I need assistance changing my Xbox player profile picture. My account was created as a child account, so I am unable to change it since I am not yet 18. I am 17 years old, and my guardian has allowed the account to be converted into an adult account. However, I am still unable to change my profile picture due to the age restriction. Do I need to update my birthdate on the account to access this feature, or is there a step I am missing to convert my account to an adult account and change my gamer picture?

I recently performed a factory reset on my Xbox due to issues purchasing Xbox Live with my current card. I saved all games and apps during the process. Since I couldn't remember my old password, I made a new account and re-entered my card info. Although I was able to buy Xbox Live twice, my digital games like PUBG, FC5, and GTA V won't allow me to play them. Even though they show as installed and without any updates, I still can't access them after three hours of trying. This is frustrating, and I need assistance to prevent myself from smashing my Xbox. I am seeking advice on how to address a situation where I believe someone has extorted money from me through threats made on Xbox Live Chat. I have already reported this to the police and started an extortion case. To gather evidence, I need access to the conversation history between myself and the individual involved, who happens to be my ex-girlfriend. Today, I contacted my bank to check my account balance and was surprised to hear about a pending charge for Microsoft Xbox. However, I don't own an Xbox, and my children have all moved out. The bank informed me that this has been an ongoing quarterly charge for the past year. I am shocked at this unauthorized billing as I have not subscribed to any services related to Xbox. I wasn't notified about these transactions, so I urgently need this issue resolved. A payment is set to be deducted from my account today, which prompted me to address this immediately. I want this specific payment stopped, and I need clarification on all the other charges mentioned. I have been attempting to reach someone for assistance for two hours without success. The difficulty in reaching the billing department is frustrating.

Tonight, my brother used my Xbox, and when I logged back on, I discovered that some individuals had joined my party, made threats, tried to access my IP address, and reported me resulting in a ban. Despite my previous bans for rule violations, the fact remains that these users, particularly jonesgotgames64 and imlesnar777, along with six others, were threatening and harassing me relentlessly. This situation is unacceptable. I had witnesses, my brother, and a friend in the chat verifying these events. I feel that the banning policy in place is flawed if I can get banned under these circumstances, especially when threats were made against me. I am considering involving law enforcement and seeking legal advice to address this unjust situation.

Yesterday, my Xbox One external hard drive suddenly stopped working with my console. I tried unplugging and plugging it back in, which temporarily fixed the issue. However, today the problem recurred despite repeating the same steps. I attempted a soft reset by holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds, but upon restarting, my controller failed to connect to the Xbox. Despite multiple resets, Wi-Fi reboots, and other troubleshooting steps, I'm now considering a hard reset that may erase my profile while keeping the games. While my son was playing Xbox online, he defeated a player with the username Dominul. The defeated player then used the live chat to tell my son that he was being toxic and needed a break from the internet. Shortly after, our internet connection and phone service were disrupted for three hours. I rely on the internet for work and this disruption caused me to lose business and money during that time. I need this situation to be addressed urgently, and I demand the suspension of the account associated with the username Dominul. I have been unable to reach a live person via phone at Comcast, but I expect a call back tomorrow, 6/12/19, at [redacted]. This incident not only affected my work but also deprived me of essential communication services. I will escalate this matter with corporate if necessary and file formal complaints. It's imperative to address this issue promptly to prevent similar incidents that could jeopardize others' livelihoods and safety due to a loss of phone access.

I have an old Xbox Live account called DarknessUnknown that I used from [redacted] to [redacted]. I stopped using it when I switched to PC gaming, mainly utilizing a Windows OS. During my college years, I linked the account [redacted] to Windows. Recently, in [redacted], I reconnected the DarknessUnknown account, previously associated with [redacted] (no longer active), to my Gmail, [redacted] linked with [redacted], to participate in the Master Chief Collection PC Beta. However, upon subscribing to Xbox Game Pass for PC, I am prompted to create a new Gamertag on [redacted] Additionally, when I attempt to access DarknessUnknown on the Xbox website, it states the account has been 'claimed' with a recovery email I do not recognize. I seek clarification on whether my old Xbox Live Account DarknessUnknown has been compromised and guidance on linking it to my Microsoft account ([redacted]) so I can utilize the subscribed account [redacted] ([redacted]) that should already be associated with DarknessUnknown.

I recently got a new Xbox and had to create a new Epic account for Fortnite. After several attempts to link my Xbox and Epic accounts, I encountered issues. I eventually discovered I could skip creating an Epic account. Now, I am facing difficulty linking my Xbox and Epic accounts on the Epic Games website. When trying to add my Xbox account, it prompts me to sign in to the Xbox online site, but clicking the sign-in button yields no response. I have tried logging in on my Xbox, computer, and phone without success. This is preventing me from fully enjoying Fortnite, as I cannot communicate with other players. I purchased a name change in [redacted], and upon logging into my account today, I discovered that it had been forcefully changed by the "enforcement system." I've maintained this name without any issues for three years! I was not given the opportunity to choose a new name, and I was automatically assigned an unpleasant name. Furthermore, this new name gives the impression that I am a furry, which I strongly dislike. When you make a purchase, you don't expect the seller to reclaim the item after three years without any compensation. I request one of the following resolutions: either change my name back to the original one, refund the $11 I spent, or provide a free name change for me to select a new name.

Hello, I'm a person with disabilities and have difficulty typing. I've encountered issues with a user on Xbox who is using two gamertags to harass me on Mixer. The first gamertag is lowercase i420 XX [redacted] XX capital a, and the second one is IX BodyRock. They have been sending numerous inappropriate messages, making veiled threats, and being disruptive. My gamertag is knockdown coin 74, and you have my permission to review all the messages exchanged. I believe action needs to be taken to address this ongoing harassment. I spend a lot of time on Mixer due to being bedridden, and I support various channels. Earlier today, I bought the Destiny 2: Forsaken Annual Pass without owning the Forsaken DLC. The details in the Xbox store mention bonus rewards and three premium content releases available to all Destiny 2 players. I thought this was the Forsaken DLC bundled with extra content. I spent $20, but now I receive a message saying “Required Content Not Found.” While I don't believe it was intentional, I feel the description should have been clearer or the title better worded. I am hoping for a refund or a Forsaken DLC code to resolve this confusion.

I am unable to cover the $5 maintenance charge that Microsoft is requesting. I have expressed this concern multiple times in the past. Previously, I did not encounter these issues when purchasing physical discs for Xbox. I preferred the control it offered over my system. However, with the shift to digital downloads, I feel I've lost some control. I am encountering problems specifically with the game Warframe, leading me to question the security of my account and whether Microsoft should be charging to unlock it. This has caused me to reconsider my opinion of Microsoft, as I believe they are not treating their customers fairly. I'm simply seeking assistance in accessing my account.

While playing Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege with my friends, our game encountered a connection error during a crucial ranked match. Despite being in the lead, our team experienced a freeze, resulting in four members being kicked out and us losing the round. This forced the game into overtime. This situation was unexpected as I haven't had issues with servers or my internet before. To make matters worse, the opposing team accused us of DDoS attacks. Their players TheReBrosiah and Sanfl mocked us. Our connections were stable throughout until that point, adding to the confusion. I recently purchased an account from an individual named "SolidDev23" for a 2K19 game. However, the seller did not provide the account after I paid $25. I plan to report this to my bank tomorrow as I couldn't do it immediately. I have the person's contact details such as phone number and Cash App ID. Even though it's a small amount, I believe action should be taken against such behavior. His real name is Deivon Minion from Michigan. I urge for a ban on his account to prevent further incidents. Hello, my name is Jonathon. I'm having trouble with my Xbox One S 1 terabyte Battlefield Edition. It was working fine last night, but when I turned it on this morning, I can't sign in, and the home menu won't load - all I see is a black screen. I am having trouble installing the game. Despite trying all suggested solutions like restarting my console and router, the game still won't install. I attempted to contact support, but the automated system didn't recognize my responses, resulting in the call being disconnected. I tried calling back, only to face another disconnection. My friend bought me Dead by Daylight Special Edition, but for unknown reasons, I am unable to install it. If I am unable to resolve this installation issue, I would appreciate it if my friend could be refunded for the game purchased for me.

I've tried calling customer service, but it just redirects me to the website and disconnects without an option to speak to a real person.
