I recently moved in late April and submitted a change of address form to Nationwide Aegon in early May. However, my updated address has not been reflected in my account. Consequently, my new financial advisor is being denied access, despite providing a signed letter of authority. I have made three unsuccessful attempts to reach Aegon by phone, with my latest call lasting over an hour before being disconnected. It is crucial that my address is promptly updated and that my financial advisor is granted access to my account. Unfortunately, I have been unable to find an email contact for Aegon. Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I usually receive a document in the mail that shows the income I earned for the year and the taxes that were deducted. However, I have been trying to obtain this information for three hours this week without any success. It is crucial for me to have these details to complete my Canadian tax filings. I have already received similar documents regarding my pension from the Dutch Government pension fund. In [redacted], my pension statement from Aegon showed an income of 22,[redacted] Euros with a withholding tax of 2,[redacted] Euros. In [redacted], I was advised by my former IFA, who mentioned a relationship with Aegon, to open an Aegon SIPP. Despite signing an agreement regarding the fees to be deducted from my pension fund, both the IFA and Aegon took more than what was agreed upon, resulting in unauthorized withdrawals from my pension account. Complaints made to the Financial Ombudsman Service were upheld against both parties, with the IFA's case resolved but Aegon's unresolved after 10 years. My personal information was also improperly shared by Aegon. Unfortunately, a proposed settlement from Aegon only offered 1.5% interest on the stolen money, falling short of the excessive fees I had paid. I caution other elderly individuals to carefully review management charges with Aegon and consider alternative options to avoid potential financial exploitation. It is disheartening that financial establishments can act in such a manner without facing appropriate consequences.

I urge elderly individuals with pensions at Aegon to carefully review their management charges. For those considering Aegon, be cautious of a company willing to exploit vulnerable individuals.
