There are times when paying all of our bills can become difficult. We've all had moments when our dollars simply didn't stretch far enough. As a result, it may be necessary to skip paying a bill, even a Time Warner/Spectrum bill. However, we may question the best way to do this. Luckily, there are actions we can take in situations like this.

Make Payment Arrangements

One of the best ways to delay paying a bill is to make payment arrangements to pay at a later date. You can log into your Time Warner/Spectrum account and navigate to the Billing tab. Select make a payment. You can make adjustments to your payment date as well as the payment amount and form of payment. This is one way of acquiring more time to pay the bill.

Cancel A Payment

You can also cancel a scheduled payment. This is one way of avoiding payment. You can simply log into your Time Warner account and navigate to billing. Select make a payment. You will then have the option to change your payment date, amount, and form of payment. This will allow you to forego making a payment for a while.

Cancel Autopay

You can also avoid paying your Time Warner bill by turning off the autopay feature. You can do this by logging into your account and turning it off. This will prevent Time Warner form debiting your account for the payment.

Dispute A Charge

You can also forego paying your bill by disputing a payment you may feel is wrong or erroneous. You can contact Time Warner online, via customer service, or by mail within sixty days of the billing cycle. It's a good idea to provide supportive documents to support your dispute, however.

Cancel Your Time Warner Service/Subscription

You can cancel your Time Warner service to avoid paying a bill as well. However, you may incur cancellation charges and other fees as well. Nevertheless, it is a way of avoiding making a payment.

Let Your Bill Go Unpaid

The simplest way to avoid paying your Time Warner bill is to decide not to pay it. Your service will lapse and at some point be turned off. However, it is a way of opting not to pay your bill.

Summary

Time Warner/Spectrum customers have several options to choose from if they want to avoid paying their bill. They can delay making a payment by rescheduling the payment for a later date. They can also cancel a payment or turn off autopay by simply logging into their account and selecting the options under the billing heading. The options dont end there, however. Customers can also dispute charges that they may feel are incorrect. Last but not least, customers can simply decide not to pay their bill or cancel their service or subscription altogether.
