Lost, missing, or delayed goods can be a cause of concern. Fortunately, you can get help from EasyJet fast. If your baggage is delayed, EasyJet tries to get it back to you as soon as possible. There are many reasons why your baggage may be missing from the aircraft. Some of the most common ones include the following;

1. Human error

2. Technical problems with the aircraft

3. Technical issues with the luggage system

All damaged, delayed, and lost bags are managed together. You should report your missing baggage as soon as you notice it. If you do not find your baggage in the Arrivals Halls, you should log a Delayed Baggage Report. It is a simple process that you can complete with the Baggage Services team. Some airports have equipment that makes it possible to log the claim without help.

If you are unable to log the claim online, you can do it online through the Delayed Baggage website. If you choose to file your claim online, you can only do it between 30 minutes and 24 hours after arrival. If you wish to file your claim outside that period, you may need to contact the customer support team.

After submitting your claim, you should receive a reference. EasyJet will try to find your baggage. They will update you about their progress on SMS or Email. If you wish, you may track your baggage online or by contacting the customer support team.

When your bag is found, they will arrange for it to be delivered to you. You need to provide an address and the time that is most convenient for you. You may also collect it in person at the airport.

If you find that your baggage is damaged, you must complete a Damage Report at the Baggage Services desk. The agents will help you if you need help filling in the form.

EasyJet won't be responsible for the damage under the following circumstances;

1. If the damage is superficial

2. If it is caused by rain, water, or snow

3. If it occurs due to over-packing

4. If the damage is to fragile or perishable contents

You can track your claim on the Damaged Luggage website. A unique number is at the top right of your damaged luggage form. It acts as your password for the website.

Essential Items

If EasyJet has not returned your baggage in 24 hours, you may have no choice but to buy toiletries and clothing. They will reimburse you up to a certain amount for up to three days. You must have the receipts when submitting your claim. You can file this claim within 21 days of the flight.

Lost Property

You may get your property back if you lost it when traveling with EasyJet. If you forgot something on board, the Cabin Crew will give it to the Ground Crew and it will be transferred to the Baggage Services team. If you do not collect it within 24 hours, it will be passed to the Lost Property office.

If you lost something at the airport, you may find it in the airport's Lost Property office.

If you need help with your missing baggage on EasyJet, you may seek help from the customer support team. The best way to reach them is over the phone. You will be connected with a live representative who may give you tips to get your missing baggage.

You may also contact them through email. It is a good option if you don't need to speak with a representative. You'll get a response in a few days.
