I recently received a ban on my Activision account that I believe was a mistake. Despite filing an appeal, they accused me of using unauthorized software, which I did not do. I don't even know how to. I enjoy playing a few times a week after my kids are asleep. I am disappointed and confused by this situation as I look forward to playing to unwind. Hello everyone,
I am experiencing some issues while playing Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 on my Xbox Series X. I have encountered two recurring problems:
1. Each time I launch the game, my friends show up as offline even though I know they are online. They can join my party, but in the lobby channel, there is a crossed X behind their microphone symbol, preventing me from hearing them. How can I resolve this issue?
2. Another problem arises when I enter a lobby with my friends or when they join me - they are muted in the lobby channel, and I cannot unmute them by pressing X on my Xbox controller because the symbol is greyed out. Can someone assist me with this matter?
I have already attempted to restart both the game and the Xbox, unplugged the Xbox, performed a microphone test in the audio settings (which was successful), and reverted all audio settings back to their original state, but the problems persist.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

On January 7th, my account was apparently hacked, preventing me from accessing it. After resetting my password, I regained access. Although I own a PC, I rarely play on it, especially not for COD which I primarily play on my PS5. I was unfairly banned for hacks, presumably due to the actions of the hacker. Please, rectify this issue and lift the ban. I have invested countless hours and money into the game, earning camos, and it would be disheartening to lose all my progress. I suspect someone tried to access my account yesterday. I kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter and having my account unbanned or even issuing a temporary ban. Back in July [redacted], I received a ban for using unauthorized software in the game. I filed an appeal, but it was confirmed. Today, while checking my email, I discovered 5 friend requests on the same day as the ban, leading me to suspect my account was hacked. I am seeking assistance to regain access to my account, McBlake044#[redacted]9, as I believe I was not responsible for the unauthorized activity. I play on Xbox One and only use legitimate game software downloaded from the Microsoft store. My account was hacked on January 21, [redacted]. Since January 24, [redacted], at 2:00 PM, I have regained access to my account with the help of Battlenet support, and the hacker no longer has access. Battlenet informed me about the game (MW2) being locked and advised me to contact them to lift the ban.
I received a response stating that the ban will remain because it was associated with my account at the time of the ban, even though it was under the hacker's name when the ban was issued.
I am not responsible for the ban and request that it be lifted. I have evidence of my account being hacked, and Battlenet can confirm this for you.
I am the only one who has access now and being punished for something I did not do. If the ban is not lifted, I will have to take legal action and consult with my lawyer.

On November 20, [redacted], I woke up to find out that I had been banned from the game. Upon appealing, I received a generic email accusing me of using unauthorized software and manipulating game data. The day before, on November 19, [redacted], my game was crashing, so I used the "scan and repair" tool provided by Battle.net. Unfortunately, this action led to my ban. I know I am not the only one facing this issue, as I have seen several others affected by it. It is frustrating that I cannot reach a real person at Activision to discuss this wrongful ban. I hope that someone can assist me in resolving this matter and reinstating my account. Activision's lack of evidence and disregard for their players is disheartening. It seems like they are only interested in taking money without providing adequate customer support.

In the past three days, my account has been put under review three times. Every time I achieve ten kills, my account gets suspended, which feels like harassment. I want to clarify that I do not cheat. The increased number of kills and better accuracy after switching from Xbox to PC might have triggered the system, but it's frustrating to be penalized for improving my gameplay legitimately. Good afternoon, I will try to briefly describe my problem. I switched from PS4 to PC for the first time, and last night before finishing my game in Warzone 2.0, I was kicked out of the lobby for no reason. The screen should have displayed an error or reason for this, but it only showed a SERVER DISCONNECTION! Afterwards, I tried to start another game and noticed the ping was over [redacted]! Confused, I checked my Activision account. In the Kills, Lobby players, and remaining Teams section, I saw 6 players who, after I killed them, watched me until the crash happened. I believe they unjustly reported me multiple times! This is not the first but the third time it has happened unfairly. When I opened the "Appeal A Ban - Activision Support" page, it said my account was under review with no recourse. As a player who has spent money on this game and continues to do so, and above all, as an honest player who has NEVER used cheats, I request an instant review because I am being accused of violations I did not commit! I hope this will not happen again, as it is disgraceful for us respectful players who follow the rules.

While playing Call of Duty MW2, I keep receiving warnings about offensive voice chat and account name violations, but it only seems to happen after I perform exceptionally well in-game. I want to clarify that I never engage in voice chat during these instances, and I even informed my friends who were playing with me, and they can confirm that we weren't using in-game chat. My username in the game is "Fawfullz," a harmless reference to a character from Super Mario that I've used for 16 years. Despite this, the game is prompting me to change it and has issued a 3-day in-game mute due to alleged offensive voice chat, which I did not participate in. I switched from playing Warzone 2 on the Blizzard launcher due to multiple issues like crashes and sound errors. I switched to the Steam version early on after the game was released. Unfortunately, I didn't finish the battle pass and was left with [redacted] Cod Points. I realized I had [redacted] Cod Points on my Blizzard account. I find it odd that the points didn't transfer since both versions are linked to the same Activision account, and all other items like weapons and operators are available on both platforms. I only wish to access the battle pass and resolve this issue without being told to purchase more Cod Points.
