Amazon relies just as heavily on feedback from Amazon customers regarding Amazon reviewers as it does on feedback left on products, sellers, and companies. This feedback helps Amazon to determine the Amazon reviewer's rank.
If you've ever purchased or searched for merchandise on the Amazon website, you no doubt noticed the tiny yellow stars that indicate reviews left by customers who've purchased the particular product on the page you're viewing.
What many people don't know is just as products, sellers, and companies are reviewed on Amazon, so to are Amazon customers that have left reviews of products, sellers, or companies. They are commonly referred to as Amazon reviewers. Likewise, Amazon reviewers are ranked.
Underneath each product review left by an Amazon customer (reviewer) there's an option to let Amazon know whether a review was helpful or not with simple Yes or No buttons. These are known as votes. Additionally, Amazon customers can also leave a comment if they so wish.
Amazon uses this feedback to rank Amazon reviewers. Amazon reviewers whose reviews are voted as helpful on a consistent basis will be higher ranked than others. Also, more recent the reviews, the better the Amazon reviewer's rank will be.
Only one vote per product is allowed per user. Normally, Amazon reviewer rankings are updated every 2-3 days.
Note that to leave reviews on Amazon.com, you must have spent at least $50 on the website in the past 12 months using a valid credit or debit card.

GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Amazon in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our What Is My Amazon Reviewer Rank? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible.
