I have now been without service for over a week. I called in a service call on Thursday, October *. A technician was scheduled.to come out October * between *-*, FIVE days later. Seriously?! The technician showed up at * pm while I was at work* I had planned to be home by * pm to talk to him. He talked to my daughter. He told my daughter the construction crew next door had nicked the cable line. My daughter called me and I spoke to the tech via phone since he wouldn't wait until I arrived home. He told me my service would be restored within *-* days (by Friday evening, *****) and I wouldn't need to be home. This puts me at no service for over a week now. When I got home Friday evening around *:**, I STILL had no service. **I called the service number on your website and spoke to Gary. I was on the phone with Gary for an HOUR. He told me the technician should not have told me *-* days because he didn't have the authority (even though the technician also checked with his supervisor several times while at my home - according to my daughter). Gary told me that someone would call me within ** hours to tell me when my service would be back up. This meant that someone should have called me by * p.m. yesterday, Saturday, October **. It is now Sunday, October ** at **:** pm and I've not heard from anyone. **While on the phone with Gary, I told him that not only was I oaying for a service that was not provided, I also had to pay an additional $** to Verizon to boost my hot spot since I had used all my allotted high speed data via my hotspot because I do work from home in the evening. **So, Gary originally was going to credit me for $** for ** days of no service but upped it to $** to cover the data boost, so I'm still paying for internet service I'm not receiving. This is a double hit to my bank account ($** for ** days of no service * $** data boost that I have now run through because I STILL HAVE NO INTERNET SERVICE) and I shoukd have been credited for both items - not just one. **I have been unable to get my service connected and I'm very close to cancelling. I'm paying $** a month for a service I'm not receiving through no fault of my own. **I would like to credited for the days I have no service PLUS I would like my service connected - both within the realm of Wow's capabilities. I would like to be contacted by noon Monday, October **.
