I filed the claim for my damaged cell phone. The claim was received by Asurion and processed. The final step was that I chose a replacement phone.*However, none of the replacement options were acceptable. None was the same phone I purchased and insured.*None was close or of the same value.*My email from Walmart Product Care Plan dated November **, **** states (and I quote)" the replacement will be of equal or higher value".*I have made several attempts to call both Walmart and Asurion and have left * Live Chat Messages without response or reply. I started this process on November **. It is now November **.*I generally do not post complaints to social media sites but feel like I was deceived purchasing this plan. Please note that I have purchased several phones (LG and Samsungs) and currently have had multiple Straight Talk accounts. I am able to provide supporting documentation and receipts. I simply request the replacement of the phone I purchased, The Stylo * and not be stuck with a phone I would NOT have purchased and* or insured. Short of that I request to be allowed to use (be refunded) the original purchase price of $*** toward the Stylo * and to pay only the difference.*Sincerely, Renee M Jones*Service ID ***********
