I recently visited Universal Studios on July *rd, ****. I had an extremely inconvenient and frustrating experience with the parking and a parking attendant at the theme park. I paid $** for preferred parking and everything was fine until I left the theme park and came back later that day. I kept everything that the parking attendant gave me that same morning but when I came back later that night, I was told I could not come back in without having to pay again by a new parking attendant. She was extremely rude and did not listen to me. I explained to her that I had purchased a $** preferred parking fee that morning and I showed her what the previous parking attended gave to me that morning. It was a short receipt with a time stamp and yellow strip of paper. This new parking attendant I was dealing with told me that I needed a different and more detailed receipt that had something that said AMC on it to validate the preferred parking I purchased earlier that day. But I was given absolutely no other receipt that morning from the previous parking attendant so I had no idea it would be needed in order to come back in but I kept everything else she gave me. But she did not give me a detailed receipt. The new parking attendant did not listen to what I was saying and kept demanding that I need to pay again and it was the most infuriating experience. I ended up having to pay another $** to park and this time, the parking attendant gave me ALL the receipts I needed. It was ridiculous, inconvenient, and frustrating that the original parking attendant I dealt with was incompetent and that the last one I dealt with was completely rude and not understanding. In total, I paid $** for parking in one day which is unacceptable considering the fact that I paid for parking that morning already. I have photos of receipts and the names of the attendants who attended to me that day so if there is anyway I can send you the photos, then that would be great. I also have proof of the charges on my credit card, which I showed to the attendant who did not believe me and demanded I pay again. Not only did that parking incident ruin my day but my family and I also got stuck on the Harry Potter: Forbidden Journey ride. It was an extremely unsettling and frightening experience and it was brushed off like it was nothing. We were dangling in the air for a while and caused my younger brother to hyperventilate and have an anxiety attack. No apologies were made and when I asked an attendant what happened, we were simply told “Oh yeah, this ride gets stuck very often”. Not something that people want to hear. Definitely do not plan on returning to Universal Studios any time soon and it has been a disappointing first and last time.
