I reside at [redacted] Birwood St. On 6/8/[redacted], the garbage was not collected. The answering service mentioned it would take 48-78 hours to investigate. The container had the lid on and was about 6 inches away from the curb. It was placed out late at night the day before. I've lived here since [redacted] and didn't have issues until your city contract started. Last month, there was an unresolved bulk pick-up problem involving a broken bathroom vanity. Suddenly, wood items are not being collected. No one attempted to contact me. I'm retired and always home, yet my garbage wasn't collected. I have no space for the accumulating garbage for 5-7 days. If there are changes to services, customers should be notified. I'm a senior citizen with grandchildren, and we manage the garbage even though it doesn't overflow. I hope for a satisfactory response as the answering service was unhelpful and frustrating.

When I received my bill for the end of April, there was a $10.95 service charge. After calling, the representative assured me that it was removed, and I should only pay $86.25. However, upon sending the payment, I was surprised by a recent bill with the same $10.95 charge reinstated along with an extra $10.95, totaling $[redacted].15. Monthly payments align with my husband's income, so this timing was not delayed over a month. Could you confirm the receipt of my payment, and clarify if the $10.95 charges are still due? I need immediate trash pickup as my garbage has been at the curb since last Thursday at 10 PM for a Friday morning service. Despite emailing the local office last Friday before they closed, I got a response only on Monday. Unfortunately, animals tore into the bags, causing me to clean up and re-bag twice. I pay for the yearly service in advance to avoid interruptions but have been unable to reach the Cumberland office by phone all day as nobody answers. It's now 3:40 PM, and today's trash pickup has still not occurred.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the yard waste pickup service at my address. Over the past 6 weeks, on the last 3 scheduled pick-up dates, there has been no collection of the yard waste bags. This situation has led to a significant build-up of waste, causing inconvenience.
I have attempted to address this issue by submitting a pick-up request through the messaging system, but have received no response. Furthermore, contacting Advanced Disposal via phone has been challenging due to long wait times and delayed call-backs.
As a customer, I am disappointed with the lack of service. I kindly request a prompt resolution by scheduling a makeup pick-up at your earliest convenience.

Our regular pickup day is on Mondays. Last week, due to Memorial Day falling on Monday (5/27), we set our trash out on Tuesday (5/28) along with our neighbors. Unfortunately, no one collected our trash this week. We have noticed a pattern of issues with Tuesday pickups after holidays. We would appreciate consistent Tuesday pickups following holidays in the future. Although there have been improvements in our regular weekly pickups, like this week, it remains inconsistent. My name is Ron S. and I reside at [redacted] Maplegrove Rd, Rimersburg, PA [redacted]. I want to address an issue with your driver, Larry Downing. I had requested him to place my garbage can back in the yard instead of next to the road to prevent it from getting hit by a car. Although it only needed to be moved 10ft, he insisted it must be curbside. Surprisingly, he is willing to go up my neighbor's porch (which is about 30ft from the road) to collect her bags. This behavior seems like retaliation since we switched from his services to Shirley Sanitation, which your company later acquired. Our previous providers always returned the can away from the road. My wife, Darlyne, has contacted your office twice with no resolution. We have provided a wheeled can for convenience, yet we feel unfairly treated, leading us to consider switching providers. We genuinely hope to resolve this matter promptly as we were warned that service might be discontinued if the can is not placed by the road. Thank you for your attention to this concern. Ron S.

I am writing to report a recent unsatisfactory trash pickup at my address. I have taken pictures of the partially full bin that was collected this morning, despite not being close to overflowing. The bin contained only a small amount of trash, including a cut cantaloupe, pieces of watermelon, and pulled weeds. I am disappointed in the service provided and expect better in the future. If this happens again, I will cancel my service promptly. I fulfill my responsibility by paying my bill on time and expect the same level of service in return. The trash collector's negligence is unacceptable, and I insist on a resolution to prevent such incidents from reoccurring. I have photographic evidence of the incident available upon request. Every time the garbage is collected, there is always trash left behind, and it's scattered all down the road. I'm left to pick it all up. This past Tuesday, when the garbage collection took place, my cousin who lives next door had her whole driveway and the road covered in trash. This is ridiculous and unacceptable. Something really needs to be done. I do not work for the trash company, and I shouldn't have to pick up trash scattered everywhere due to the company's negligence.

I purchased a dumpster and three months of service on December 2nd, expecting deliveries to start this Friday. However, I have not received the dumpster yet. I contacted your company to express my concern and inquire about the status of my order. Is my business important to you? I would appreciate either the delivery of the dumpster or a refund of $[redacted].25. It's now December 26th, and I paid for the service 24 days ago, giving ample time to fulfill the order. I genuinely want to know if you are committed to your customers and want to continue doing business with me.

I contacted your customer service, but the experience was disappointing. After being on hold for over 19 minutes, I tried online, but a message asked for more than [redacted] characters, and my email explaining the issue didn't go through. I requested a dumpster repair or replacement on December 2nd at McCauley Brothers in Kentucky, but it hasn't been resolved. The customer service representative kept me waiting for another 5-7 minutes with no response and mentioned the dispatcher had left for the day around 4:35 pm. If I hadn't been on hold for so long, maybe the dispatcher would still have been available. Although they acknowledged the ticket from December 2nd, I'm still unsure about when the hopper will be replaced. The overflowing trash is causing a mess. I hope this message conveys my concerns without exceeding the character limit for resending.

COMPLAINT: I recently discovered that Advanced Disposal has been billing me through auto-deduct for a service they discontinued in April [redacted]. They informed us in March/April [redacted] that they would no longer service my street, removing their garbage cans shortly after. We promptly switched to Red Oak Sanitation and provided Advanced Disposal with our start date and detailed billing from Red Oak. Despite multiple conversations since January 6, [redacted], including with Patricia Young, I have yet to see a resolution. Advanced Disposal has wrongly billed me since [redacted] and I am seeking a full refund for the unauthorized charges.
