiting the store 4-5 times, I have received no response. Two weeks ago, the store manager mentioned that switching to postpaid wasn't necessary for a name change. They explained that I could change the name and switch to prepaid with Airtel. After I stopped receiving calls and network on my number, the manager assured me that the number would be deactivated and reactivated after visiting the store. Although I visited the store again, the number was still not deactivated. The store said it would take a day for deactivation, but it has been a week now without any network or verification. The store advised me to check if the number was deactivated by using the SIM in a different phone, which I tried. Even after these attempts, the number remains inactive. I have been continuously reaching out to the store and contacting customer care, but the issue persists. I kindly request the activation of my number.

I recharged my DTH account with Rs.[redacted] for a 3-month plan two weeks ago. Recently, I received an unexpected SMS mentioning a plan change request would be implemented on 2nd October, which I did not request. Subsequently, I got an alert stating my balance was only Rs.35. While watching an HD channel, it suddenly stopped as it was supposedly not part of my package, even though I have subscribed to HD channels. I suspect something suspicious going on as I have not made any changes. I tried to reach customer service for assistance, but haven't had success yet. I want my original plan reinstated promptly and my correct balance updated. I urge them to investigate and take action to prevent this issue from happening to other customers. I have already contacted them at [redacted], and I have received an acknowledgment.

The mobile data signal from Airtel in the JHAJRA area of DEHRADUN district is extremely weak causing frequent disconnections and difficulties in getting reconnected. Being a resident of JHAJRA, Premnagar, Dehradun, UK (PIN [redacted]), I have been experiencing this issue for the past two months. Even after recharging my data pack, the poor mobile data connection persists for three to seven days.

Dear Sir, my mobile number is 98[redacted]4, and I have been using Airtel 4G for the past 5 years. The Airtel 4G network in my area, District Bikaner, Tehsil Poogal, is performing poorly. The tower is installed around 5 kilometers away from me in Aaduri, causing constant network issues for us. Please resolve the network problem in our area; we would be grateful. There are many Airtel users in our area.

I recently switched my Docomo sim [redacted] to Airtel at the Vishrantwadi Airtel store. I paid INR [redacted] to activate my postpaid sim, but unfortunately, it has not been activated yet. The Airtel store executive mentioned that someone would visit for address verification. When the verifier came, he left without properly verifying my address and now avoids my calls. My Paytm app is not functional as it is linked to the mentioned number. This situation is causing me a lot of trouble. Please assist me with this matter. Thank you.

Hello!
I have been experiencing issues with my Airtel sim for the past few months. An invalid input box keeps popping up every 3 to 5 seconds, making it difficult to use my phone.
I have tried inserting the sim card into different phones, but the problem persists across all devices. This indicates that there might be an issue with the Airtel sim card or network.
I have been unable to reach customer care advisors at [redacted].
I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter promptly.
Sim number: [redacted]
Thank you,
Airtel customer

I switched from Vodafone to Airtel about a month ago based on recommendations from friends and my son. However, I have been experiencing poor network coverage compared to what I had with Vodafone. I even tried rebooting my phone and purchased a new iPhone XR to troubleshoot, but the issue persists. My friends have good network reception, which adds to my frustration. I have attempted to contact customer support but have been unsuccessful. I am considering returning to Vodafone unless this issue is resolved promptly.
Regards,
Dharmesh
