Today on October **, ****, Sunday afternoon my son went through the drive thru at your *** Ralston Avenue, Belmont, CA location and had horrible experience with the lady whose name is Karin. I've already called several times to speak with their manager but only get a voicemail. My son ordered a combo meal and as he approached the window, he decided to confirm his order with the lady and she said "oh, you want a combo?" He said yes and then she whispered in Spanish, under her breath, an insulting slur. My son was shocked and looked over to his friend and asked "Did I just hear that right? His friend said yes! Again, in shock, my son got his order and as they drove away, my son's friend said to her in Spanish "have a nice day" so that she knew they heard her insult. Disappointed and disrespectful on every level. First, where is the code of conduct? Is this a representation of your values and image as an employer? Second, do you understand the significant damage using derogatory language can cause? Lastly, I recommend you focus on educating and training your employees.
