How Do I Place a Vacation Hold on My Wall Street Journal Account?

To place a vacation hold on your Wall Street Journal account, first, go to the WSJ.com website. Scroll down to the very bottom of the page and under the "Customer Service" heading, look for the "Customer Center" link. Click that link. Login to your Wall Street Journal account. When you're logged in, look on the left side of the page for a navigation panel. Click the "Suspend Subscription" link. Then, on the next page, choose the date you'd like to pause your subscription and resume your subscription. Then click "schedule". That's it, you're done!

Are you a Wall Street Journal subscriber that's going on vacation? If so, are you looking to put a vacation hold on your Wall Street Journal? We understand if you are. There is no need to have your paper delivered while you're on vacation.

In this guide, we're going to help you put a vacation hold on your Wall Street Journal account so that your business, economic, and financial news does not pile-up at your doorstep while you're away.

Before we begin, you'll need your Wall Street Journal account login information. This is going to be your email or username along with your password.

Do you have your login info? Excellent! Let's begin below:

1) If you have the email address and/or username associated with your Wall Street Journal account, go ahead and skip ahead to #2 below. If you don't, we have a suggestion for you. Sometimes we have a lot of email addresses and forward all of those "sub-accounts" to one main email address that we use most of the time. So, go ahead and search your main email account for "WSJ.com" to see if you can locate an email with your account information in it. If you do locate the email, see what email address of yours the email was sent to. This will help you login to your Wall Street Journal account.

2) Do you have your Wall Street Journal account information? Great! First, go to the Wall Street Journal website. When you're at the home page, what you're going to want to do is scroll down to the very bottom.

3) At the very bottom of WSJ.com, you're going to see a heading that says "Customer Service" in the footer section of the website. Under the "Customer Service" heading, look for the link that says "Customer Center" and then click that link.

4) On the Wall Street Journal account login page, type in your email or username along with your password. Next, click the "Sign In" button to be logged in to your account.

5) If you forgot either your username or your password, there are also small links on this page which will allow you to recover either of those. Click the "Forgot your username or password?" link to be taken to a separate page that will assist you. On that page, you'll be able to enter your personal information into a form and have either your username or password emailed to you directly.

6) After you are logged into your Wall Street Journal account, examine your account page carefully. You'll see a navigation menu on the left of your Wall Street Journal account page. In this navigation menu, you'll see options to change your address, report a delivery issue, change your password, or update your credit card. Another option will be to "Suspend Subscription." Click the "Suspend Subscription" link.

7) On the page you end up on, select the subscription to suspend from the drop-down menu. This will be your Wall Street Journal paper subscription. Next, select the date to begin your vacation hold (or suspension). Also, select the date you'd like to resume your delivery. Then click "Schedule."

8) The lead-time required to "suspend" your Wall Street Journal subscription, or put a vacation hold on your delivery, is two publishing days from the date you're able to make the request.
