How Do I Get a Refund from Lumosity?

Since 2007, online-gaming platform Lumosity has provided games that gives its members a fun way to practice their problem-solving skills. The company has 70 million members who take part in increasing their focus and memory with the game. Lumosity makes playing games easier by providing apps in addition to its user-friendly website. These are free to try but you must purchase a membership to take advantage of the company's games. This guide will help you in case you'd like a refund.

Some Refund Terms and Conditions

Lumosity is only able to issue refunds for purchases and renewals made on its website or Google Play store within the last 30 days. However, if you made your purchase through the Apple App store or iTunes, then you would need to reach out to Apple for any refunds. Any purchase made through Apple is subject to Apple Media's Terms of Service.

Requesting Your Lumosity Refund

Lumosity has three different methods of requesting a refund: through your account by viewing the eligible refunds button or if the eligible refunds button isn't available, the "Continue by Email" link. You can also make the request via the Refund Request Form. Please reach out to Lumosity's 24-hour Customer Service line here if you have any questions.

Where's My Refund Tips

The wonderful thing about Lumosity is that the funds leave the company's system the same day the refund is issued. You don't have to wait very long to receive it in most cases. Credit cards might take longer than five days to show a refund and the delay could be on the card issuer's side. Please contact your card issuer to verify the refund is on its way. If the agent doesn't see it, please reach out to Lumosity for help.

Lumosity does suggest in their help pages to verify you're looking at the correct statement when searching for your refund, especially if it's been processed more than five days ago by a Lumosity representative.

Why does GetHuman Write How-to Guides for Lumosity Problems?

GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Comcast in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our What do I do if my Xfinity TV or internet is out? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
