Yesterday I received several emails from Vodafone telling me that my Vodafone parcel would be delivered today. I do not have a Vodafone account, nor have I ordered or bought anything from Vodafone. I phoned to check this and (eventually) found someone who was prepared to listen to me. I explained my issue and that I had, several months ago, spoken to Vodafone about a similar issue. Then, and now, I was assured that the issue arose because my email address had been incorrectly attached to another person's account. Today I received emails saying that 'my package' has been delivered. **I now have the name, address and other sensitive data about your customer. This is, I believe, a serious breach of UK Data Protection regulations and I am also concerned about potential breach of my own confidentiality. I do not wish to be identified as being responsible for an account or purchases which have nothing to do with me.**I will be very grateful if you will contact me as soon as possible. I suspect that the Information Commissioner might well be interested in this matter - it is entirely possible that I may not be the only person whose personal data may have been compromised by Vodafone.**Robert Williams*Tel: ***** ******
