I am a very irate customer of Vodacom currently. On ** October **** I sent Visharad Bundhoo (Sunninghill Chatz) an email asking how I go about changing my debit order details. He is the one who opened the contract for me. He replied by saying I must send him proof of my new banking details and he will update it. Indeed on ********** I returned to work from study and I apologised for the delay, sent proof of my new banking details. Comes end of November I notice Vodacom has not deducted. I call customer care only to find out that the old banking details are still on the system with no requested update. I went to Chatz Sunninghill, spoke to Visharad and explained to him that after checking even at FNB i was charged R***.** for insufficient in honoring the debit order. He said he will request a credit note for the next account and get back to me. In an attempt to get the R***.** reversed I disputed the vodacom debit order. Unfortunately the charge was still not reversed so I must still pay R***.** to FNB. I sent Visharad an email informing him about the reversal (today, * December) and said I will come to the store to do a manual payment as they said I can also pay at Vodacom. I get there he greets me with a smile and say he saw my email I must wait he is busy with another customer. After the short wait I am told they do not take manual payments. I must go to a non-franchise Vodacom store. There I flipped. THIS GUY SAW MY EMAIL, he was it was hectic at the store. Really, how long does it take to answer an email you received at **:**?? I am absolutely appalled by the service I got. The call centre lady we also spoke to where I asked to lodge a complaint just made me hold saying she is logging on. I am starting to regret even opening this contract if the customer service staff is so ineffecient. Kindly assist in resolving this matter. My number is *** *** ****
