Where Can I Find My Target Account Number?

Many Target shoppers don't have account numbers. If you're a member of Target Circle, your account is identified by your phone number. In most cases, only RedCard members have account numbers. You can locate your RedCard account ID on any previous statement. You can also call Target if you need help finding your statements or if you have questions about your RedCard membership.

Target has over 1,900 store locations in the United States. Beyond in-person shopping, customers can shop online to order everything from groceries to household staples to furniture.

You might have an account number if you registered with Target online or in store. Here's everything you need to know about locating your account information.

What You Need to Know About Target Circle Member IDs

Target Circle is a free loyalty program offering 1% cashback on most purchases. To register, shoppers can provide their phone number at checkout or sign up online.

Because Target Circle is associated with phone numbers, members don't have visible membership IDs. If you're a member, your phone number functions as your account number. Target representatives may ask for your phone number if you need help with your membership, and you won't need to provide an account number if you call Target customer support.

RedCard Members Have Separate Account IDs

Although many shoppers don't have account numbers or IDs, RedCard members do. If you're a RedCard member, your account number is separate from your Target Circle membership information.

You can locate your RedCard account ID on any previous account statement. You can also call Target to get help accessing your ID if you can't locate a previous statement.

RedCard account IDs are required for several types of card maintenance, including reporting a lost or stolen card, managing your pin and reviewing payment history.

Target Customer Service Can Help

Target has a helpful customer service team to assist with any account issues. You can call the company's support line with questions about your Circle or RedCard membership, including questions about your account number. Support is available 24/7.
