Additionally, you don't have to worry about payments as they're directly deposited into your bank account after job completion.
To increase your chances of getting accepted as a Handy professional, provide detailed personal information and validation of your experience. All applications need to undergo credential verification, and Handy uses computer vision technology to verify applicants.
After verification, all applicants are background checked to ensure they don't have offenses that might disqualify them from using the Handy platform. If you own a small company or are a contractor, you might need to perform a number of jobs before passing a background check. You're paid for all jobs you've completed the previous Monday through Sunday plus any tips. Relevant fees are deducted from your pay. Payments are sent weekly (for the jobs you've completed the previous week) and they usually reach your bank account the next Monday. That means you may have to wait one to two weeks to get your pay.
Professionals have the option to get paid early by turning on the Daily Cash Out feature. When it's on, earnings Are calculated at midnight and sent at 5 a.m. the next day. It may take up to 3 business days for your earnings to reach your bank account. However, using the daily cash-out feature also comes with a $1.99 a day fee.
If you're already a tenured professional, you can also take advantage of the Cash Out feature, allowing you to receive $50/£50 or more in a regular batch payment.
