Can I edit a document after I have sent it for signature?

Asked 5 months ago
Once a document has been sent for signature using DocuSign, it cannot be edited directly. This is to maintain the integrity and security of the signing process. However, if you realize that you need to make changes after sending the document, you can void the current envelope in the DocuSign system. Voiding the envelope will cancel the document and prevent any further actions from the recipients. After voiding, you will be able to make any necessary edits to the document and resend it for signature as a new envelope. It is important to note that voiding a document will inform all recipients that the signing process has been canceled. For further information on how to manage envelopes, you may want to explore DocuSign’s online resources, as they provide comprehensive guidance on this process.
