There are two ways to purchase Google Play Gift Cards: online and in-stores. If you wish to send a gift card to someone, you may visit any of the online stores that sell Google Play gift cards. These stores include Paypal Digital Gifts, Amazon, Target, Gift Cards, Gyft, Lowe's and Kroger. Just follow the on-screen instructions on how to purchase these gift cards.

If you wish to purchase in-store, you may visit the CVS Pharmacy, Target, 7-11, Walgreens, Family Dollar, Dollar General, Walmart and Kroger. However, you will need to check first if these are available in your country. These stores may not be able to send the gift card on your behalf, so you will have to send it on your own.

Google Play gift cards never expire so you can use this at any time in the future to purchase from millions of digital content available on the Play Store. But you can only use it in the country where it was purchased.

How to Check the Gift Card Balance

In order to check the balance, you will first need to add the gift card balance to your Google Play account. But remember, you will not be able to share the content from your account to another personal account.

To check the balance, just go to the Play Store and tap on the profile icon. Go to Payment & Subscriptions and tap on Check the Google Play Balance.

You can also add more credits to your Google Play balance by redeeming more gift cards. You may also visit a convenience store to add cash to your account but there might be fees associated with it. It's also not available in all countries. If you have questions about Google Play gift cards, please contact Customer Support.

Why does GetHuman Write How-to Guides for Google Play Problems?

GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Google Play in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our How Do I Send Someone a Google Play Gift Card? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
