How do I request a quote from Handy?

Before Requesting a Quote

When budgeting for your project, make sure you're aware of the following:

  1. Handy requires that the booking be for a minimum of two hours of service.
  2. You can negotiate changes to the job with the professional assigned to your task.
  3. Quotes only include the hourly rate for the professional. you're responsible for providing all materials needed for the job.

Requesting a Cleaning Quote

To request a cleaning quote from Handy, do the following:

  1. Open the Handy app on your phone or tablet or the Handy website on your computer.
  2. Select "Home Cleaning" to book a professional cleaner.
  3. Complete the form that opens on the screen by adding your ZIP Code, the number of bedrooms and baths in your home, the date you want service, the time you wish the professional to arrive and your email address.
  4. Read the Handy terms of use/user agreement, and click "Get a Price."
  5. Choose how often you want the professional to come to your home.
  6. Select the number of months you want to commit to the contract.
  7. Add any additional services you want performed, such as laundry service or cleaning your refrigerator.
  8. Enter your name, address, phone number and payment information if you're satisfied with the quote you see on the right-hand side of the page.
  9. Click the box agreeing to the terms and conditions and select "Complete Booking."

Requesting a Quote for Other Services

To request a quote for other services, such as furniture assembly or TV installation, do the following:

  1. Open the Handy app on your phone or tablet or the Handy website on your computer.
  2. Select "All Services" to book a professional cleaner.
  3. Enter the type of service in the search bar that appears.
  4. Complete the form that opens on the screen by adding your ZIP Code, the number of bedrooms and baths in your home, the date you want service, the time you wish the professional to arrive and your email address.
  5. Read the Handy terms of use/user agreement, and click "Get a Price."
  6. Enter your name and phone number and select "Calculate Price."
  7. A quote will appear on the screen. If you're satisfied with the quote, select "Continue to Book" to lock in that rate and professional.
