I finished my unemployment claim with DEO Reemployment Assistance for Florida on May 6, [redacted]. It has been nearly 5 weeks, and I have not received any communication via email or the website. Both my friend and I, who work at the same place, applied on the same day, and she already got her first payment 2 weeks back. I understand there might be delays due to the high volume of applications, but I can't reach anyone on the phone because of long wait times. I'm struggling as my workplace is still closed. I'm unsure if there is something missing from my application. Can someone please provide me with information? My claim number is (C-[redacted]). Thank you.

I have been attempting to reach out for more than two weeks now about my Connect inbox being silent. I am concerned about the sudden halt in FPUC payments for about three weeks since I last received $[redacted]. Before requesting a back-date on my PUA claim, I want to verify if it's necessary. I recall applying in March and losing my job on March 9th, but my claim's effective and submitted date is in April. I read those on the PUA program do not need to adjust their application date. Despite my efforts, I have been unsuccessful in uploading my [redacted] and proof of income, which were initially submitted with my application; the wages in my determination are inaccurate.

Good afternoon, I have been attempting to appeal since March. I mistakenly indicated that I wasn't ready to work and as a result, was denied. I work as a school bus driver, but due to school closures from Covid, I am unable to work. I've been struggling to reach someone or access the system to correct this error. I have even submitted a paper form with no response. It's crucial for me to receive the retroactive funds and continue filing for unemployment until schools reopen. I urgently need to pay my mortgage and outstanding bills that have accumulated due to these technical difficulties. My contact number is [redacted]. If possible, assistance in Spanish would be appreciated; otherwise, my daughter can help translate. Please assist me with this matter promptly.

I recently ran out of my regular Unemployment Compensation (UC) benefits a month ago. I applied for Pandemic Emergency Unemployment Compensation (PEUC) successfully and received payments for the first 4 weeks without any issues. However, after receiving a requirement for a new quarter on July 7th, I encountered difficulties when trying to claim my weeks on July 8th. The system prompted me to apply for benefits again, even though it stated I already had a valid claim. This has led me to a frustrating loop of not being able to claim my weeks. Despite speaking to numerous representatives and being assured it would be fixed by Saturday, it is now Tuesday with no resolution. I spent 4.5 hours on hold trying to speak with a supervisor, only for the call to be disconnected. One representative even suggested cancelling my claim and starting over without verifying my identity. After speaking with around 10 people without finding a solution, I am unsure of what steps to take next or who to contact for assistance.

I need assistance with my unemployment claim. I was on a leave of absence from March 25 to May 5, during which I used up all my vacation time. I applied for unemployment on April 14, [redacted], and received one unemployment check for $[redacted].00 and a $[redacted].00 check from the federal government. However, I expected to receive more unemployment checks but did not. Recently, I received a check for $1,[redacted] and a debit card from the unemployment office with $[redacted].00 on it. I believe there may have been an error in my status update, as I should have an inactive file instead of an active one. Please investigate this matter.

Hello, I am experiencing difficulty claiming certain weeks of benefits on my account. I had been away supporting my parents in maintaining stay-at-home measures most of May and June. During this time, I also faced computer issues due to malware. Upon logging back into CONNECT, I noticed a message stating the need to log in weekly to claim benefits, which I was not aware of initially. Unfortunately, payments for the weeks ending May 16, May 23, and May 30 are missing, and the weeks ending June 6 and June 13 are on hold. With rent wiping out our funds, I urgently need to claim these weeks and receive payment for the ones on hold. I seek guidance on claiming these weeks and releasing the funds on hold. Any special procedures to prevent financial hardship in August would be greatly appreciated. Your help is valued. Thank you for your time. Best, Terry P.

I have been facing difficulties with my unemployment benefits despite reapplying as advised. Contacting the assistance form and numerous calls only resulted in errors and unhelpful responses. After waiting on hold for hours, I was finally informed about being eligible for payments through both State and Federal programs. Despite eventually receiving some payments, my account is now on hold due to an alleged overpayment issue, which makes little sense after waiting for benefits for so long. I would appreciate communication via email, text, or a call regarding this matter. Thank you for your assistance. - S. G. [redacted]

To whom it may concern, my name is Rafael Rosa Pastor. On July 9, [redacted], I was suspended from work and immediately filed for unemployment, which I started receiving three days ago. On July 14, [redacted], I was asked to return to work by the director of Nursing, who handled the situation unprofessionally, making a scene as if I were a criminal over unjust accusations. From July 17 to July 31, [redacted], I submitted my two weeks notice at the facility where I work as a Certified Nursing Assistant. I wonder if I will have to return the unemployment benefits I received, as I need the money for work gear at a new job I applied to during my suspension with a lawn care company. Despite the challenges, I appreciate the financial support. I have concerns about how to proceed with the unemployment benefits if I start working at the new company. Thank you for your assistance. Claim# [redacted] - James M Clapperton - Missing COVID Payments March - June [redacted] I have been submitting claims from March 15, [redacted], onwards. Only in June [redacted], I began receiving compensation for COVID-related relief. I was unable to work because of travel restrictions and the impact of the pandemic on my job. Despite my efforts, I have not received the COVID stimulus money for the months of March to June. I am struggling financially as I had bills to cover even before receiving unemployment benefits. I appreciate the hard work of everyone at the reemployment agency, but I am anxious to know when my issue will be addressed. If there is a mistake in my application, I am willing to correct it, as I have not been working and have been affected since March 15, [redacted]. I work as an Equestrian Judge and have been unable to work due to COVID-19 restrictions such as social distancing and no mass gatherings. I seek assistance in resolving this matter promptly.

I filed for unemployment due to being laid off on July 16th because of Covid-19. I applied for benefits on August 4th. The system is asking for weeks starting July 12th, which is before I believe I am eligible due to receiving a paycheck at the time of my lay off. This is my first concern. The second issue is that it's requesting work calls information early, while the site states it's not needed until September 5th. My benefits are set to expire on August 20th. I am unsure of my next steps with my claim and have not been able to reach anyone for assistance.

Good morning, my name is Rosa Gutowski. I have been trying to access state benefits after losing my job due to the COVID-19 crisis. However, I am unable to log in. At 64 years old, after 14 years at my job, I started looking for work before applying for unemployment. Sadly, my personal information was compromised through Career Builders. Despite my attempts, I couldn't update my banking details with Fl DEO. While on a pre-planned vacation in SD last year, my fiancé and I had an accident, resulting in a broken leg for me. I am unsure of the needed information to collect my unemployment benefits, so any assistance via phone or email would be greatly appreciated.

I need assistance urgently. On 04/19/[redacted], I applied for benefits and was notified on 06/04/[redacted] that I would receive $[redacted] weekly. However, two employers and their wages were missing from my application: Sundance Homes for $3,[redacted] from Jan-March [redacted], and Sheegog Contracting for $[redacted].46 from July-Sept [redacted]. Despite multiple attempts to add this information, the system glitches prevented me from doing so. I eventually added the details and submitted an appeal to recalculate my weekly amount to $[redacted], but only the wages from Sheegog Contracting were considered. My funds have been placed on hold since 07/01/[redacted] due to the appeal regarding Sundance Homes. Despite sending numerous faxes and emails to the appeals department with no response, a recent call provided no clear reason for the hold on my funds. I desperately need these funds to start working, but my UI CONNECT account still shows my claim in adjudication for a month now. Any guidance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Since August 13, [redacted], I have been entitled to pandemic benefits. Initially, I filed a reemployment claim on July 19, [redacted], but it was deemed ineligible due to return-to-work and availability issues stemming from errors in claiming weeks related to confusion about fulfilling work search requirements. On September 23, [redacted], it was indicated that I was eligible after a redetermination, although there were pending issues mentioned, all of which have since been resolved. I speak with customer service representatives every weekday and am currently awaiting a call back. I make a point to note down every conversation with the agents as the responses to my inquiries are inconsistent.

I was terminated from my job on June 26, [redacted]. I applied for my unemployment benefits on June 28, [redacted], but up to today, they have not been approved. The website is challenging to use, as I get locked out after two failed attempts. Despite waiting for 30 minutes as instructed, I remain blocked. Calling is equally frustrating, as I was advised to file a new application last week. I followed that guidance, but contacting a representative this week has been impossible. Despite multiple calls on Wednesday, Thursday, and today, I am still on hold. The call has disconnected automatically after being on hold for two hours on previous occasions. It has been over 4 months since I first applied for benefits, and I am yet to receive any support. The delay due to the pandemic is causing financial stress as finding a job is challenging. I need immediate resolution as I have diligently followed all instructions provided without success. This lack of progress in accessing benefits that I have contributed to is unacceptable.

I haven't received my unemployment benefits from 6/14-7/13/[redacted]. I should have received the $[redacted] from the CARES Act plus the state unemployment benefits for this period. I have kept the checks from when I was receiving partial compensation from my employer, Arribas Brothers Co. I need guidance on how to return those checks and receive the correct ones for the weeks I am entitled to. This issue has been ongoing for months, and it's impacting my ability to pay rent. After doing odd jobs since July 14th, I am now left without any income. Please reach out to me at [redacted].

I have been struggling for over a year to receive my unemployment benefits. I am owed $3,[redacted], but I have not been able to reach anyone despite numerous attempts. The impact of COVID-19 has made finding work incredibly difficult, even for manual labor positions. I have been staying on a friend's couch for a month now as I have nowhere else to go. Unfortunately, contacting shelters has also been challenging due to closures. My phone number is [redacted], and I have been tirelessly calling various numbers in search of assistance.

I was a victim of identity theft between July and August, and my reemployment account has been locked. I have been trying to verify myself since July, but I have not received any assistance, call back, or email up to this day, December 7, [redacted]. I am still facing difficulties and just need guidance on what to do next. I would like to understand reemployment's policies and procedures. Will I receive the remaining funds? Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

My account with Florida unemployment was on hold for a month without any communication. I contacted them last Monday, and they said they needed an adjudication form to be processed, which would take a week. They told me to contact them the following week, but they have not resolved anything yet, and I am falling behind on all my bills. I am at risk of losing my car, and this situation is becoming unbearable. I haven't received any payments since November 5th. Any assistance to expedite this process would be greatly appreciated.

I applied for benefit payments in July [redacted] but faced eligibility issues. In November [redacted], I was able to request benefits for weeks in September and October, which a supervisor guided me on in December. Due to various reasons, I couldn't submit the requests. I had a link to request weeks before Jan. 1, but lost my pin. When I tried to retrieve it from the link, the system was down until after New Year's. Despite multiple calls, only one person tried to assist me. I need help with this issue, as I have been unable to resolve it on my own.

I lost my job in March [redacted] due to COVID-19 and received unemployment benefits until November 6, [redacted]. I returned to work on November 18, [redacted], at reduced hours. From November to December, I had varying hours, but since January, my hours have been inconsistent, sometimes reduced to zero. I have been unable to apply online for the weeks with reduced hours and am struggling to reach the unemployment office for assistance. The online system is not allowing me to explain my situation accurately, directing me to irrelevant steps. I am willing to provide proof of my working hours. Please contact me via email for assistance.
