Hello, I'm Charles M Lilly, also known as Max Lilly on the comment pages. I'm experiencing issues with accessing my ability to leave comments. I've always followed AOL's rules, never used profanity, or made any inappropriate remarks. Despite being a customer for over 20 years, I've been blacklisted by the moderators without a clear reason. They mentioned I need to earn [redacted] points to be reinstated, which seems excessive. I believe I'm unfairly targeted, as others post abusive language without consequences. A few years back, my email was with Verizon which then switched to AOL while keeping my original email address [redacted] I have an Apple iMac desktop but cannot send pictures from iPhoto through email. Apple Support via Screen Sharing couldn't assist due to password issues. I'm hesitant to change settings on my own and need expert help, willing to pay for assistance. Best, George C.

My elderly parents, aged 86, recently relocated to Florida permanently. They accidentally changed their password and are now locked out of their account. Despite my numerous attempts, no password combinations have worked. They also can't recall the recovery information for their account. The provided recovery phone number is invalid. The account in question is under the email [redacted], with the last known correct password being Trouble34$. I've created a new account for my father, but their old account holds precious pictures of their grandchildren. My mother's name is Annice Allison, born on 7/2/[redacted], and I am Christine Radtke. Please refrain from contacting them directly as it may cause confusion. I have automated the new account on both their computers. However, it would be greatly appreciated if the password could be reset to their old one, Trouble34$.

I am experiencing an excessive amount of ads on the AOL site, appearing on various sections like the email box, news pages, and all over the monitor since the Verizon Media and OATH acquisition. As a paying AOL customer, I believe this ad saturation is unacceptable. If this issue persists, I may have to escalate my concerns to my Congressman or US Senator for assistance. I strongly feel that as a monthly subscriber, I should not have to pay extra to remove these ads. AOL and Verizon need to address this matter promptly to retain their internet business reputation.

While playing Spades on AOL games.com, an incident occurred where an individual named John posted my home address in the comments section without my consent or provocation during a game. I found his actions threatening and concerning. The situation unfolded around 2:45 pm, and after politely expressing my discomfort with his unsolicited advice, he proceeded to share my personal information publicly. I urge the site administrators to promptly remove the comment containing my address and take appropriate action against "John" to ensure the safety and privacy of all users. I am seeking assistance with a longstanding issue involving my account being compromised by another user, Uphill99, who has accessed my emails and responded to them as if they were the intended recipient. This has been happening for approximately 15 years. Despite changing my computer, password, and email provider, the intrusion persists intermittently. I have received unsettling emails, including one falsely thanking me for supporting Trump and another with a photo of me at my previous address. Law enforcement was unable to assist due to no financial loss. I am deeply troubled by the breach, particularly given the personal nature of the latest email with the photo attached. I kindly request to speak directly with a representative regarding this distressing situation.

Lately, I have been experiencing an issue that keeps worsening. Whenever I check my email for about 15-20 minutes, a yellow bar appears at the top of my New Mail screen indicating that "a web page is interfering with my browser." As a result, the response time for opening or composing anything becomes extremely slow, leading me to have to halt my activities due to the delays. Interestingly, this problem does not occur with MS Office applications when I use them before accessing AOL. However, once the yellow bar emerges during my AOL usage, it affects the performance of all my other applications, forcing me to cease working altogether. My browser is Firefox, the latest version, I use MS Office [redacted], and my internet searches are primarily done using Google. I would greatly appreciate any assistance in resolving this matter.

This email was sent to me a few days ago:

We are delighted that you are using AOL Mail and want to ensure everything is running smoothly. That's why we are reaching out to you today.
We have noticed that you are using third-party apps (such as email, calendar, or contact apps that are not from AOL) that may use a less secure sign-in method. To protect you and your data, AOL will no longer support the current sign-in method in your app starting October 20, [redacted]. To continue using AOL Mail without any issues, you need to take one of the steps listed below.
But don't worry, you have various options.
Option 1: We recommend accessing your email account through the free AOL App for iOS and Android. You can also simply go to mail.aol.com to open AOL Mail in your browser.
Option 2: If you wish to continue using your third-party app, you can sync it with our secure sign-in method in a few steps. The steps vary depending on the email app, but in most cases, you need to remove your AOL account from the app and then re-add it with the updated secure sign-in method. Click on the respective link below to follow the steps for your third-party app:

There have been instances where AOL has rejected my post for unclear reasons, despite following community guidelines. My post, discussing the right of homeowners to protect their properties amid unrest, was turned down. I've been a loyal AOL user since [redacted] and this is the first time I've encountered this issue. Though I typically accept my mistakes, I believe this rejection was unwarranted. Is there a way to remove the flashing ads that are prevalent on AOL pages? These ads are not only distracting but also offensive. Despite clicking the "pause" button to temporarily stop some of them, I can't seem to get rid of certain ads, particularly those for clothing and men's underwear, which I find offensive due to their content. I am not interested in viewing such explicit material while browsing.

Hello, I am Ivica Sark from North Macedonia. I am facing an issue with receiving emails from GEICO Auto Insurance on my Android phone at [redacted], an email account I did not create. This instance is one of many I receive, and I usually mark them as spam. However, when trying to unsubscribe from GEICO emails, the process led to a human verification window that ended up sending multiple SMS messages, potentially resulting in a high phone bill. I attempted to log in to the email account, but it said the account does not exist. I suspect my phone and possibly my PC have malware. I plan to do a factory reset and if needed, completely format the phone. Could you please investigate the [redacted] account, trace its origin, and delete it as I did not set it up? Hello,
I have been receiving repeated reminders from AOL about taking action regarding third-party sign-ins. While accessing my emails on my Windows laptop using Chrome has been fine, setting up my AOL emails on my Android Moto G 3 and Gmail was initially problematic. After a successful second attempt a couple of days ago, everything is now working correctly on my mobile devices. However, AOL's automated messages seem unaware of this and keep prompting me to take action. I would appreciate it if AOL could recognize that the issue has been resolved to prevent any further disruptions. Thank you.

I have been an AOL member since the summer of [redacted]. However, since the beginning of this year, I have been unable to access any of my accounts. When I visited a physical store, the email address they had on file was [redacted], which caused my online identity to disappear once again. My original account was [redacted], and I also have other email addresses linked to my account. I now have a new phone number: [redacted]. I pay $14.95 through my Capital One account ending in [redacted]. My preferred email address is [redacted] Despite having access to [redacted] and [redacted], I have not been able to log in. I am facing challenges with my telecom services, as well as issues related to intellectual property theft of a program I created in Lotus123. My elderly parents, aged 87, encountered an issue with their black AOL Mail desktop icon not functioning recently. Clicking on it yielded no response. Attempting to re-add the shortcut to the desktop did not resolve the issue. When attempting to reinstall it, a message indicated it was no longer available. I came across information stating that the black icon has been discontinued, requiring a switch to AOL Desktop Gold with a subscription fee. Formerly Verizon customers with a Verizon email extension, they were transitioned to AOL when Verizon discontinued their email service. They solely use AOL for email, still able to access it through the website; however, this change has been perplexing for them.

Since Friday, 11/13/[redacted], I've been experiencing difficulties accessing my email on various devices such as my phone, laptop, desktop computer, and tablet. Every time I attempt to sign in, I receive an error message stating, "Sorry, we don't recognize this email."
I've reached out to tech support on four separate occasions, but unfortunately, they have been unable to provide a solution. Despite my numerous calls, they informed me that they cannot access my account and that someone will reach out to me, which has not happened. I have been using this email for over 20 years without any issues, and it is concerning that I am suddenly unable to access it or determine the cause of the problem.
The information stored in my email, including contacts, is invaluable, and I find it unacceptable that the only solution provided is to create a new email account. I am hopeful that there is a way to investigate what transpired and resolve this issue promptly.

I am experiencing difficulties sending and receiving emails for the past two days. I was in contact with a technician named Rahul yesterday, who guided me through some troubleshooting steps. However, I was hesitant to allow him to take over my computer. Due to technical issues and it being late at night, I had to shut down my computer. I am uncomfortable with unfamiliar individuals accessing my computer remotely.
Currently, I am still unable to access my emails after two days. I struggle to understand technical jargon used by experts but try my best to follow instructions. Despite paying AOL for their services, I haven't been able to utilize my email. On the bright side, I can still play Solitaire as it helps me relax.
I am unsure if I need to make any changes. Any assistance would be appreciated.
