I have a flight booked (Ticket number [redacted][redacted]) from Toronto, Canada to Kolkata, India for October 7, [redacted]. Due to an urgent trip, I need to cancel. However, when I tried canceling online at 2 AM EST, I received an error message. The error states, "Sorry, we were unable to retrieve your refund details, please try again shortly. If the problem persists, call our Contact Centre." When attempting to reach Air India via phone, I have been in the queue for 2 hours and 30 minutes without success, and the queue number keeps increasing. Waiting for that long on an expensive call is not acceptable. I urgently need help canceling my ticket before my scheduled travel.

I have two tickets from the Covid times that I was informed can be rescheduled at any time as they are open tickets. I have been attempting to call the helpline to reschedule them since yesterday, but the calls keep dropping. Please assist me with this matter. Kindly arrange a call back on this number: [redacted]. Hello, I am traveling today with my husband and our 5-month-old baby via United Airlines from Delhi to Chennai. United Airlines permits us one carry-on and one checked bag each. We opted to purchase three additional checked bags for $[redacted], which should be valid for our entire journey according to United Airlines guidelines. I would appreciate it if you could verify that the extra baggage fees we paid will also cover us at the Delhi airport and that we won't be charged again. Thank you for your help.

Hello, I am traveling to London with two children on the 15th. The airline allows me to carry two pieces of luggage each weighing 23kgs, as well as a 7kg cabin bag for each of us, totaling 116kgs for all three of us. I will need to bring 5 large suitcases and 2 cabin bags to meet this weight limit. Given the weight, I find it challenging especially with the children. I contacted customer service and they suggested using cardboard boxes to lighten my load. However, I still need confirmation from Air India in Chennai to prevent any issues later on. Hello, I have a flight scheduled for tomorrow at 11:15 AM EST from Newark International Airport to Delhi with a connection to Hyderabad. I received an email this morning informing me that the Newark to Delhi flight has been rescheduled to 6:25 PM EST, a delay of 7 hours. However, my connecting flight from Delhi to Hyderabad remains the same. Upon arriving in Delhi on December 7th at 7:25 PM IST, my connecting flight is still scheduled for 5:15 PM IST. I understand that I may need to adjust my connecting flight and I was wondering if the airline is responsible for this change. I need some clarification on the baggage allowance for my upcoming trip from Hyderabad to Manchester. My Air India booking reference is JFG6P. I have been struggling to access my booked international flight tickets for the past two weeks. Despite reaching out to several people, I have not received any helpful assistance. Each time I call, I am instructed to speak with the ticketing department. Unfortunately, no one answers the phone or my calls get disconnected. I was even assured a callback within 10-15 minutes, but it never happened. With my flight looming in just two weeks, the lack of confirmation is causing me great frustration. Traveling from up north to Delhi airport is dependent on this confirmation, and I am at a loss without the ability to communicate effectively to resolve this issue.

Hello, I recently booked a flight from Tokyo to Delhi and a return flight from Delhi to Tokyo. Due to the border closure, my Delhi to Tokyo flight was canceled. I have been attempting to reschedule my flight for the past two weeks by reaching out to Air India customer service. Unfortunately, I have not had any success in resolving my issue. I missed my morning flight on 21st December at 09:45 with PNR number JMBHW for five passengers: B. Sharma, K. Sharma, N. Sharma, K. Sharma, and B. Sharma. This was our first flight experience which I saved up for the last 6 months to gift to my family. Unfortunately, I mistook the flight time for the evening and we missed it. Upon realizing my mistake, I contacted Air India's helpdesk around 7 PM on the same day. The executive explained the no-show charges and advised me to pay for rescheduling. Despite agreeing to the charges, I faced challenges in reaching the ticketing team as my calls kept disconnecting after long wait times. Eventually, I was informed that my PNR had been cancelled. I am disappointed with the customer service experience as I was unable to get assistance despite multiple attempts and hours spent trying to resolve the issue. I hope to receive a proper resolution soon.

I booked my flights from London Heathrow to Bangalore departing on February 27, [redacted], and returning via Delhi on March 26, [redacted], through the Air India website. I paid GBP [redacted] with my HSBC card. After authorizing the payment, the Air India website crashed. The Customer Care representative, Kumar, mentioned I would receive my tickets within 24 hours, but I am still waiting. Despite contacting Customer Service multiple times, including providing the PNR Z275F, the information received was inconsistent. I'm writing in regards to reservation number J74E1 for the passenger Savitri Gera, who is my mother. Unfortunately, she was unable to board the flight scheduled for January 22 at 3:00 PM from New Delhi to San Francisco due to illness. Despite notifying the airline more than 24 hours before the flight to reschedule, I have been unable to reach anyone. I am requesting a rescheduled flight for my mother on March 27 at 3:30 AM, along with a wheelchair and a vegetarian meal. I hope there will be no additional charges given the circumstances and the difficulty in contacting the airline. Thank you.

Seats assigned to Mrs. P Lotlikar and Dr. R Lotlikar on the aircraft at check-in are not suitable. Due to medical reasons, we require aisle seats. It is requested that we are seated together. Due to a back problem, I need to move around frequently, and Dr. Lotlikar needs to access the restroom often due to his health concerns. We hope you understand our need for aisle seats. My Flying Returns account is currently dormant with pending verification. Despite multiple attempts to upload my documents, including my US passport, driving license, and OCI card, the status remains unchanged for several months. Each time I resubmit the documents, I receive a message stating "Verification failed". I am unsure of the exact reason for the failure. My driving license only displays my first name as Ananthana, not the full Ananthanarayan. I subsequently submitted my OCI card which accurately reflects my full name and US address as per Flying Returns. However, the verification still failed. My attempts to contact Flying Returns customer service have been unsuccessful as I am unable to speak with a representative. Despite reaching out via email, I have not received a helpful response. Additionally, calling their phone number has proven difficult, with long wait times exceeding 30 minutes, leading to disconnections. This situation is frustrating as I wish to utilize my points for local travel within India. It appears the address proof requirement may be geared towards Indian citizens.

One of my foreign friends was traveling from India to Canada on May 24, [redacted]. After completing all the necessary processes at the Air India airport and receiving the boarding pass, she was stopped by Air India staff at security check because she was not vaccinated. The staff mentioned they received information from the Canadian embassy. Despite my friend having a negative RT-PCR test within 72 hours as per Air India guidelines, she was barred from boarding. Air India does not mandate vaccination for travel, similar to Canada's guidelines. It's concerning that Air India staff caused distress to my friend and other passengers, especially after reading about a similar incident in the Hindustan Times. I hope this issue can be resolved quickly so my friend can proceed with her journey to Canada. It's unfortunate to see passengers being subjected to such treatment by airline staff.

I recently booked flights through the Air India website. Initially, they only asked for my name and surname. Now, they are stating that middle names are required. Despite trying to add my passport details, the system does not allow for the addition of middle names. I reached out to Air India, and one representative mentioned that I would need to cancel my bookings, incurring a fee of £[redacted] per person. However, the London office informed me via email that middle names are not mandatory. I have printed the email for reference, but I remain uneasy about the contradictory information provided.
